I’m not on twitter as I value what little bit of sanity I have left 😩 Bought a couple of prints a little while ago - she’s a bloody great artist. And it’s wonderful to see Magdalen Berns on my wall. As corny as it sounds, it gives me hope. Will buy another couple of prints today.

It's great that Women like Jennifer and Birdie have a platform to speak upon. These videos so help educate a lot of crowd. And ofocurse as long as we are on twitter , we do look out for Bullies. Pity Paisley blocked all the ones following Helen Staniland, so that he can carry his misdeeds in peace. Absolute Cowards.

I've had her in my Twitter timeline and I have already bought her calendar 2021. That will make me smile every time I open the front door! Thank you for giving her a well deserved puff.

It’s so heartening to hear from other working class women who are being persecuted for challenging the appalling behaviour, usually simply by speaking or in Birdy’s case drawing, we’ve been subjected to in order to appropriate everything from us for others benefit. The thought policing is the tip of the sneaky iceberg. Absolutely and totally lacking in any boundaries or respect for women as a class. I hope she realises she is speaking for so many others who literally cannot and will be targeted and abused, lied about, gaslit, (and as the published figures show coercively controlled, robbed, used, beaten, abused and killed for daring to have independent thought and speech) or saying “no” to men. Authorities appear to have no capacity whatsoever to recognise this oppression of women so their answer to our evident neverending appropriation of our property, use of our labour for free is to erase us (again) as a class without any provision for our needs at all or even consideration of. It’s the never ending witch-hunt and THEY all need to stand down and give us our space and autonomy back. After many years of this I fear for the well-being of younger women and their rights and treatment and giving I know how far these men will go and be allowed to go to illegal activity and beyond to shut women down and control us. The ONLY protection is wealth so really poor or exhausted women have little to no hope of fighting back. If lawyers are required and I personally think every women needs one to defend her rights as once you “misbehave” by refusing to pander to their enslaving demands or perversions (how could any woman respect that...and they know it) and in order they stay on top she is then up against a gaggle of them in positions of power they will thoughtlessly or happily (yes “gleefully” )misuse. Without.Batting. An eye. At. All. Unconscionable. I expect to see a need legal protection fund for brave young women like Birdy as our Governments and indeed societies are ALL seemingly incapable in their duty of care and obligations to women and children alike. In New Zealand the state stands in to take and traffic children from Mothers rather than provide for and support them so it’s very real and about fundamental rights and quite inhumane and still medieval here in terms of women’s rights sadly. But at least we aren’t routinely expected to dress up, get made up and totter about on high heels yet(mainly because it’s considered to expensive for our “owners” ) . The policing by others (even other women) on our personal lives is extraordinary so be warned that other women particularly professional women who see working class women as subservient are not allies to working class women and will act as enforcers to their male “superiors” as we are seeing in this country in particular with regard to abuse in care enquiry.. they are equally sadistic and sexually sadistic to the vulnerable. I have some and do love your work Birdy. Thank you.
