Will you make a note of this Dennis to cover in a future Queen's Speech?

What legal options does she have? Or will she have to depend on Tories to care?

She can sue them. It will cost money and energy she probably does not have.

Can you also discuss the story of the transwoman refused entry into a MacDonalds ladies loo by a security guard? When 'Paula' complained to Mac D they apologised and said they would investigate. A transman lawyer told Paula to sue MacD. I am not a lawyer, but I think this advice is BS and that under the 2010 Equalities Act, loos and changing areas can be sex based.

I hope she sues, and I hope she gives me the opportunity to donate to her legal fund.

This needs to be brought up in parliament.

It really does but sadly that’s been taken over by clowns at the moment. Maybe the Baroness can help?

They made to be made to carexwhen they lose the court case and Princess grace hospital is left with the costs just like garden chambers when they lost the Alison Bailey case

The money will come from their insurers though, so it probably won't have a huge impact.

Hopefully it will appear in the press though, bad publicity for them may help concentrate their minds

Frankly, I would rather have a male nurse attend me than a 'trans' identified male, whose motives are to be questioned. Because the NHS is in such dire need of staff, I can see more and more of these men pushing themselves into women's medical care - against the law. Why can't they be directed to the men's medical care? Because men would kick up holy hell, that's why, and because I would bet they seek out opportunities to invade women's spaces. The hospital is breaking the law. Better to let a woman die than hurt the feelz of someone who is 'trans' identified? I wish I could say I'm shocked, but, sadly, I'm not.

I totally agree about preferring a male nurse to a trans identifying nurse. I'd be very uncomfortable being attdnded by a medic with such an extreme mental health condition.

When my elderly mother had a male nurse she talked to him as if he were a very nice little lad calling him “Son” and asking him about his life and family. Mind you she did the same with her surgeon who was a 6’ 2” black man fortunately with a good sense of humour.

Those AGP's - who represent most of the actual adult 'transgender males', excepting real transsexulals and confused youths - LIVE to harass women and compel them to accept them as 'one of them' on a daily basis. It is their nectar, their honey, their reason to live. Every time a woman looks at them and rejects them as 'a fellow woman', their emotions explode, and they 'get even'. They don't care about us. They only care about themselves.

I despair. I am so angry that I can't find the words. There must be something we can all do to help Teresa? Anything. I will do anything.

I’m a retired nurse and this has made me apoplectic with rage. Imagine having an intimate procedure and someone identifying as a female barges in especially with the patients previous history of assault. This was breaking just one of the Nursing & Midwifery Code of professional standards , sounds as though a hell of a lot more were broken “- You make their care ( patient) and safety your main concern and make sure their dignity is preserved” If you go to the nmc.org.U.K. these are the professional standards all registered nurses, midwives and nursing associates must uphold doesn’t matter if you work in the NHS or Private. Imagine the CEO sending an email , why didn’t she phone Teresa ? No thought for the poor patient who still thought she was going to have her operation . Imagine all the stress and anxiety, the worry before complex major surgery. All this lady asked for was female nursing staff to care for her post operatively that was all. HCA The Princess Grace and that CEO need to take a damn good look at themselves! I wish Teresa well and I’m really sad she was subjected to this horrific treatment.

This is unlawful discrimination on the hospital’s part. Legal proceeding are always difficult and much more so in the circumstances of this case, but hopefully Teresa will bring them - it’s one of the main ways in which public services will learn.

I wouldn’t want to condone discriminatory behaviour by patients (which, of course, is absent from this case), but it’s also abhorrent that hospitals think they can refuse treatment to people because they have “discriminatory” opinions. The appropriate way, for example, to deal with a racist who demands to be treated by white doctors is to tell him that he will be treated by whichever doctor is available regardless of colour, not to refuse to treat him. If he’s then abusive to the doctor, there are often legal measures that can be taken such as a criminal prosecution. It shows the arrogance of this movement that it thinks it can simply refuse to treat those in need.

She should sue the living shit out of the hospital.

She may not survive — the surgery was necessary to save her life. I hope for anything that she does survive and thrives.

This really annoyed me, the CEOs position is utterly contemptible, virtue signalling nonsense, she utterly eviscerated him with her calm clinical intelligence. I hope she sues the fucker and his hospital into bankruptcy. What an utter arse.

What are the odds the wig- & lipstick-bedecked male just happened to poke his head into her room at that time for no clinically discernable reason?

It's almost like he knew about her requests, when she'd be there & where to find her. If so, who told him?

Or maybe it was, like, you know, totally random.

I collected my dad from hospital today. The discharge lounge staff screen, which is clearly visible to anyone in the room, was displaying the Trans insignia flag, in full screen mode.

This is the imposition of an ideology that many people disagree with, not just on grounds of sex vs gender, but on the grounds that it’s become coercive, controlling & autocratic.

It’s rampant, everywhere & sinister. It’s wrong in so many ways. That poor woman deserves to be looked after - not pilloried & denied life-saving medical attention because of her now - what should be - protected beliefs. This is OUTRAGEOUS.
