The last few days have been a positive day for us in the U.K. - the toilets, the new head of the EHRC making VERY encouraging noises, the Mermaids misgendering comedy fuckup.....all rounded up with a fantastic episode of The Mess.

Seriously you guys just make my week. I wish I had you on speed-dial.

I really hope this bubble of pure insanity will burst. I fear though that battles will be won but the war will rage on. Too many people have got too much skin in the game to walk away from the insanity right now. Even when it does eventually go pear shaped (and only after more and more people have got hurt along the way unfortunately), they won’t admit their wrongdoing and will blame everybody else but themselves. Or, more likely, deny their words and actions (born in the wrong body, anyone?)

You can tell I’m a glass half full kinda gal can’t you : )

If the TRA had any sense they would want it to drown out too. Because if it continues and they continue into positions of authority they will have an even further fall when their deviancy comes screaming out of the closet.

Do you have a link for the latest Mess - I can’t find it on podcasts or YouTube?

It will become so stark staringly insane soon that companies will be changing the toilet facilities on a regular basis. Like in those old Ealing comedies where the workers have to keep changing the signs in the factory every ten minutes, eventually the workers get so mad they throw the sign down and go on strike. I wonder if when trans men in dresses will demand their own Pneumatic drill in pink when they are digging the roads up. Imagine that hahahahaha

I'd pay to see that 🙂

Big T is an Associate Artist of the Old Vic Theatre and was involved in the 2019 refurbishment. He got his beard in a twist mansplaining the benefits of the new unisex toilets to women whilst dismissing their concerns.

Oh no, not him too?! :-(

yep JL just did that "A pattern is emerging' article here a week or two ago listing all the advocates for unisex toilets that got busted for child porn or pedophila. There is a link.

He more than anyone should know about pushing against gender boundaries and that wearing eyeliner and nail varnish doesn’t make you a girl when you are a heterosexual male bodied human! I’m disappointed in him

Something I've noticed, and it seems to be ubiquitous. People don't seem to like reading very much. Quite happy to take up another person's take on a thing and run with it, but engage the source material themselves. Glad you reminded me of the actual JKR essay from last year. Also... done with activists and their three word chants, they are a blight.
