Mind has fallen
Queer= homophobic slur. Non-binary=doesn’t exist. Asexual=attention-seeking. What a fantastic way of insulting and minimising the experiences of people who actually suffer from mental illness!
“I can see that I’ve still got a long way to go, but I can also see how far I’ve come.”
This #LGBTHM22, Alice shares how being a queer, asexual, non-binary autistic person has impacted their mental health.

Men! Want to sleep with kids? Just say you’re non-binary!
Parents of 10 and 11 year old girls found that adult male counsellors shared toilets, showers and sleeping chambers with them for 3 nights on a science camp trip because the adult males said they identified as non-binary

If you, a man, purposefully enter a women-only space, even if the women get angry and shout at you to get out, gang up on you, or call security to have you removed. The aggressor is still *you*.
Is Glenn Greenwald waking up?
You have to wonder if this is a Kim Philby type situation
The fucking head of MI6, folks.
Using the tragedy in Ukraine to rack up points from Stonewall is a new low, surely??

Helen still dealing with an army of red flags
Not one of these people can answer with a simple “no” to her question and it drives. Them. Nuts.
Gregory here is actually responding on a thread that starts with a man telling a woman to go and f*ck herself because she believes that women have the right to set their own boundaries.
But the woman of course was 'provoking'. https://t.co/NCasK4s3n8
Scottish Government Lawyer believes people can change sex
Last week I sat in the Court of Session in Edinburgh where I heard the Scottish Government's lawyer say "it may once have been thought sex at birth was immutable...it is no longer so" and now I know how it must have felt to sit through the Scopes Monkey Trial in 1925.
Roz’s wig is now calling the shots
Women who believe there's no such thing as a lesbian with a penis are to blame for Putin invading Ukraine.
I've seen a lot of crackpot opinions in my time on here, but I think this one takes the biscuit.
THESE. PEOPLE. ARE. HOMOPHOBES
The real conversion therapy.
I hope this is parody but who the hell knows

Ah, the magic of make-up! A bit of blusher and you can be as much of a prick to women as you like.
More straight tourists
Straight people! Did you know that a haircut can make you GAY?
I used to donate to Mind, and give all my secondhand clothes to a local shop. Informed them of exactly why I will not longer be doing either, and they came back with the same old stonewall guff about being a 'top LGBT employer'.
I replied that Stonewall have been utterly unsupportive of ‘detransitioners’ - people, mainly young women, who came to recognise that their desire to become the opposite sex was driven by traumatic experiences, abuse and mental ill health. Many if not most female detransitioners turn out to be same sex attracted, not ‘men’.
As a mental health charity, I’d expect Mind to advocate for careful assessment and support for vulnerable young people and adults, not an ‘affirmation only’ approach and puberty blockers and cross sex hormones, as Stonewall does.
I’d see this approach as antithetical to Mind’s mission. It is certainly antithetical to my ethics.
My friend is a university lecturer and she describes how now at the beginning of the course, the kids introduce themselves with their mental health issues. Eg ‘I’m Elaine, I have autism’ and ‘I’m Jack, i have severe depression and anxiety’. The mature student looks baffled and just says ‘I’m Jane.’ Meanwhile, another friend who is a doctor described to me how, at one expensive girls school in north London, the girls have learned they can be more special by diagnosing themselves with various mental health conditions. They read up on it, self identity with it, and voila, up the social scale you go.
