"loopholes" are unexpected consequences. Gaming of safeguarding procedures by male predators in dresses was widely predicted, and not least by Graham.

Yes. This is what I suddenly realised last year. A sex offender can claim a trans status and have their entire history wiped out in one go! It is as though a new person has come into being.

I've long said the DBS requirement for trans people to contact them was open to abuse, because it relies on the honesty of the subject of the check. And we all know that trans people are lying to themselves and others by claiming to be the opposite sex, so are hardly the epitome of honesty. Full and frank disclosure is the antithesis of their ideology.

APPALLING and so obvious to anyone not trying desperately not to see it. On top of that, 'transgender applications team' - peak capitalism or what?! Working class people, currently hurtling from 'skint' to actual poverty, are funding a public body with a dedicated wing that attends to every possible whim of middle class folk with made-up identities. Where's the 'luxury Communism' they kept wanking on about?

These predators don't care about trans people .They will exploit anything that enables them to keep preying on their victims.Which is why,as is with other laws, steps and checks are useful. You can't just " become" a pub landlord,or a lolly pop person without some checks,so how can you just " become" a person of the opposite sex?

As trans status is pretty obvious, does the employer have the right to request the information stored under the previous name? What protection is there for them? As an employer of carers for my severely-disabled adult son, this would put me off employing anyone trans, just because I couldn't be sure I had their complete history.

Not revealing details of your previous identity through ‘being Trans’ is a very useful device for undercover cops & the security services to hide their identities for surveillance / group infiltration purposes. When they’re done, they can change their minds & go back to their previous ID.

They wouldn’t do that, would they? “Oh no they wouldnt... “. but wait a minute... previous tactics have included taking on the identities of dead children to infiltrate environmental campaigners, then going back to the previous ID, or keeping 2 ID’s running side by side, using subterfuge.

Relaxing the rules on self- ID means less scrutiny and not having to have your bollocks chopped-off to ID as a woman; and you can always change your mind later, because ‘ anything goes’ now so - “Oh yes, they would!”

I felt uncomfortable clicking like button for this piece.

Awful - but at least it is now in the day light

No one ever should be allowed to wipe out their past if they are a convicted sexual predator - this is bizarre and baffling

A complete scandal! As is the idea that a woman who refuses to be strip-searched by a male can be accused of a hate crime! How are these things possible???

Jeez!! How much more of this filth will ooze from Pandora's box (irony). It's like something from a horror story isn't it. The threat to the future of our youth, in particular, is becoming clearer and clearer every day. Need to contact my MP I feel. At least I will feel I have tried to shout in the wind ☹️😱

One would hope that there is a central registry of everyone that changes their name officially which could be queried by appropriate bodies so that a complete history is available. The name change wouldn't need to be disclosed to anyone - it could all be done under the person's current name.

Anyone claiming a different name without notifying anyone is suspicious anyway.

I read about this a while ago. When I had a DBS check I had to give any previous names but if you're trans there is a different process. It's all due to this strange idea the TRAs have that there are thousands of people walking around who are totally convincing in their new gender and are living stealth. The reality is that many people can tell if someone is trans anyway even if it's a slight variation in tone of voice or something minor.

Why is no background check done on those seeking to change their names by deed poll?

Endless damage flowing, and continuing to flow from the Big Lie. All that can come from the Lie is disorder and chaos, and more of the same, as we see every day.

Loopholes? Not really. In many cases the law itself allows them to do it.
