Almost overwhelmed by how horrendous this is. Thank you Genevieve for researching this and spreading awareness of a dark, ugly sickness that is seeping into society. A small takeaway is vindication of those parents who don’t put pictures of their children all over the internet. I’m raging for Molly Russell’s poor parents to have this additional indignity on their daughter’s memory.

I second that, I don’t know where I would get this information anywhere else. The sources of information that I grew up trusting just seem drunk asleep at the wheel on certain issues.

Thank you Genevieve for researching this. I don't know how you bear it to be honest. It seems that every day we learn something more repulsive about the link between fetishism, children and the transgender movement and it's so openly out there. Why is no one in power doing anything about this? The use of Molly Russell's photo is just too much. Her poor parents. Our society becomes ever sicker.

Yes- it is stomach churning, and we live in an age where ordinary people have to be investigative journalists because the people who are paid to do it won’t.

Stopped reading half way through. Makes the John Lewis ad seem all the more inappropriate than I first thought

Its actually too difficult to find the words to express how I feel about this. Deeply deeply sickened...to the core of my bones. Does anyone know how to report and complain about these aps to Google and Apple?

What do they care? They're predatory capitalists and if they could buy and sell slaves they would.

Many thanks to whomever on Glinner recommended this:

Gail Dines talking about porn -- it must have been about seven years ago -- made many of the same points as Graham, Genevieve, and others. Dines calls the society-wide grooming perp culture and it only seems to be getting worse. All eight of the men she interviewed in a Connecticut prison -- there for child pornography and child rape -- denied they were pedophiles; they just got deeper and deeper in this sickness.

And there we have it. Proof if any were needed that Jo Bartosch has hit the nail right on the head. Terrifying. THIS. THIS is the root of all of this. I have been saying so for months. Thank you for bringing it to light.

Again, this necessary and and important documenting of what is really happening out there is so important because whether you live in the US, Canada, UK, or Australia an average person cannot say without retaliation that many people under the trans umbrella are people with serious mental health issues which range from serious sexual disorders to depression.

If anyone can figure out how to send this stuff to Nicola Sturgeon in Scotland then please do so. She is the main culprit in perpetuating this whole horror show.

How is this not considered child pornography at the very least?

Now that Johnson has committed we need to put more pressure on the Conservatives as a vote winning ploy. Strangely since I saved this yesterday I can’t find it again in the Times!

Oh shit, am I going to have to vote Tory?

Well that was bleak. I feel like I need to break out the disinfectant after reading that. I can't imagine what it's like wading through it for research but thank you and I'm very glad you do.

It's also unbelievable that you have to - that child porn is openly available one of the biggest, most well-known internet platforms, and our pathetic, cowardly Government and media say nothing. Gender ideology has empowered sexual deviants like never before, all dressed up as "tolerance" and "inclusivity."

Thank you Genevieve. I know those who deal with online harms in any professional capacity (including moderation or viewing materials) can be affected and some have to step away and have heavy duty support, rest and counselling. I hope you are getting the best support that you can. Glinner and all of you who are neck-deep shining a light on this dire stuff need an island of sanity and care that you can escape to. I was warned in one role by a very mild mannered official that as soon as my name was made public I would start receiving harassment from the green ink brigade. As I was in no way senior enough to warrant that I thought she was exaggerating. She wasn't. Now it's the baby pink and blue ink brigade.

Anyone can build an app. Anyone. Newsflash: there are some not so nice people and they too can develop apps. Who exactly is world app regulator? We have the worst fraud figures because of the growth of pushing everyone online and dislocating services, communities and accountability. It feels like hit and run fraud as we're not keeping up with who is doing what or where. We're playing whackamole.

Instead of viewing this as Child Sexual Exploitation we are still pretending this is the free market working well and for the benefit of everyone are we? Are we Nick Clegg? No rebrand will change this or your new metarubbishverse. The police services across the UK are knocking on the doors of a few uppity women? They are being taken to court. Today someone suggested, about something unrelated, 'you're really battling this aren't you'. It's completely the wrong way round and in essence victim blaming. I said, I don't think that's the right framing, I'd prefer you to note that it is them battling me and I am standing up for myself, others, and against what is wrong and for what is clearly, objectively, right. Keep up the good fight.

Online is having huge consequences for young people. Although my opinion of the BBC is diminished from what it was, I do still have the app and I came across this article:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-58729321.amp

It is unusual and that both the victim and the rapist were interviewed- and Internet porn is only mentioned briefly, but the rapist admits it played a prominent role in what he did.
