Ok, mind blown. I need more words to describe these realisations as this unfolds - it's sometimes referred to as 'peaking' but there's this strange panicky feeling that this couldn't possibly be true or happening but it is. It's like being part of some underground reality movement. Some time outside is required.

I know what you mean. I feel exactly the same way. Be outside with nature. The birds and the bees very much know which sex is which. It's just some humans that are pretending they do not.

Yes, I agree. Watching non-human animals getting on with their sex-based lives is a really good antidote.

Lovely picture of Posie by Moley. It made me smile. Posie goes from strength to strength. She is a major force in this battle.

In a recent YouTube video fronted by a well-respected medical doctor, the then stats for monkey pox was discussed. At that time over 1000 people in the UK had been infected. This number included 9 women. Was I the only one who wondered how many of those 'women' were really men? And the value of these statistics in any meaningful interpretation.

They could be women who don't know they are having sex with men who have sex with other men. (I used to proofread novels marketed to African-American women, and this was a HUGE theme.)

2SGBTQ? So for males only then? How nice of them to exclude lesbians. Except I thought lesbians could be male? So why exclude the "L"? I'm so confused [sarc].

As for Stonewall. I very much hope that one day we see that charity fall firmly on it's face and disappear and that LGB folk are once again put at the centre of Pride, like the LGB Alliance does.

I might think of it as MMMMMM+ from now on. That's M for me, me, me male misogynist movement. Or muppets. Misguided? Myopic? Or maybe 'MEN', male emancipation now! M+?

There was a time when I had to explain what the 'alphabet soup' was to older or certain members of our staff. They were genuinely confused and would usually fidget or roll their eyes a bit and mutter it makes no sense. But what is it for? I tried to explain the principles when it was still LGB but within a year leaped to LGBTQIA+? and I stopped being able to explain as it was changing so often to make any sense. There wasn't a stable group, rights or identity anymore. But why does anyone in this workplace need to know what someone's sexual preference to have sex or no sex is? We seemed to be unravelling all gay liberation that hadn't bedded in generationally and twisted that to fetish demands that had nothing to do with our job roles and no one was allowed to ask why.

Pure poetry! At 'em! And at it!!

It's easy to get stuck on words but it's a way we can stop the onslaught, and to reclaim all the vocabulary land they steal, burn, rape and pillage. We must be positive against this.

Yeah, if this group is understood (as it most certainly should be) to consist exclusively of same-sex-attracted people, then there's no need for confusion: we're just talking about homosexuals and bisexuals. Boom, done. So simple! But that's the last thing those "spicy straights" want, of course. Cuz then how can THEY be gay??? Endless fuckin' letters out the ass to the rescue! So that the sexuality of straight men and women is rendered all MAGICAL and SPARKLY and KWEER (puke). And let's drag people with DSDs, and those who aren't sexually-attracted to EITHER sex, into this shitshow! Since they're so WEIRD and FREAKY. You know-- like GAY people are! What could be more flattering, right? Who wants to be all NORMAL and BORING, anyway?

Well... those who've been stigmatized, discriminated against, locked up in jails and mental institutions, beaten, and killed for their supposed "abnormality". The way same-sex-attracted people have. Normal and boring looks pretty good to us. After all, we had to fight long and hard for it.

Because to be able to see normalcy as boring-- and freakiness as harmless fun-- is a privilege.

I feel like I’m looking down on ants, coming out of nowhere, racing towards the writhing caterpillar.

They want to tear it apart and consume it.

This is orchestrated and contrived, and it feels as if no one, except those of us who question this ideology, are prepared, or even want to do a damn thing about it.

Read thread by Women's Voices about the designer of the 'trans' flag.

https://twitter.com/WomenReadWomen/status/1510888599985991685.

Was permanently suspended, but through persistent appeals and good luck had my twitter account re-instated. For two days. Permanently suspended again -- for this:

'I want to see memes of the 'trans' bus losing its wheels. Or the 'trans train' derailed. I want to see drag queens flying out the windows, unicorns landing on their heads, trans flags torn asunder, glitter fuel leaks, you get the idea. It would be so very satisfying.'

