And whoever put that photo-montage together, clearly has far too much time on his hands,

I mean, her hands. Whatever he is... I mean, she is.

A logical, considered yet calmly brutal and fully deserved evisceration.

In a sense, I look forward to them not daring to, or even being unable respond properly!

Great work from DK. Just comes across as bullying a legitimate charity and someone needs to call it for what it is.

DK is one of the most important voices in this whole debate, from his poetry to his legal writing, he is unmatched. I would follow him ten times if I could and I go back to reread his Sam smith piece regularly just for the feeling it instills in me.

I have a heart-race at the idea of the members of the company opening this letter and going, collectively, “Oh shit, what have we done?”

All I can say is whoa.

And well done moleatthecounter, the art is fabulous!

Zing! And no foxes were harmed in the production of this letter.

Ouch! The calibre of Mr Kavanagh appears to greatly exceed that of Mr Maugham.

The latter remains the PSC (Person with Significant Control) - i.e. the overall boss - of the company Good Law Project Ltd.

Was the resignation following the Twitter indiscretion with the trans identifying man, or before (being 30/7/21)?

Regardless of the resignation as director, he can draw salary as an employee or by way of fees paid to him as a consultant or associate.

All donations to Good Law Project Ltd. are lobbed into the company into one "pot" - and the company is exempt from corporation tax. Ker-ching!

The company does not follow charity accounting methods (i.e. restricting, or ring-fencing, funds to specific projects) and as there are no charitable objectives - the company's SIC code is "Activities of patent and copyright agents; other legal activities not elsewhere classified " - it can spend the money on whatever it jolly well likes. And seemingly does.

The year to Jan 2021 was a good one for the company, raking in £3,000,000 of donations - we do not know from whom, and as such whether even "ethical". The year to Jan 20 received just £700,000 of donations. So an impressive >300% increase!

So, *ahem* they must be doing something right, or perhaps not.......?

The letter is great and sensible, but it strikes me JM and Mermaids know exactly what they're doing. Their strategy is to win in the court of public opinion by using inflammatory and misleading language on their crowdfunder, and smearing and delegitimizing the tribunal so that when they lose they can say the ruling was tainted by bias or bigotry. Classic Trumpian/dictator playbook stuff.

But great cover art Moley - one of your best yet!

That is superb - so precise & so lucid. If I were the kimono’d fox-slaughterer I don’t know how I’d get up again after that.

And hilarious artwork from the mighty mole.

Great work!

That is a days work that he won't get paid for! It is so hard to take on those who want to do damage no matter the cost. It is also very hard when who you are is being brought into disrepute. Thank you Dennis for all your time and effort, it is so much appreciated and should be celebrated.

Mole at the counter, have you sneaked under my door when I wasn't looking... The room looks like mine, although today it is much more cluttered!
