The public are slowly teaching Gwent police the law
This was the wording on Gwent police’s website a few days ago.
Gender? Doh! Lots of annoyed phone calls later, they have to update it so that it actually reflects the Equality Act. Except it STILL doesn’t.
Nice to see ‘sex’ (which protects women) replacing ‘gender’ (which protect predators, grifters and middle-class people under 35). But what’s this? They still have ‘gender identity’ as a protected characteristic. The Equality Act only mentions ‘gender reassignment’, which explicitly and specifically protects transexuals whereas ‘gender identity’ only protects attention-seeking posh kids like Laurie Penny and Owen Hurcum.
Let’s see what it looks like tomorrow. Baby steps! (Thanks to Clare for catching this!)
Really ? Will they never learn? Just been reading the story about Jennifer in the Times.The report was factual ,with no opinion expressed. However,the comments by the public ( too many to get through them all ) were brilliant ,with each and every single one expressing shock and horror at the Gwent police:s actions. The public are definitely waking up now and it's been on GB News as well. Well done to Jenni and I hope she's ok after that ordeal. The public are behind her , that's for sure ,and if it wasn't for you Graham , JL ,moley and others ,none of us would even get to know about any of it so well done to you all 👍👍👍x

Stonewall trying to embed their version of the law. We should challenge every single organisation that uses this sleight of hand to muddy the protected characteristics.
