Rosie Duffield has played a blinder. By not submitting to the misogynistic cry bully activists in her party with the usual grovelling apology we've become accustomed to, she has forced Sir Keir's hand. Not only is "no debate" totally unviable now, but the gender nonsense is being aired in the mainstream. Those in denial now have to look us squarely in the eye and tell us whether they believe that women have the right to call ourselves women and talk about our bodies and ourselves, or not. And a man saying this is all the more pointed. It's now clear that, according to Labour and the Lib Dems, the only people who have a right to refer to themselves as women are men.

This is the only positive thing I can get from this. Marr exposed it on mainstream TV. So it has to come to a head quicker. It's another light shone on the madness. I am desperately trying to keep sane with this aspect of it.

The Denton document showed that whoever has financed this campaign are terrified of the sunlight of public exposure. They themselves know they can't withstand scrutiny. Well, they're getting scrutiny. There's a little bit of hope in all the darkness.

"... the most marginalised and abused communities*"

*excludes the Royhinga, children living in relative poverty, Palestinians, people with disabilities, refugees, women, etc.

Is everyone sitting down? According to Human Development Report 2016 by the U.N. Development Programme (https://www.tralac.org/news/article/11436-world-s-most-marginalized-still-left-behind-by-global-development-priorities-undp-report.html) the largest, & therefore most marginalised and abused group, is women!

I'm fed up with the "most marginalised an abused" rhetoric in relation to transpeople, as well. So, why aren't the other marginalised and abused communities creating the same ruckus and getting the same attention as 'poor trans'? Rhetorical question, of course - we know it's because the trans movement got the sort of funding that other marginalised groups would die for. Even when the spotlight has gone onto other marginalised groups in the past, it has NEVER been as intense, long lasting, and as damaging to another group as this current trans movement is.

I am in trouble at work for saying “Only women have ovaries” so the stonewall nonsense has spread far and wide. Could not believe what I was hearing this morning.

Totally lost ALL respect for Labour. I do not know how they can seriously think that virtue signalling to bullshit ideology trumps the rights and voices and women. It is so telling who they care about and it certainly ain’t women.

What a pathetic wimp. And what a courageous woman Rosie Duffield must be. Can't be any doubt whatsoever who is the most fit to lead Labour.

"We need to make progress on the gender recognition act." - he just didn’t add “at all costs”. Because this is the brief these people have been given, lucrative enough that it overrides all common sense.

Exactly. This all goes to show that we are not led by elected politicians, we are run by lobby groups. In this case, the lobby group that campaigns to sell women's human rights for profit

Let's stop pretending people don't know what they're doing, or are just a bit thick. No.

Anyone who has ever said that men have the right to access women's rape shelters, prisons changing rooms, toilets, medical care, sports, political appointments and so and so forth is absolutely, definitively, doing it on purpose. No need to fill in any gaps. If it looks like a misogynists and shrieks like a misogynist, it's a misogynist.

A vote for the left is a vote for men in every woman's space. We are to have no freedom of any kind from men anywhere. Not even our word is to be ours.

This is precisely what TRAs want. Always assume the intention is exactly what it seems to be, you'll almost always be correct, and it's much safer to do so.

Whoever said Kier Starmer believes in everything is spot on. He has absolutely no convictions, no backbone, he is the epitome of a cowardly, woke shyster. Groucho Marx joked "those are my principles, and if you don't like them, I have others" sadly this is how Starmer operates. He is not prepared to stand for something which will ensure he will fall for anything and he will. Women won't forget.

Then again Iceland seems pretty gender uncritical. I wonder how the new Prime Minister would answer the Staniland question or the Marr question? That would be fascinating to see.

I feel really sad right now. Apparently, if you say that only women have a cervix, you're transphobic. Twitter is mental right now - even Blue Tick telly doctors are joining in (you'd think a medical degree from a prestigious university would enable you to say exactly which sex class of human has a cervix. Obviously not. )
