Sorry to post on a different subject. But I was saddened to see Matt Taibbi throw Graham Linehan under the bus while defending Jesse Singal yesterday. Hoped for better from him.

Taibbi can't seem to help being an a-hole for very long. First, he bought into the Russia, Russia, Russia, trash then apparently did some reading and found out that all that crap about Russia's interfering in U.S. elections was bogus, so he changed his tune. But he's not thinking very clearly about gender ideology apparently, just going along with the wokerati. Ho hum, another man who can't be bothered to think.
I think we need more, starting with that tingle of quease, to a full blow hurl. Several degrees of puke along the way. The more of these delectable stories, and pictures, the more the need!
I feel a bit as I do now when I see a headline about an obviously male “woman” escaping sentence for rape or having violent child porn on their phone: “not him again” - before realising, nope, it’s another one.
I mean: there must be reddit mods who are NOT rapey know-nothing creeps, surely...
Oof. I know parodies sometimes sail close to the wind but that took a few passes to realise it was parody, despite those exact words written underneath. Brilliant but scary.
What I really don't understand is the sheer depths of the volumes of internet gunk. They know other people can read what they write and seek the attention and clicks yet it's some unreal protected safe space that they expose their dire behaviours to yet don't think they will get caught or held to account. They admit and revel in the abuse they commit yet are protected by platforms, even the police, 'human rights organisations' and political parties, with anyone warning or holding a counter view removed or censored. These are unpleasant and even criminal acts and who can stem the flood. It's built into the system/service/platform.

And 'explain', 'inform', 'educate' and 'ask for understanding' for their 'life choices' and 'human rights'. All this reframing incontinent, unstable, mentally ill or selfish acts. Oh they can all cis off. And their polycule liaison coordinators with PhDs in this bluffing guff.
Completely beggars belief that people like him are allowed a public forum at all ,while people who disagree get banned , threatened and cancelled simply for speaking the truth. The evil minds behind this are truly terrifying and civilization's at risk if they're not stopped .
