Helen Lewis is a dishonest, unethical careerist hack

In what is becoming an almost weekly occourrence, Helen Lewis has decided to throw me under the bus, linking to the esteemed journal of letters, Metro, to back up her findings in the Atlantic that I “mockingly posted photographs of transgender people”.

She knows full well that my targets in that prank were men who looked just like me taking the piss by calling themselves lesbians. Helen, you may not care about the disgraceful, coercive gaslighting that lesbians are facing at the moment from these abusive men, and that’s fine, I never expect people to share my concerns, I’m sort of used to it by now, but how dare you deliberately misrepresent me just to score points with the captured American publications for which you work.

I have been at events with Helen Lewis and Meghan Murphy and many leading lights of ‘terf island’, and nothing she said at those events made me think there was much distance between us on this matter. But Helen, like every journalist working for American publications, is another semi-secret gender critical person who thinks nothing of smearing those braver than her if it helps her get ahead.

Again, I have to break my rule of never publicly criticising gender critical women because this kind of deceit has repercussions for me and I simply cannot allow their callous political positioning to stand. I’ll call it out every time, exhausting though it may be.
