I just realised what a bind Starmer is in. Admitting that gender identity is a load of harmful, sexist, homophobic bollocks would make him look briefly strong but then everyone would wonder about this man who allowed himself to be tricked into saying silly things about cervixes on live television. This is a grave test of judgement that he failed because he simply does not believe women are worthy of his full attention.
