No worries, that’s OK, Graham! So much happening with BBC out of Stonewall, dinosaurs hoarding rights and then , of course, male cervixes, I’m amazed at how swiftly and thoroughly your writings appear. Thank you for all you do!

Agreed. The swiftness is certainly appreciated, because so much keeps emerging. I

Yep, and this information is worth repeating anyway.

I must confess here that I used to own a Citroën car. Mine was the 2CV, not the Cervix but I can see why some men might confuse them...

Ahhhh, I didn't know about the BBC. Maybe that explains my laugh-out-loud surprise listening to Woman's Hour earlier. Karen Ingala Smith was talking about femicide and she clearly made the point that it was important to talk in terms of sex rather than gender when looking at misogyny driving violence against women. She wasn't encouraged to elaborate but neither was she challenged! A minor victory for freedom of speech!

I’ll take every victory, no matter how small.

Some days I feel a little more optimistic, but then other days, it’s like being the snail moving along the razor blade …….

Did Lammy *really* not know that large amounts of those who say they've 'transitioned' have had no surgery, take no medication, I wonder? Or, is this just another of his huge lies? The Narcissists always trick others into thinking what very affable, caring people they are, can turn on the tears in seconds, and 'the rage' happens very fast too, if anyone dares to disagree with them. I just find it very hard to believe Lammy, especially when he was one of those who instigated and pushed for The GRA,.

Hansard Transcript of the actual Gender Recognition Bill reading is here:

https://api.parliament.uk/historic-hansard/commons/2004/feb/23/gender-recognition-bill

Thus, surely, he'd have had been given the information that many men, in particular, do not have surgery/medication?

Ann Widdecombe, a woman who normally makes my teeth grate, not least because she told the media we 1950s women were lying about not being informed of the 6 yr rise in our State Pension Age, (we were not), actually speaks a lot of sense in here and appears to be one of the only politicians speaking about the impact upon others of this bill, albeit the term 'women' is not said, in particular, when, of course, it is women who have been impacted the most and will continue to be, until this awful Act is repealed, never to rise again. And I agree with Ann Widdecombe in her views on the GRA.

Not once did Lammy question the horrific impact upon women and girls. He was just busy demanding that that those who want to say their sex has changed (it hasn't, and never will) must be given the rights and access of the sex they now claim they are, which is the most terrible thing and has caused endless problems, those problems increasing year by year, as Transworld demands more and more and more, in their fight to wipe women out entirely as a sex. He also muddles up 'gender' and 'sex', which again shows how Transworld has done such a good job in ensuring that few people know what the feck they're talking about now, in relation to 'sex' and 'gender', their Uber-Conflating plan working like a dream.....

In short, I'd not trust a single word Lammy says. He'll do say whatever makes him popular with the current dingbats surrounding him, desperate for adulation, no conscience, just another 'all about meeeeeeeee' politician, like the rest of them.

Wish we could get some of these Labour activists to speak out with their real names and confront Lammy openly. But of course I understand perfectly why they would refuse to. It's like the Wild West out there for GC people.

The Lammadon is the one that became extinct, he just needs reminding of it !

His attitude with the interviewer was entitled and obnoxious. If it was a Tory MP behaved like that, Lammy would be first in the queue accusing them of misogyny.

Well worth another read! The hypocrisy is only matched by the incompetence.

That's really disappointing. There was much to admire about David Lammy but the gender circus is making clowns of all sorts of people.

Thanks to "Julia" and if there's a follow-up I hope we get to hear about it.

Wrong thread (again) but saw this in Waterstones earlier…genuinely worrying. Graphic novel aimed at teens.
