Sometimes we see what we call 'smoke signals' from celebrities who are beginning to question gender identity, and Nicola Sturgeon has just given us a doozy.

This may be tactical. Sturgeon must by now know the scandal at the heart of the books by Joyce, Shrier and Stock. If she’s reading Shrier, for example, she knows about the sterilisation of autistic and gender nonconforming children at the Tavistock. It will be a massive political moment if she intends to address this issue with anything other than the deflection tactics that have served her so far.
I think we’re seeing some positioning here. I wonder who will break cover next?

Just found the bit underneath. Shit. I am a bit disappointed. I was optimistic there for a few seconds.
I think she would pick up those books in real life, but only on the way to a bonfire of the sanities.
