If the Green Party had elected Shahrar Ali they would have votes pouring in from voters who have had enough of gender idiocy - the majority of voters consider gender ideology to be akin to flat earth theory.
Meanwhile, the Lib Dems are happily cashing in on the gender pharmaceutical gold rush, the Tories allowed all this crap to happen on their watch (and just appointed a Stonewall ambassador as 'small business advisor'), and Labour are a basket case.
The first party that's not scared to call out this nonsense and commit to safeguarding women and children, will clean up at the ballot box and force the others to get real about it.
I think that those familiar with gender ideology and its absurdness would have responded well to Shahrar Ali elected as leader. But a lot of people don't know much about it, that is beginning to change, but I've spoken to quite a few people about it and they wave their hands away saying it's nothing to do with them and doesn't affect them. They don't want to engage with it or think about it.
Maybe things have to get even worse before they get better. If you focus on the world of trans/gender activism, all progress is significant, but it for people like the ones I've described, all it means is more 'woke' nonsense they can ignore. These are people who also have a vote.
Until about a year ago, I hoped that the next government would be a Labour one, and we'd all get a chance to see the UK and the world through a non-Tory lens. But the prospect of seeing it through a Labour one is even worse! Labour have demonstrated how prepared it is to throw women under the bus, and some will jump themselves, which is beyond tragic.
The Labour has nothing good to offer women, it won't ensure that our sex based rights are protected and maintained. Instead, they'll be gone and arseheads like Lisa Nandy will parrot 'transwomen are women', so what was the problem anyway?

I think the Tories are hedging their bets… but at heart I think they are the best hope for pushback. And they are in a position to do something about it. I really really hope the tide is turning now. That thing about conversion therapy is a bit confusing but could potentially result in a crackdown on the worst practices. Then they just need to tackle the hate crime legislation. Oh, and prisons, education, employment, GIDS.
