Can everyone take 10 minutes out of their busy days and write to the Charity Commission asking them to investigate Mermaids and Stonewall - the amount of funds gathered from the public purse they are spending on the persecution of the LGB Alliance needs to be looked at. I would think it goes against both their constitutions and therefore puts their charitable status at risk.

I wrote several months ago, but it needs a concentrated effort by more people to get the CC to open a case file and act.

I think you’ve made an incredibly important point that they should not be going anywhere near this. The Charities Commission needs to step up urgently. I believe all registered charities belong to us the public! I hope both Mermaids and Stonewall get closed down

I feel it's more about expectation than hope now, both of these organisations, what they represent and what they do, are being scrutinised in a way they weren't previously. Stonewall is an LGBT charity, so they are concerned with issues that affect these groups of people, right? Well, no, not since they started stigmatising lesbians for choosing not to date people Stonewall thinks they should be dating. Or pressurising people who are same sex attracted to identify as same gender attracted, with no consultation. Stonewall's metamorphosis has eluded so many people, most, probably.

Mermaids seems to have been given an overwhelmingly positive reception. I don't know how much attention it's attracted in general, but I think probably not much. This isn't a state that can remain any longer, and it won't. People who who ignored this stuff because it had nothing to do with them, are no longer doing that, they've realised that it very much does have something to do with them. How could it not? Evidence of the obsession with all things gender is everywhere, and for anyone unaware of the lengthy lead up to this, the sense is that it came out of nowhere.

Those who weren't able to relate easily to Keira Bell's experience, aren't going to feel disassociated from Maya Forstater and Allison Bailey's experiences. And in the near future, they are going to be aware of more young people like Keira Bell. Even so, I think Mermaids will be finished before then, Stonewall too. It can't come soon enough.

Anyone continuing to ignore the awfulness or continue to spout Stonewall/Mermaids nonsense after last weeks news and the filmed arrests of an ex service man and Harry Miller is now an actual bad person.

Something I didn’t appreciate is the massive number of dodgy diversity jobs in workplaces. Just read there might be are over 300 positions in the civil service

I will. I’ve been thinking about this for a while.

Just what I was thinking: the best form of defence is attack !

Are the UK police more interested in arresting women for misgendering men who claim to be women than in prosecuting men for raping women?

Expand full comment

I think we all know the answer to that: absolutely.

Not to mention rape cases where the perpetrator is a trans identified male? Dangerous men, in jail for sex crimes, have been transferred to women’s prisons in the US. One was expelled back to men’s prison for impregnating two fellow inmates. That convict is now whining about their trans rights being violated. It’s absolutely bananas.

re. silly Green Party 'meeting'.

Funny, and not funny. The 'non-binary' 'gender non-conforming' tears and drama -- because 'she' was (correctly) addressed as 'she', and not her nonsensical demand of the multiple personality pronoun 'they' -- are emblematic of everything that is wrong with the 'gender' cult. It's a time-sucking, energy-stealing, illogical, problem-causing, emotionally manipulative, psyche-destroying cult. And this woman's narcissistic tears, whether or not she realizes it (and obviously she doesn't, because she is only thinking about her own self-concocted 'needs') lead directly to the destruction of children's lives. You can see how vehemently 'trans' personalities cling to pronouns for identity validation. If the demand is resisted by others, their entire world comes crashing down. No foundation of inner awareness and self-knowledge. Their shaky world entirely depends upon others. That's no way to live.

p.s. I'm going to use 'trans' personalities now instead of 'trans' people. Far more accurate and far less weighty an 'affirmation' of the actual existence of such human beings.

idk, they never strike me as having personalities either, they just spout cultish groupthink. I've always thought people transed to make themselves interesting, but it doesn't work.

I thought being on the verge of runaway climate change would be a big issue for the Green Party at the moment, not having to remember everyone's made-up genders and invented pronouns.

I know, right? You'd think widespread human suffering and the extinction of 50% of animals and plants by the end of the century would focus minds... truly I despair.

I forget where I found this one - (not Michael Caine in "The Italian Job", but a complaint to The Green Party):

"You were only supposed to sort the bloody climate out - not make everyone forget where babies come from!"

It makes total sense though that this how the world ends, with climate change ravaging the planet while the human race is too busy denying basic biology to notice.

This. 100%. I despair.

Re. the comedians list: Graham, if you're not getting support from Paul Whitehouse, it's because he has a transwoman for a son-in-law. Friend of a friend knows his eldest. She married a man with a beard, now they're 'lesbians' because he's come out as trans and has hormone boobs. A heterosexual couple claiming to be oppressed lesbians. Seems like a homophobic mockery of real lesbians to me.

Graham is a GOAT. I love Glinner's Twitter because these days it's infinitely better than twitter!

I love sj ferguson's pronouns: "I, me, ego" That basically applies to anyone who lists their pronouns.

The Tavistock story is only just beginning, as part of the inquiry concluded that all 9000 of these children who "disappeared" off the system must be traced. I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and guess there won't be 9000 stories of happy people who found their true, inner pink & fluffy gender identity by taking prostate cancer drugs or getting their breasts amputated.

I can see the Newsnight interview with Graham getting many repeat viewings and getting increasingly uncomfortable for Sarah Smith and the BBC.

The best analysis I've read of the reasons for Tavistock closing, and what it means for the care of children going forward, is at Transgender Trend. The continued attempts by TRA s and their allies to spin this as a 'win' is pathetic and predictably dishonest.

There’s a really nice cat at the Green Party misgendering piece.

Plus a lady saying that she’d do the pronouns wherever she could remember them!

And a “non binary” person crying about being ignored

You couldn’t make this up 😬

Expand full comment

But why is the non-binary person at a women's meeting in the first place? Surely "she" should be asking for a separate meeting for non-binary people? Absolutely no understanding of equality legislation either in the Green Party or by members.

Everyone, please do what you can to have the GIDS section of the Scottish Tavistock, the Sandyford, shut down. Write to people and newspapers, sign petitions and post online. Just thought I would mention..because one of the most regular things trans activities are pushing is that trans people are born trans … BUT if there was a boy who never saw a woman in his life and was raised with only men… he wouldn’t be able to identify as a woman? 🤷‍♀️ (just a thought)
