Greed is a terrible thing. The number of people making shed loads of money from this ideology and young people’s distress is appalling. I wish the final part of the Cass Review would hurry up

Greed is the god before which much of our society bows.

While it's important to remove apparatchiks of the gender medicalization industry like the Webberleys, let's not forget that there are no controls on the agents of the Id of Gender Ideology, PinkNews. A thorough examination of writers and the husband team at the top of PinkNews is long overdue, including their financial enablers like Google.

Lovely to see you popping up in the comments Fred. Hope things okay with you x

This is long and I hope it doesn't get lost. Gender GP have prescribed testosterone blockers to a vulnerable young man I know. His mother has a rare form of early onset dementia. He watched her slowly get worse and worse to the point she had to have round the clock care before family intervened and she now is in a nursing home. They lived with no family around just him and his mum losing all abilities, his dad having walked out on them when he was young.

Only last year, month after his mum moved to nursing care he came out as "trans" and was referred himself to Gender GP privately. He has been prescribed hrt with no mental health checks (it's clearly a trauma response) and no family medical background check. Surly extra hormones are not a good idea with a strong family history of early onset dementia on the female side.

He is unemployed and pays £30 a month for his prescription which he pays from his job seekers allowance.

Although Webberly has been struck off they are still a very shady operations

Oh that's so sad, the poor thing. With his mum slipping away from him, no wonder he's in emotional turmoil and desperately in search of a 'community'.

What a terribly sad story. I hope he will get the proper support he needs. Where is Social Care?

Expand full comment

He was getting support. His actual Dr got him counciling sessions funded through a carer's resource and he had joined a course aimed at getting him into higher education. He's stopped both of these and firmly believes that his unhappiness was because he was living in the wrong body not because the last few years for him have been tragic.

Gender GP have affirmed he is actually a woman (through zoom chats) and robbed him of the support he actually needs.

I can't believe this is happening

If there is a hell then this pair along with folks like the head of Mermaids and the "Yeet the teets" surgeon have hopefully all got a very special place reserved for them. In the meantime I think this pair should have much stiffer consequences as they are ruining lives.

Let's hope so. How are the Charity Commission not sniffing around this? And what is a 'gender expert' when it's at home, BBC?

"Struck off" for the Americans is "You will never work in this profession again."

By the way, they got Yaniv.

Yaniv needs to be locked up. If ever there was an evil individual who is a danger to women and young children, he epitomises that.

But did they, really? The judge gave him a "conditional discharge," which means the charges won't appear on Yaniv's criminal record. Counseling and parole only. (Why is that appropriate?)

If Yaniv violates parole he goes to prison.

Michael Webberley has even less expertise than his wife: he was (until being struck off) a gastroenterologist.

No expertise in paediatrics, no expertise in endocrinology, obviously no skills or interest in assessing mental health or competence to consent to treatment.

It will be very interesting indeed if Gender GP continues to operate online.

They also need to be made liable to pay compensation to those harmed.

A sober and just decision, setting a high standard for adjudication in future similar cases. So my guess is it will turn out to be a highly significant case - not only nationally

He put everything on the line alright. Including things he shouldn’t have.

But in gender ideology worship world, he’s a saint.

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood of Michigan is going in the opposite direction, and announced they are offering "barrier-free hormone therapies". I must be thick but I just don’t understand peoples greed going before a child’s well-being

My replies all over the place , iPad not playing nice ,it must be trans lol 😏

Read The Real Anthony Fauci to really read about greed going before anyone's, including children's, well-being. Capitalism has a long history of caring NOTHING about children's well-being.

Was there a patient of the Webberley’s who *didn’t* get prescribed blockers or CSH?

I honestly don't know. But I'd bet my mortgage on there being not being.

That was a good result.Reading some of the relevant TribunalTweets,I as struck by how incredulous, perhaps almost horrified,an expert giving evidence was at M Webberley’s behaviour.Expert did not mince his words.

What's that caption underneath the trans flag where it says he wasn't able to defend himself blah blah? Can't read all of it. His wife said he was in hospital having a 'big op' recently - maybe that was it. This hearing has been slated for some time so he could have had representation arranged. I don't care about him at all but I do care about proper procedures being followed.
