There's a world of difference between a mother toilet training their toddler and having to share bathroom facilities with grown men you're not related to. No-one is disputing that bodies are bodies, it's what some entitled and perverted men do with bits of theirs that bothers women.
I'm not sure how Paisley's poor mother would have felt about this circus. Getting someone to wash you intimately is a real erosion of dignity but having the fact trumpeted on social media to score points is seriously insulting. The man is creepy in an incestuous gerontophile kind of way.

So, a man who has had firsthand experience of male violence, against women, against children, yet who now promotes ANY man being able to Self ID as a woman and enter ALL women's spaces, fought for by women to keep women and girls safe.... He also speaks of how men need to change, to stop their violence... Well, perhaps he needs to start by ensuring NO man is EVER allowed into the very spaces which are there solely to protect women, to protect children.
He needs to find his younger self, get counselling for the violent abuse his father meted out to them all...and start fighting FOR women and not against them.
His younger self would be deeply ashamed of his older self...and, in my view, so would his mother.
Like most police forces, the PSNI are being led by the nose by everyone's former favourite lobby group, Stonewall. Hopefully this story gets real coverage over here, and hastens them dumping Bonewall.
