I joined a few days ago. It does feel odd - and refreshing - to be able to post certain images without fear of being reported. For the moment, at least.
I realise that there are issues with the current political leanings of certain major inhabitants of the space (From my perspective, that is), and also more serious allegations about the CEO Jason Miller, but for the time being, it is a valuable option to the repressive, stifled and authoritarian atmosphere of Twitter.
It feels odd posting about human biology on Gettr without fear of another suspension. I'm still catching myself defaulting to ambiguous wording, so no doubt Twitter conditioning works!
Do Flake choc bars still flake or did they take the crumbliest flakiness enjoyment out of them because they were too crumbly & flakey & left melted bits everywhere?
I've been back and forth between the two as folk move over. I'm not sure if it's my imagination but there seems to be more blunt stuff getting said on Twitter now - surely they must calm down their moderation unless they want to be a snowflakes only service.

I don't swear and I don't like being mean … I have just lost so many accounts for talking about biology!

Is it tweaking (using stimulants) or twerking you find gross? Personally, I find them both gross, but am fascinated as to why your comment was deleted. 🤔

It’s very freeing to be on Gettr! I don’t say that much on Twitter for the usual reasons. Also some amazing people who don’t follow me on Twitter follow me over there which is awesome! Hopefully they will introduce direct messaging soon too. I’m @ proseccosaurus so please come and find me ☺️

Been there a few days now testing the water and so far, so very good. It's true that most there so far are on the right-er end of the political spectrum but centre and left people are showing up in much bigger numbers all the time. Substantial GC presence there now.
