Gender dysphoria is a disorder of immaturity - a failure to grow up emotionally. That is why my dead Trans ex-H wanted to be an "older brother" to our two children, why he never made any suggestions or decisions about what school they should attend, what extra-curricular actitivities to do, where to go on holiday, etc etc. Just like the emotional infant that he was. He really was not interested in sex at all, not just "not with me", but not at all. I realised much later after he had left that he had no explanation for how he "leapt" from infancy (up to age 7 still believing in Father Christmas) to wearing a middle-age dress from Dorothy Perkins with a look of "ingenue wonder" on his face. There were chasms in his emotional development. Psychiatrists should spend their time looking at this lack of emotional development: they should try to elicit in their patients curiosity about emotional learning and tackle the pain which caused the "roadblock",

I'm sure he'd conclude that young kids are accepting of what he tells them because their minds haven't yet been filled with prejudice. They haven't been filled with knowledge or the ability to use reason either. Telling young kids that a girl can be a boy and a boy can be a girl, isn't going to provoke surprise from them. They'll accept it and interpret what that means in accordance with a three or four years olds knowledge and understanding of the world around them and the world inside their heads.

I'm surprised and disappointed with the Welsh government, it seems tobe making decisions without thinking about the implications, or it has and doesn't give a shit anyway. I hope that now that has been made public that the name of that 'trainer' is highlighted, the muppets who invited them are identified and sanctioned and that they are allowed in no other Trust. And those who permitted this under their watch won't skip to another lucrative board role to escape censure when they feel like it.
