Thank you JL, mostly I am heartened by things moving, sometimes so quickly I get really hopeful. Then you read something else and realise that this cult has wound it's devils intestines so tightly into our major services, education, NHS, civil service and have private business by the short and curlies with threats, I truly despair. It's this underground evil that worries me. Even if Stonewall et al collapse, they have laid such time bombs and poison in the structure I can't see how we will rid ourselves of it all. Sorry to be rather negative, I do live in hope, esp with all the wonderful work and risks people take, that we will one day be able to breathe easily and release our imprisoned opinions. Have you watched the Jordan Peterson/Helen Joyce YouTube discussion... absolutely fascinating and brings such clarity to this mental illness!! Peterson is so insightful and sharp as a surgeons knife!! Talks like this keep me on the right side!! 👍🏻

I'm really keen to go to Brighton. It's a bit of a trek from Edinburgh though. I then thought about going to Leeds to support Lesbian Strength and then on to Brighton for Sunday.
If anyone else is planning to go or has any general advice let me know. I could drive but it is a long way although stopping off in Leeds could work. Or sharing the drive maybe.

When I tuned in to live coverage of the event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I couldn't hear much due to the TRAs. But someone said the speaker had told them she had a carry permit and was not afraid to use it to defend herself. Later, I tuned in again and you could hear everything the women were saying. I don't know if the cops moved the "protesters" away or what.
From the posts I saw on Twitter I got the impression the police had stepped in and sent the milky bar militia packing. (A couple of the women involved in the event were praising the police for their action in clearing away the protesters.)
When ,oh when ,is the wider world going to wake up to the horrors that these people are intent on imposing on us all. Tras are the most evil ,hate filled group of people I've ever seen in my lifetime and they give themselves away every time they issue a " statement ". Can't believe that these captured institutions are so cowardly that they bow the knee to their every obscene demand ,no matter how dangerous it is to women and children. It's becoming more and more obvious that being prevented, in any way, from abusing women and children is now seen as " transphobic" and some " judges " should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for their craven ,cowardly ,compliance to the horrifying demands of these perverts.!! I'm proud to call myself a Terf and a Transphobe because these people are truly, terrifyingly, inhuman in both their words and actions. The threats against Kellie Jay need to be taken seriously and I pray for the safety of all who attend. I live in Scotland and it's too far for me ,or I would go. Little kids in gentrified Brooklyn (meaning, hello, all of them white) with their mothers, who probably actually call themselves "birthing bodies" traipsing around the street, yucking it up and filming more loudly than the little kids. The negative-chested, I call them. Please, please, do not pass this on to your children! I consciously did not take note of the sexes of the children.