Naturally, I am appealing again. A cartoon visualization for gawd's sakes, with unicorns and glitter fuel. But, I have a feeling it was the 'trans flags torn asunder' that got to them.

You are more likely to be exposed to it in certain ways, with certain behaviours and environments. Certain close contact. With those already infected. But as Owen Jones decided we weren't allowed to speak about that, it gave time to spread, with the spreading of his ignorance as well as the pox itself.

Then it's spread beyond that initial population. Again, the evidence is so great as children are now picking it up on holiday and tracking how it spreads is more challenging.

We're not good at dealing with communicable diseases and Owen Jones is a large part of why. Or viruses or vaccinations or Public Health. Delaying our response leads to spread and then he uses that as another reason to manufacture outrage. He capitalised on the stigma of AIDS and shook that up to be a nice contrary cocktail. I loathe him.

Just to state the point I am making is what is the difference "gay men" and "as well as other men who have sex with men."!

Yes, but what is a man, who knows! It's like saying 'non cervix-havers' who may or may not, if there's a 'r' in the month, have an organ that identifies as a cervix, or not. On every third Tuesday of any given month. It's almost intentionally confusing and so 'inclusive' it's excluding anyone from understanding it balderdash. Remember, don't say gay apparently is the BBC's new mantra. We're all trans now.

Expand full comment

'Gay men, bisexual men and men who have sex with men' is the phrase that has always been used in sexual health in order to ensure that all at risk men are included. Reflects the reality that there are men who have sexual activity with other men but do not class themselves as either gay or bisexual. It's not a new phrase, it just isn't one you often see outside of sexual health

Thanx for explanation...but how dumb and uninformed are people today!

No wonder so many weird diseases etc are going around.

It's so weirdly self-defeating that Little Owen Jones decided to leap on this and attack, attack and attack anyone who tried to explain what was happening and to not move into sexual health prevention mode. To protect gay men. In Pride Month he railed! How could they! It's Turing all over again!!!

We could say we should consider those who lie about their partners or their sexual histories, that might be a good message too. Higher risk activities. But that's not something false and juicy that Owen can scream about.

saying "men who have sex with men" in public communication also meets gender ideology propaganda goal of only identifying gay men as paired with trans. that way every time you make a public announcement about trans the public thinks you are referring to gays, even though they are nothing alike. gays have broad public support. gender ideology measures which actually erase the rights of gays and a half a dozen other groups, needs to ride on the coattails of gays for it to be successful. having a news story about gay men is a disaster for gender ideology propogandists because the public may start to learn LGBT really has nothing more to do with being gay than do post men who are gay or store clerks who are gay.

I think 2S is North Americanese for 2 Spirts, a modern invention for "trans" people who are Native Americans /First Nations. Some tribes before Contact did have special identities for men who adopted a female lifestyle But how that should be interpreted now is debated. Certainly many Native Americans resent the term as a colonialist imposition. But people pushing the term are making bank.

Expand full comment

This isn't about 2S or even developmental sexual differences or cultures. It's about women. Perhaps women who like women. Called lesbians. Women have been erased as a standalone form we're just some high art concept now. It's all the menz or those who identify as menz or 'other' or 'not you eurgh I'm special' or 'queer' or 'non'.

Which might make more sense to say this pox is spreading mainly with gay men. But no, shush.

"The Trans movement is PIE with better marketing"

I had no idea what PIE meant till I looked it up: Paedophile Information Exchange, a British pro-paedophile activist group which campaigned for the abolition of the age of consent.

What is most disturbing about the perfectly justified comparison between PIE and the Trans movement is that it suggests those high ranking paedophile networks so prevalent in "nutty conspiracist" literature, only instead of hiding in the shadows, these movements are now emerging brazenly into the media spotlight and the media, the establishment and even the (AHEM!) "scientific community" are giving their blessing.

It really adds credibilty to those Biblically inclined who proclaim the "End Times".

That he has become celebrated is astonishing. How did we get here?!
