Have to admit i was both incredibly relieved to see that Katie Herzog clip in the Bill Maher trailer bc the wheels are definitely coming off but also confused and a little angry on your behalf, just as i was when i read the not-so-subtle recent article by Singal.

Kate Harris of LGB Alliance said it best on one of the past Mess We're In episodes when she said Graham is a hero who stood up and talked about all of this when it wasn't safe to do so, when very few other people would.

Thank you Graham.

Amen to that

Absolutely. The clip from Bill Maher? It's not good to take more than an impression from a short clip. But Katie Herzog...Katie was hard to remember, came across as insipid and her almost point was being made by others like Graham that she's been shooting down for years. So it's hard to take her seriously.

It was Andrew Sullivan (author of Out on a Limb) making his points cogently. The audience reaction was justified. This is all about the stereotypes and how corrosive they are. How anyone has not been able to see the homophobia inherent in trans activist genderology is beyond me as it slaps you round the face every chance it gets.

A polite request to anyone who is not yet a paid subscriber ...please if you possibly can do so, - please, subscribe to this wonderful substack!. The content ifrom Graham, JL and the team is always timely, factual, humorous - (where appropriate), and most important, accurate and you will get to also enjoy Moley's wonderful world class graphics.

Hopefully this substack can be maintained until at least Graham's Father Ted Musical is properly launched on the stage for us all to enjoy.

I reckon we're going to see more people like Katie Herzog being suddenly shocked and appalled at gender ideology, in direct relation to how advantageous it's becoming career-wise. Any day now Helen Lewis will suddenly be mortified at the way women's rights are being undermined, as if it's just started.

It's very annoying but they can f*** off because the bigger picture is more important than them; it means they've sensed the wind is changing. Having said that I'd like to think one day Graham will be on a chat show with Katie Herzog and get a chance to remind her that she was part of the pitchfork-wielding mob. He's definitely earned that moment.

Not sure I agree @Ewen - surely the point is to persuade ppl to stop this harmful gender nonsense?

Expand full comment

Of course - that's why I said "the bigger picture is more important than them." If Herzog et al going on chat shows helps to bring gender nonsense to an end, I'm all for it. At the same time they were part of a group who helped to derail Graham's career for trying to get across the same reasonable case that they're now advocating. They could acknowledge that (and apologise to him) while also working to end gender ideology.

If anything it would help to expedite that, as some of those who are currently part of the witch-hunt might be more inclined to listen to them. They could do that but I doubt they will.

We all know we're on the right side of History ,and the other side, in spite of their protestations to the contrary, know they are NOT ,which is why they make such vitriolic and vicious attempts to silence us ,showing their true nature in the process .♥️🙏👏👍

“The expression of a lawful belief may be limited if infringes on the rights and freedoms of others.”

The irony in that statement is lost on the EHRC I imagine? We all know the EHRC really mean menz with ladybrainz. Women’s rights are up for grabs in their world.

"...EHRC think the idea that biological sex is immutable is "controversial"..."

The idea that biological sex is immutable is an idea so taken for granted for countless millennia that it hardly even registered as an idea. The idea that biological sex may NOT be immutable is controversial.

Interesting comment on the Bill Maher show: an "overly sensitive" boy is told he might be a girl. It's curious how this new gender "fluidity" has resulted in a more ferocious assertion of the old gender stereotypes.

Expand full comment

This is what particularly horrifies me. "Gender" being promoted as the epitome of freedom, fairness, and fully-realized human potential... when it's where our most deeply-entrenched bigotries-- misogyny and the stigmatization of same-sex attraction-- come from. The original evil ideology. How can so many people fail to see that, for anyone who believes in women's or LGB rights, gender should be anathema?

yep it is so regressive .... yet somehow 'progressive' .... ?

Darren Grimes: "The BBC are obsessed. What’s so wrong with the #Lionesses being white? Is the suggestion here that black players are being unfairly discriminated against? If so, does the BBC have any evidence for this claim? It’s the constant race baiting that baffles me."

Well it shouldn’t baffle you Darren. Race baiting, gender baiting, general divide-and-rule is what it’s all about.
