A timely reminder that Graham is far, far too good for twitter.

Thanks Glinner. We've chatted occasionally on Mumsnet and Twatter (before you were banished) but I've name changed. Can't be too careful!

I posted that I was concerned that the US Surgeon General thought Rachel Levine was female. Appealed but still had to delete. Guardian also deleted a comment (under a piece on censorship) where I raised concerns that twitter we're forcing us to deny truth.

Expand full comment

The Guardian decided some time ago that not only are facts no longer sacred, they're not even tolerated unless they're Guardian 'facts'. It's appropriate that it ditched 'comment is free', because like facts, only Guardian approved comment is free, as in permissable. Unless the piece is so uncontentious and bland virtually no moderation is required. That publication is so far down the shitter, helped along its way to the moral sewer by Viner and the likes of Owen Jones, that it will probably never re-emerge.

I always read it as 'Facts are scared' in true Guarniad style

I've appealed my tweets - one to manslab Clymer - I said I see him as a man in a dress LoL. And calling it a mental illness #Repentmuhfuh ;) Nope.

Expand full comment

I will call him Dr. Levine as he earned the medical degree (I'll give him that) but I am not going to call him Rachel or use feminine pronouns. #pronounsarerohypnol

Expand full comment

I'll call them their chosen name as people change their names by deed poll etc etc. Won't make him a woman. Any more than manslab Laurel Hubbard is. No feminine anything, I won't even call them a c-bomb LOL. With you on the rohypnol.

Refining and streamlining my language all the time.

overjoyed to find you here Rex, kia ora. I miss home so bad but this australian guy I love and married would never leave Oz. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart for standing up and punching hard for the women of NZ. Big hugs! PS, today I am wearing one the TERF tshirts that I bought from you.

Re "Girls' Night In" and your comment "Believe me, no-one is spiking Morgane Oger’s drinks" - I know right?! It's a bloody Autogynephile's fantasy, that it should happen to him! Mate, in your (wet) dreams! Your lots' dreams are women's nightmares!

And knowing this (thanks to "educating ourselves") doesn't it really illustrate the polar opposites of Autogynephilic males ("transwomen" as we have been pressured/brainwashed into calling them) and WOMEN (as we're being pressured/brainwashed out of actually calling ourselves without prefixing with that fucking stupid "cis")?

Expand full comment

I could not watch Blanchard on the Mess, but apparently he was throwing around the word "cis." With pushback? I didn't hear of any.

Well, yes - but I'm a bit glad they didn't jump down the old guy's throat about it, to be honest. I grit my teeth a little quite often, when listening to other GC people. But this is nearly a year after I peaked. I am much more hard-line these days, no longer willing to compromise. But my newly peaked milder more conciliatory self of last year wouldn't have deserved condemnation. Nor did I get any. Instead I got encouragement from and shown the light by the terven. In fact, it was a savage attack by a TA that fully peaked me, when I was trying to be tactful. A vicious AGP I now realise, at the time I thought he was a woman! I really hope the sweaty-balled bastard knows how he turned me Terf. :-)

Expand full comment

I think the old guy needs to have his throat jumped down. I'm sick of men being passive when other men are being a-holes.

Expand full comment

Nah. He's old. And a key figure in my early peaking. The start of my recognition of the condition, and personal and societal influence of autogynephilia. He wasn't the first to identify it, but one to name it. I really respect him and am hugely grateful to him. And I excuse his being slightly out of date for thise reasons.

Expand full comment

I always say ‘actual women’ when necessary. We do have to acknowledge that (extremely unfortunately) some ppl will insist on hearing ‘and transwomen’ if you say ‘women’. At times it is important to he able to distinguish the real. I won’t stoop to ‘cis’ though.

He's the missing Bee Gee, surely? Told him to fire his hairdresser and stop forcing his way into rape shelters - said he probs wants to get a stiffy listening to the women's abuse stories bc perve. Why was I suspended? LMAO.

