Of course they are waking up. After getting the lesbian subreddits banned on reddit, the woke community is moving on r/askgaybros for not being "trans inclusive". A subreddit called r/gendercriticalguys was already banned by reddit. Subreddits for lesbians that were not welcoming of transwomen were banned. The subreddit r/actuallesbians is moderated mostly by mtf transgender mods. The cis women only subs are gone... And now a subreddit for gay men that doesn't want to constantly be challenged to enjoy vagina that calls itself male is being targeted.

I am so confused about this site. No self respecting lesbian I that I looked up to when I was part of the LGBT community back in the day would EVER be caught dead anywhere that had pro-rape, pro-incest, and pro-spy cam forums. I don't understand why there are even any lesbians, ever, on reddit, or ever were. All the energy gone into that site ... women could leave and build their own sites with the millions they have banned from there. I have never frequented reddit and from the beginning I found it repulsive because of the trash sexual violation forums they have on there. I don't understand why any females would frequent it, especially not lesbians who have NO excuse.

That's fine and all.. but I'm not lesbian. I'm not even particularly wont to call myself a feminist. I am an American woman who is secure and confident in myself. Reddit, as it was formed, was meant to be a place where people with all kinds of interests could find communities and share conversation. There are subreddits for TV shows, for fans of meat and how to cook it, for sports teams, for video games, for lovers of lentils... everything. It was, essentially a site that catered to whatever and folks formed and curated their own communities. No one was excluded nor included... it was an organic place where people found a "public square" as it were... to get together and discuss common interests. Now, you can judge...absolutely... there are not safe for work over 18 places on reddit that have been criticized for awhile. On the other end, there are spaces for devout Catholics and Christians. What is happening NOW is that there is a cabal of power moderators and admins that seeks to drive people off of the site if they are considered to be something that can get the site bad press and also if they are cisgendered lesbian or straight women who do not wish to have penispeople in their space. No really.... the aimee challenor situation was the tip of the iceberg. She was a moderator before the hired her. There are still so many moderators on reddit who seek to enforce a certain narrative. And moderators who dedicate themselves to trying to deplatform any kind of speech they don't like and they REALLY don't like "transphobes" lately. In short. Reddit started as a good idea and is slowly tipping into insanity.

Thank you all! Good men are hard to find, as the song goes. Hard to find, but still out there and putting yourselves in the firing line. Much appreciated in today’s toxic environment.

About time. Good on you blokes. And Ryan John Butcher, you're a liar. They're not trans phobic, they're standing up for women. It's you hate mongers that need calling out.

yep but this kind of rhetoric peaks people...the people that know the Boys mag or whatever it is and the LGB Alliance know their friends aren't bigots and they themselves aren't bigots and the more they whine about 'hate' the more it just plants seeds of doubt in the minds of rational people. It's like when you have to work with a histrionic person and eventually everyone just tunes them out and back away slowing. I think there is a massive backing away slowly going on right now.

The thing is, a lot of this has been self inflicted. First of all they started taking over subs like ActualLesbians (probably has more penises than pussies at this point). Constantly trying to shut down subs like detrans because of course they don't want people discussing how to escape the cult (not a million miles away from the behaviour of religious cults) . Whitewashing LGB history to make it look like trans people were always involved (as far back as Stonewall) and groups like Mermaids dropping the pretence and coming across as a deeply homophobic, gender role enforcing groups.

If the T is dropped then it will be their own doing. The sad thing is myself and my fiancé are a same sex couple who are planning on adopting and honestly we won't let our son or daughter get involved with groups like Stonewall etc. due to the influence of trans activists getting it in their mind that a tom-boy or femme are therefore trans
