Why it always the rights of these men that is taken into consideration when they are in prison? What about the rights of female staff? Surely the prison services have a duty of care towards their female members of staff as well as to the prisoners? Or is it different in the US?

Lo and behold, significantly more mental breakdowns leading to inpatient treatments. Self ID prevents us from knowing how fast the female cohort of these disaster is growing. My critique:
I hope social services and social workers will resist the trans bullshit. Even the idea that extremely vulnerable and traumatised children should be used to forward the trans agenda, is abhorrent. What the fuck is wrong with these people? Some being asked to accept this suggestion will understand how inappropriate it is.
I hope they will have the courage to make that clear and refuse to cooperate with this authoritarian crap, and not be intimidated. But people are sleepwalking into this. A colleague was referring to working with a female therapist, then immediately 'corrected' herself and changed it to 'cis' female. It's insane, a kind of 'let me hold your coat while you mug me' kind of mentality. We can't allow this situation to remain.

Class actions require lawyers. Legal Aid has been choked off by the current government, and lawyers are expensive. Many prisoners are discharged onto the streets with no money and no home to go to. Reoffending is often the best bet to get them back into prison for a bed and food, and company.
There's a series on BBC Radio 4 which has had a lot of criticism for centring those who commit crimes but was interesting because of exactly what you describe. It's often hard to get inside the head of those who live a certain way or do certain things, and the why of it all but 'identity' came up. Marc talked of how it gave him one - he was part of something and a gang almost, who had each other's back when few others did. The parallels which how 'trans activists' operate struck me. The same bonding, belonging and sense of shared experience. He was also very young and vulnerable and got into trouble as a child. Respect and love.
