Anyone who has ever said that men have the right to access women's rape shelters, prisons changing rooms, toilets, medical care, sports, political appointments and so and so forth is absolutely, definitively, doing it on purpose. I think whenever we hear someone say that the trans community is the "most marginalized", we need to respond: "The only way we can determine how often and in what ways a community is marginalized is through accurate statistics which means that we need to accurately collect and report people's trans status. If, for instance, trans women are classified as women, we will not be able to discern what specific barriers and needs trans women have."
