David Bell as clear and compassionate as ever. His testimony is so damning.

And yes Graham ,you were right. We all knew it and those who pretended not to,

well,they know now.

But those "who pretended not to" know have not changed.

They are currently treating it as a "win" that Allison Bailey's court case failed to secure censure of Stonewall itself -- while completely ignoring her winning her case against Garden Court Chambers for discrimination, with the award of damages and aggravated damages.

All they know now is that they can't get away with it all unscathed. And will no doubt present the closure of GIDS as a scandalous case of misrepresentation and victimisation.

One third of staff reported that treatment was damaging and unethical. Holy moly.

And over how many years? The NHS are still failing to grapple with whistleblowing and 'freedom to speak up'. It took those like Sonia Appleby taking them to court to make that all public as the BBC, regulators and others kept looking away.

A mental health unit near me was closed after repeated awful behaviour and until the number of outrageous complaints and very basic failings was near constant. That also took years. A few years later few remember. The NHS is very resistant to change despite the warm words. It often seems a lack of basic humanity and I'm not sure how many staff stay or stay sane.

I keep being invited to pay in advance for my funeral, which makes me wonder: is there any way we could buy advance tickets for "Graham Linehan Presents Father Ted the Musical"?

A medical scandal of the first water. A toxic and lethal amalgam of Josep Mengele and the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Mengele

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuskegee_Syphilis_Study

Any people still left there at Tavistock should lose their licenses to practice medicine - if not be strung up by their nuts and left to twist in the wind. Figuratively speaking, of course ...

I hope none of the culprits at the Tavi are redeployed to the new services. A clean break is required.

Hopefully there will be proper scrutiny built in to the proposed regional centres and none of the "experts" from the Tavistock will be employed by any of them. We can but hope...

Wow.

That Dr being interviewed utterly guts GIDs, Mermaids and Stonewall.

How can the later 2 survive much longer beyond this.

If you ever talk to her again, consider asking her if she thinks her daughter feels like she is allowed to change her mind. Like a bride with misgivings on her wedding day, the pressure to go along must be enormous. A loving parent can convey to her child at these moments that changing her mind is ok, and she’ll be supported, no matter the social and financial cost. A mother in her position should reflect on that question: can my child changed her mind?

Rather heartbreaking how transgender ideology is corrupting, not just families where the results are particularly devastating, but also so much of the public discourse.

You've no doubt looked into many aspects of the issue, but, ICYMI, you might checkout several articles at Fourth Wave Now:

https://4thwavenow.com/2018/12/19/the-theatre-of-the-body-a-detransitioned-epidemiologist-examines-suicidality-affirmation-and-transgender-identity/

Article from a couple of years ago on "The Corrosive Impact of Transgender Ideology":

https://www.civitas.org.uk/content/files/2454-A-The-Corrosive-Impact-of-TI-ppi-110-WEB.pdf

And my kick at the kitty which at least broaches the issue of "rationalizing" - if that is at all possible - the concept of gender:

https://humanuseofhumanbeings.substack.com/p/welcome

It may help you to consider that, at best, gender is just a synonym for personalities and personality types (introvert, extrovert, masculine, feminine, agreeable, organized, careless, etc., etc.) - of which there are billions and billions:

You've done what you can. She can sit on a million committees, but it won't make her child change sex and it won't stop them ending up disabled or injured from a botched surgery. That's a horrifying truth she will sadly have to endure in the future, with all the added guilt of knowing she was complicit. I hope your own child can be saved.

"The Pediatric Doctor community."

She needs YOU to understand that trans "healthcare" is not taken lightly? Amazing she can be involved with so many experts and none of them can produce a viable long-term, properly controlled study of the physical effects of puberty blockers that shows they are harmless.

But great she is finding meaning in her life with all those doctors and lawyers and other parents. What a special group... The Glitter Committees!

My heart goes out to parents struggling with mentally ill children. I just don't understand how one can think that loss of sexual function, fertility, premature menopause, etc., is the best solution.
