Congratulations, Emma Bateman!
Some hope for the Greens as they fight back against ideological capture of their party
They are very cross that Green Party Women voters understand that women exist as a sex class.
The Scottish group assert there is no conflict between trans rights and women's rights, but the women who are attacked for standing up for our rights know that this is not true.
I do however, want to thank the Scots for highlighting the excellent Women's Declaration International 'Declaration on Sex-Based Rights' which sets out the rights of women and girls, and has been signed by women from 157 countries.
This is what the Scottish GP object to:
'We reaffirm motherhood as an exclusively female status.
We reaffirm women's rights to freedom of opinion and expression, peaceful assembly and association, and political participation.
We reaffirm women's rights to fair play in sports'
'We reaffirm the need to end violence against women and girls, and to protect rights of children.
We oppose all forms of discrimination against women and girls that result from replacing "sex" with "gender identity" in law, policy, and social practice'
