I do think that the 'requirement' of pronoun use is very interesting. (Regardless of the fact that this would hardly ever actually occur in real life, or actual conversation... The first' third person issue)

All I hear is 'Well, it's just polite', or 'be kind', or 'it's just respectful'. Well, I would cordially counter that by asking what is 'polite' or 'respectful' about requiring others - probably strangers - to comply with your wishes, or requirements - and clearly if they are uncomfortable with it or unwilling to do so? It is a low level of personal coercion in my view, and it is an example of 'Concept creep' on one level. I mean to say, if I comply with your requirements, then what is next? What will you ask, or require - or demand - of me next? Perhaps that I now accept that you actually are 'female' or 'male' or even actually 'Napoleon'? Will I then have to buy into your entire package of fantasy and delusion? (In some cases of course, not all). I will not be rude or unpleasant at all, but I am not going along with you on this I'm afraid. How you deal with that is up to you. (I shall expect a delightful visit then, from our boys in blue and rainbow lanyards...)

It is for this reason that I say a firm 'no'.

I grew up in a Communist country where this was normal everyday life. If you didn't adhere to the beliefs of the Communist Party you would lose your job, your life would be made miserable, your 'friends' would abandon you and you would be considered a 'disgusting worm not deserving life'

This ideology it's showing the same signs, the same symptoms. Dictatorial and tyrannic.

I didn't let the Communist Party to control my mind and life then, I am not letting Gender Ideology to control my mind and life now.

Most people think that it's courtesy and kindness to use preferred pronouns, however I think it's demonstrable that the TRA agenda has skated along on people saying things they don't believe, just to be nice. I highly doubt that anyone, even the most woke of people, believe that Caitlyn Jenner is beautiful, for instance. But no one wants to be the 'unkind' one who says it. More than that, people will compete to be the 'kindest' person in the room, espousing how trans-identified-males are so beautiful and definitely pass and yes of course that's a real period, yep, definitely, you don't need a uterus to shed your uterine lining.

The TRA agenda is death by a thousand cuts. "Just call him 'she', it's fine." "Just let 'her' use the female bathroom, it's fine." "Yeah, ok, transwomen have a sort of hormone thing that they refer to as a period." "Yeah, ok, it's a period." "A transwoman who's fathered a kid can call themselves a mother, I guess." "Ok, she's a mother." "Yes, you don't need to give birth to be a mother, you don't need a uterus to have a period, transwomen are defacto beautiful and we definitely can't tell they are trans. That's definitely a woman in every sense of the word."

We'll all be behind you if it turns into a Maya Forstater situation. I don't know how she copes for income now, but that would be the nightmare outcome for you, so it would be well to jump to other less woke employment before you are pushed? Ultimately the BBC might be left with mainly wally employees and disappear up its own ringpiece.

Hope this individual survives this wokism and gets to keep the job. I don't like people losing livelihood over anything. It's not a great feeling to lose everything while you have family to take care of , while you are responsible for taking care of so many things. It's sad to see the world has come to this. If there is justice it needs to be served now. That person can perhaps lawyer up already
