Liberty's short journey from PIE to gender ideology

There are currently approx 36,000 young women raising money on Just Giving for unnecessary double mascectomies, because they’ve been told by organisations like Stonewall, Amnesty, and now Liberty, that they will become real boys if they permanently disfigure themselves.

Liberty has no curiosity at all about how many of these 36,000 girls may be influenced by trends, trauma, or mental illness. Instead it’s straight to the high court to put on record their disdain for the increasing numbers of detransitioners who list all three as factors in their decision.

is it still a conspiracy theory if i can personally say that trans influencers and online trans communities influenced me to identify as trans, transition, and then regret my transition? and that the same thing happened to most of my teenage female friends?

There is no evidence base for the claims made for ‘trans healthcare’ (as plastic surgery and unnecessary pharmaceutical intervention are so laughably classified). But this doesn’t matter to the captured charity sector. It doesn’t matter because these kids who believed in Santa a few years ago are on their way to being their ‘true selves’.

These are the horrors that arise from people just blindly, dumbly winging it.

I often think gender ideology, though it’s being pushed by the Left, comes from the same evolutionary branch that grew the Trump presidency. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN and TRANSWOMEN ARE WOMEN, two glittering lies. The first dazzled the disenfrachised poor, the second has the most priviliged people on earth under its spell.

Another tweet in the Liberty thread states “Access to treatment is life-affirming for trans children – without it, the risk of serious, long-term harm dramatically increases.”

You’ll notice there is no link to any peer-reviewed evidence of this claim. That’s because none exists. It’s horseshit. There is evidence to the contrary, of course; precious little, but it’s there. So this begs the question, on what basis are people like Gracie Bradley making these claims? If they can produce no evidence, then they are behaving in a manner that is almost criminally reckless.

In the late seventies and early eighties, Liberty and Hariet Harman, (who beclowned herself a few days ago on a related matter) supported the Paedophile Information Exchange. One has to wonder about the organisation’s motives this time around. After all, if children can consent to irreversible medical procedures, how long until they can consent to sexual activities with men like Tom O’Carroll and Geoffrey Prime?

From the BBC piece on PIE linked above: Journalist Christian Wolmar remembers their tactics. "They didn't emphasise that this was 50-year-old men wanting to have sex with five-year-olds. They presented it as the sexual liberation of children, that children should have the right to sex," he says.

Now doesn’t all that sound familiar?

Whatever their reasons, Liberty are supporting a mass experiment conducted on children which disproportionally affects those young girls who might grow up to be gay. That, in itself, is horrific. On the basis of that alone, I believe one day this will be looked back on as a scandal on the scale of Rotherham or Savile.

Keira Bell, good luck tomorrow on the second day of this disgraceful appeal. Whether or not it has to go to the Supreme Court, I have no doubt you will eventually triumph. To borrow the words of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, any other result would be obscene.