Enjoyed the "another mess" discussion. Stephen Fry's idiocy has been around for some time. I was watching the Booker Prize winner prog on Bernadine Evaristo BBC4 and it was great until the end when she visited a gallery to show all the black "trans, non binary, etc. etc.photos. " Anyway another week ahead to challenge the TRAs nonsense. I wish it would just end but it will go on and on. Hopefully people will wake up one day. I do not know how Glinner, Morty and Staniland cope having to do this day in day out. I just do a bit of Twitter it is nothing compared to what you have to deal with day in day out. But it has to be done.Good wishes to you all.

I couldn't believe it when I watched a Stephen Fry standup show when he talked about getting into a taxi in NYC and the driver telling him all about his poor ol' mother who was overwhelmed at the sight of an American supermarket. My god, that's right up there with urban myths of alligators in the sewers.

For UK members: Update on my hospital experiences. This sign was on the wall where I had a scan today. So sad that people deny their biology so much that this has to be spelled out to them.

Parents Warn of Their Children Being Subjected to Transgender Indoctrination

"In the United States, a sharp rise in the number of children identifying as transgender has alarmed some parents. As these numbers rapidly grow, three mothers share the warning signs of transgender indoctrination."

“To all despondent parents who just got blindsided by this,” two mothers offer some advice.

Vera: “Read as much literature as possible, both affirmative and also trans-critical. Be familiar with the propaganda and lies so you can rebuff them. Nothing substitutes for knowledge and information.”

Mary: “Cut off electronics/online activity, be vigilant about parental controls and monitoring. Be cautious and not confrontational and keep communication lines open and encourage critical thinking. Give them as much love as possible but also be firm as the parent. Get them outdoors and back in nature and into the world like through volunteering, extracurricular activities, if they’re old enough getting a job.”

I keep hearing about the GC purists and how there are people that don't help the fight on this this side because of their views, and would really like someone to do a bit of a piece on those within our ranks that have threatened and carries physical acts against any TRAs, transpeople, trans allies etc. I wonder if that might be helpful to clearing up some of the disinformation about the GC discussion and also start discussions amongst ourselves about a clear set of asks if we ever get the chance?

Expand full comment

I have heard of women online who are so frustrated and angry that they have said things that are "not kind." I really don't care about that. Women have a right to be angry; WE are the ones being attacked, threatened, assaulted, etc. And I'm sick of people who think we're just supposed to take it and take it and take it.

Expand full comment

Why do you think there are any GC people who have threatened or carried out physical attacks on TRAs? Do you know something I don't?

Expand full comment

I don't personally believe that any GC people have made such threats or carried out any physical attacks, but instances can and have been skewed, so I just wondered if there is space or a need to have our own retorts having looked into the behaviour of GC people online. I personally think it shows strength to be able to disagree and move forward, particularly with those who you share more in common with than not.

Not going to lie but I thought the trans comedian was Matt Lucas parodying a trans. It doesn't help their cause at all.

Absolutely cannot stand Matt Lucas either, and I am sure he would never have the balls to parody a trans.

I know there have been many, many complaints from women in the SNP about JK. I'm not confident that anything will be done about it though as the party seems to have a real problem with internal misogyny - particularly with younger male members.

I don't know if anyone recalls but Marion Millar was doxxed by a member of the SNP (not JK) and feck all was done about it.

One place Obama was was at his own very expensive birthday party which I think was held at his extremely tacky $11 million home. This is a great article:

https://covertactionmagazine.com/2021/10/01/a-company-family-the-untold-history-of-obama-and-the-cia/

Obama was an abysmal president. He seems to be totally without conscience like they all are, and definitively worsened African-Americans' lives while blaming them for their own circumstances. When I read about the CIA connection all became clear.

Rachel Levine may be a gift -- I doubt many people know who he is -- but that dude Ashlee can peak entire communities!

Dr Levine is the one who invited a certain republican politician to a private meeting in his office to "discuss" transing children. Twice! It was one of the most obvious examples of corruption I've ever seen.
