The conversation with the therapist broke me the other day. Children like him are why we will never accept this dreadful ideology.

Me too. He was so articulate; so clear. I hope he can find a way through the betrayal. Spurred me on to make my submission to the Govt Consultation on the proposed Conversion Therapy Bill. Could not find a way to fill in the online form without buying into the ideological language and the conflation of sexual orientation and 'gender identity', so I sent a hard copy and an email.

Maggie Chapman MSP is a disgrace for signing that letter. Trans identified males are far more important to Rape Crisis in Scotland than victims. Can you imagine any lesbian in distress about an experience with a T.I.M. going there knowing about M. Wadwah? I can't think of any women's service up here I would trust now.

Someone claiming to be “governance” of lgbtLabour responded to the tweet about lesbians being vetted by saying it’s a lie.

Which shows a nice open-minded approach and will definitely make whistle-blowers more likely to come forwards, doesn’t it?

Today's Glinner's Twitter was worth the price of the subscription alone. Alex Jones, Grey Slavery, the 1917 Commie graphic etc. The Twitter algorithm bit eluded me (can’t go on Twitter)but all the rest more than makes up for it!!

women are making up trans-identified classifications for themselves that basically mean 'women', and they're getting TRAs banned for disrespecting their identities

at least, I think that's it

Priceless.

I think it's that people on twitter are calling themselves AFAB (assigned female at birth) transwomen and that others are saying they can't be (I thought any form of self i.d was possible in the LGBTQI+++ world LOL!). And so the AFAB transwomen are reporting them as transphobes, so their accounts are suspended.

Thanks—I’ve resisted Twitter; for my own mental health and time management, I'd be hopeless if I had an account. Haha! I am still furious at Reddit banning all the GC subreddits a year or so back, so this is delicious.

Sorry is that what you meant by it eluded you, or did you just mean you can't go on twitter?

Republicans have won the Virginia gubernatorial elections against the democrat incumbent. The press accuses Youngkin (rep) of whipping up anger at creeping transrights among voters after the Loudoun County School scandal. Yes, he certainly did, and it paid off, so if good liberals don't want to lose the next elections, they really ought to look at what they've unleashed. Here's an article, pre-elections.

Very interesting re the therapist so called. Also Glinner could you point out people's profiles what they do or do not say. A lot of TRAs are anonymous, no name, no details about anything. They can be totally made up so I always try to point this out.

Why is ending up on Alex Jones’ show seen as funny, I’d be horrified if my work was being used by that unhinged, far-right lunatic to advance his agenda, a ‘know me by my friends’ sort of thing

Also, does anyone want to comment on the news that Lily Cade, who was extensively quoted in that BBC article, posted on her website a rant that called for the execution and lynching of trans women, to name just a couple of the HORRENDOUS things she said (I won’t post a link but if you type her name into Twitter you’ll screenshots).

I hate to reply to you, but it was delicious watching Alex Jones ponder Graham's posted photo. He seemed to be saying, "Hey, this one's not too bad!" It was the head tilt that did it.

this is a TRA who couldn't resist paying to have a sniff around. Pay him no never mind

Yep, she wrote “if you left it up to me, I’d execute every last one of them personally,”and that she wants to “lynch” Laurel Hubbard, Fallon Fox and the Wachowski sisters. And that’s just part of it, the post comes across like the manifesto of a mass shooter. Her website has just been taken down.

Be interested if, given the accusations of trans activists being toxic, anyone has a response

(Type in her name into Twitter for screenshots of her post, be warned it’s VERY disturbing)

Not sure why you’re reacting like this, I’ve only posted a few times and tried to be respectful whilst making my point, I haven’t attacked anyone or dismissed them. You always claim no one from the other side wants to debate you, well I’m here and you can talk to me.

I pointed out that one of the woman in the BBC article has just posted an unhinged diatribe calling for trans women to be executed, plus several other vile statements. I assumed you’d come out against this, given you say TRAs act with toxicity, but you seem to have just defended her (correct me if I’m wrong). Have you read what she said? Are you able to condemn her?

I’m not expecting a reply, but if you do can you be a bit less hostile, I don’t think I’ve done anything to warrant it

I'm sorry but you keep chucking in that Alex Jones comment which is just the usual guilt by association, and you're more shocked by an angry woman (who let's remember, has been sexually assaulted) than by nearly a hundred women coming forward about sexual abuse by trans-identified men. Your politeness is just a mask. You are a monster.

I’m genuinely trying to be polite, it’s not a mask

My point about Alex Jones is I don’t see how ending up on his show was funny. If a stunt I’d pulled was being used by the most unhinged man on the internet to make a point I’d find it unsettling, you might disagree but that was the point I was making

As for Lily Cade, I have no problem with her being angry, it’s what she said that I found disturbing. Also, I’m not sure how aware you are of her background. Several female adult performers have accused her of sexual assault and rape. (For the record I been a victim of sexual assault)

Whilst I’m not saying you have to disavow your views, I do think it shouldn’t be too difficult, given what you now know, to condemn her words and actions.
