Just want to remind everyone I was banned off twitter for saying I wanted Mermaids prosecuted for harming little children and that I would "legally nail them to the fucking wall" - ironic hey?

I thought about your ban as I was reading the article, Dennis. It must be somewhat bittersweet to be vindicated in Parliament after all that happened.

Ah, I'm just glad this evil is finally crumbling, post Musk maybe they'll let me back on :)

Fingers crossed.

Given that I got a seven day suspension yesterday for posting "Every trans child is a failure of psychiatric care", I'm not seeing any significant change in Twitter's position! 😁 😁

I have tweeted, asking Twitter to reinstate you now that you are proved to be right. Elon Musk? Fingers crossed.

If we can trick a gender borg into misgendering us on twitter they'll be right on it I'm sure

I once said I was trans on Twitter. Got a few TRAs suspended for misgendering me.

The fall of gender happens in 3 parts

Stage 1 is the flight of the cowards, 2 is the howl of the zealots and 3 is the prosecution of the monsters.

I think we just entered stage 2

Bloody fantastic post as ever mate

Omg, 'The Fall of Gender'. What a glorious term.

I very much hope we have entered stage 2. And with enough force that the bastards can't recover, and aren't helped to recover by sinister forces uninterested in gender ideology. But the short bursts of optimism are getting longer.

If Mermaids arranged a babysitter

Like their trustees they wouldn't tell you who it was

Like their forums they would let the kids out the door

Like their resigned trustee one would be sympathetic to a Paedophile statements and organisations

Like their social media guy one would be posting public nudes

Like their CEO they would be in favour of teenage amputations

Like their involvement at the Tavistock they would be homophobic to the point it's a safeguarding risk

Like their moderators they would provide your kids with harmful objects like breast binders

Like the detransitioners we see they would leave your kids broken and miserable.

Would you hire that babysitter?

That's what they are when your children are in their care.

A good point I read elsewhere - how many virtual signalling parents who cheer on this evil, would allow a trans identified man to babysit, when they requested a woman?

Expand full comment

I think a fair few are so dumb they'd cheer anyone coming in if it made them feel righteous, popular or special and would tell the child to shut up and stop complaining if they said a word. It's how abusers hide in plain sight and I see all this as abuse.

LoL. Maybe he thinks he arrived by stork or was the result some "immaculate conception", or "sprang full blown" from her mind like Aphrodite (??) from the mind of Zeus ... 🙄

Hardly believable the number of people so clueless about basic biology and science.

Its quite a sneer to say " presents" as a woman. As if the top hatter person could scarcely be expected to differentiate between the woman who was their mother and bloke in his 60s suddenly deciding to be a she. It sums up so many of this daft cult.

Expand full comment

"daft cult", indeed. If not an understatement of the year. 🙂 "a mob of people crazier than shit-house rats peddling toxic, mephitic, and quite antiscientific claptrap" seems at least a step towards a more accurate description ... 😉

However, the problem seems to be that every man, woman, and otherkin -- and their dogs, cats, and gerbils -- has different definitions for what it means to be a man or a woman. Many people see them as genders -- as a range, a diverse spectrum of personalities and personality types -- whereas many others see them as a simple binary based on being "adult human males" or "adult human females".

For example, see Merriam-Webster's usage guide on gender:

"In this dichotomy, the terms male and female relate only to biological forms (sex), while the terms masculine/masculinity, feminine/femininity, woman/girl, and man/boy relate only to psychological and sociocultural traits (gender)."

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/gender#usage-1

See also this portion of a video from Jon Stewart who underlines his apparent view of "man" and "woman" as a diverse range of "presentations":

https://twitter.com/TheProblem/status/1578777239855972354

Of particular note though is his quotes of people like Tucker Carlson who insists that there are only two genders - they are clearly using "gender" as equivalent to "sex".

But the problem with Stewart is that he apparently hasn't got an effen clue about the bed-rock difference implicit in the biological definitions for the sexes, "male" and "female" -- i.e., very different, profoundly different reproductive abilities between the two and only two of them:

https://web.archive.org/web/20181020204521/https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/female

https://web.archive.org/web/20190608135422/https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/male

No wonder everyone is riding madly off in all directions, no wonder the whole issue is such a clusterfuck. Don't see that improving much until more people are willing to faces those facts.

In relation to those statements of support for Mermaids - no, sexuality is not defined by feelings. Orientation is innate, and immutable. A man who feels like a lesbian, is nothing of the sort.

Wait, does trans inclusive background checks mean NOT checking crimes associated with birth name?

To be honest how the **** would any of us know? They slide out of every obligation, responsibility and duty they have as those are all unfair, heteronormative cis concepts. There's no stable definition of 'trans' or 'inclusive' and so what would 'background' mean? Is that your social media profile image background? As you sit in your schoolgirl skirt with a 'check' pattern? And how dare you transphobically doxxingly deadname. Have you looked behind the person and beyond their shoulder in an interview? Yup. Well you can put a tick in the box as you've checked their background.

Expand full comment

I noticed on the Mermaid job advertisement it acknowledges DRB checks may cause anxiety. Such a check would only cause anxiety if the applicant had something to hide.

Gender ideology extremists are delicate people. Some can't even endure court proceedings without their 'support dog' and mother being present. Dispensations like this give them the fortitude to bully people with such ferocity. That and the blood of virgins, perhaps.

How are they managing to raise a red flag about a red flag with everything they 'flag' up. What is their thinking? Safeguarding meet Mermaids, Mermaids meet Safeguarding, I hear you are unaquainted with each other. DBS checks aren't nice so let's not do them, oh ok, all sounds normal.

Miriam Cates has started the ball rolling and Liz Truss is on board. This really is the end for Mermaids, at long last.

Expand full comment

I do wish people wouldn't prognosticate with such apparent certitude. I'd hate for this to be jinxed. Mermaids are exactly the kind of grifters who move between the raindrops, as they say, and wouldn't it be just ironic if they were able to come back from all of this somehow? I hope that I'm totally wrong, but stranger things have happened.

If this is a response to my post, I have absolutely no idea what you're on about. How was I *lecturing* you? I merely said that my personal experience was different from yours. Does that constitute lecturing? I said nothing to you about the 'correct way' of responding, and I'm at a loss to know why it is that you would come to such a conclusion.

Eddie Izzard could NEVER play a woman as we all know he is a man and would make production unintentional hillarious. Just imagine him playing Lady Macbeth, it would be like watching Mrs Brown's boys. He just wouldn't be are to pull it off Acting is supposed to be believable

Miriam Cates thankyou.

Labour get a grip and be brave enough to say that personal belief systems can’t trump women’s sex based rights or be used to justify damaging children’s bodies.

This should be an easy concept to grasp in a liberal society.

The wonderful Miriam Cates stepping forward in defence of women, girls and common sense. She is a true champion, a sincere stalwart, a voice of reason raised high against this absurd gender madness. I wrote to her once and was amazed to receive a comprehensive reply - amazed because she's not my local MP and therefore not obligated to respond. That she did, and at length, is testimony to her integrity and compassion.

I am very much looking forward to the virtue signalling queen that is Jameela Jamil, tweeting when Mermaids is finally taken down, all it's sins are laid bare, Susie Green and her ilk are prosecuted and there is nowhere to hide. Go on, justify it all. Justify the the real harm that has been done and that you have and still are enabling.
