The Charities Commission has a lot of work to do. Funded by us I believe. Stonewall should be on the list for investigation also, plus all the Charities signed up as champions. (E.g. Marie Curie so disappointing). All spending money on something that’s nothing to do with furthering their individual charitable aims imo.
Doesn’t this make all of these charities a sort of Ponzi scheme? Even if Mermaids isn’t directly able to raise money, it’s sibling charities can and pass the money up the chain?
If I'd randomly heard that there exist charities named "Jingle Jam" and "Mermaids" (assuming my life so far was in outer space somewhere) I'd seriously ask, "what were they thinking, can this be serious?" I honestly do not know how we keep our sanity. The focus on 2-dimensional, anime online life within these groups is just so, so unhealthy. I wonder how many missing suitcases will be found in Sam Brinton's home? I wonder what the consequences will be for Virginia's Loudon County School Board for denying rapes occurred in their schools? It's no wonder these clods suppress the truth.
Their timing is, umm, interesting - just as 1000 families are preparing to take the Tavistock to court and there's no way Mermaids won't feature.
Chris Beck, the Navy seal who famously "became" Kristin Beck, has just detransitioned and now says his transition "destroyed his life." Obviously it's a desperately sad story but he is at least using his experience to warn people of what he calls the "cultish" nature of gender ideology, and he's warning about the effect it's having on kids.
Obviously this story isn't getting a fraction of the publicity his transition got, but good on him for speaking out.

Same here. I check them carefully. My daughters who have been supporting girls in Africa regularly for the last twenty years keep in touch with the charity to warn them not to go down that road. No money siphoned off for spurious nonsense rather than real support for health and education.

The aggressive man who calls himself Robyn and refused women entry to a movie they had a legal right to watch will have peaked a lot of people.

I give to no charities anymore, and this is precisely why, you just don't know who they will slyly give your money to without your permission.
Well, I do give to one, it's a disabled charity and so far has no weird anti women idealogy on its website, but I double check every couple of months.
