Given the mental nature of gender ideology and its powerful grip on many institutions, there are no guarantees of progress but there's a huge advance right there. I find it incredibly offensive that three men who think they’re women would pose with a statue of Emily Wilding Davison. She fought for women’s rights and not so that men could take them away from us.
I think it was a deliberate act to inflame the GC's, they know exactly what they are doing by posting that photo. They want to cause great offence and actually I also find it distressing. I know it's only a statue but I still find it distressing, but of course that is their aim.
The tweet says they felt 'obliged'. I'm unsure why anyone would feel so 'obliged' but their thinking is upside down. Isn't it curious that they often feel 'obliged' to encroach on our spaces, our words, our bodies and our histories too. Fetishists playing out their fetish. Who is requiring this of them? Rather than worrying about GC twitter accounts with a few thousand followers, shouldn’t they be focussed on those shaping culture and the popular consciousness…like the top 20 global websites, those sites get the majority of all of the traffic on the whole internet. The good news for TRAs is that most of the top 20 are quite silent or non-committal on the ‘trans debate’, so job done, but a few aren’t. In fact some of the top 20 are incredibly partisan and make a clear distinction between women and trans women. Going so far as having searchable keywords, categories of content and filters allowing users to find only ‘trans’ content.
Surely if TWAW and TMAM then these categories and keywords are transphobic and bigoted dog-whistling aren’t they?
I think we really should be asking why the TRAs are not going after these websites to have these transphobic categories and keywords taken away.

I recently found an old video clip of my sons trying to call me by first name at that time. The creep, the seep of oversexed behavior & fake victimhood contrasted with my worn dungarees, my children's knee-patched jeans and hand-me-downs from friends with older children.

Questions definitely need to be asked about the inclusion of Tatchell anywhere, but also about why this organisation exists at all. Presumably, as a charity it receives public money in addition to funding from other sources. But, based on the words of Jordan Grey, it didn't come about for good reasons and it doesn't do good work, it's there to indoctrinate and normalise identities, behaviours and ideas that young children shouldn't have knowledge of. It doesn't have a legitimate purpose or mandate and should go, just like Mermaids.
