Another brilliant report from JL. The prison news from CA is bleak as well as the grooming that is still celebrated at libraries. Again, nothing that I know historically or at present about the way in which women have been and still are treated has prepared me for the transgender movement. The combination of stealth, lavish funding, almost universal acceptance by Western institutions, and abusive activism is breathtaking in its reach and effects.

I feel exactly the same, Telos. It is absolutely astonishing. And so disheartening. All the rights, freedoms, opportunities, spaces etc we've fought so hard for decades, unravelling before our very eyes... Oh, and thank you so much for your kind words, by the way. Much appreciated.

Precise and to the point as Always from You JL.

Summary: Men can commit any crimes and declare themselves as Women to get away with it. That's what is happening and that's what we can all can see. I am frustrated more because of the Panderers declaring anything that hurt the feelings of the narcisstic men (yup they ain't Trans nor Women, just men identifying as women) , as hate speech. Wtaf ?

This all crap is so surreal. It's 2021 and the world is Fighting to coddle the males. I am actually gonna laugh out loud in hysteria.

On another note:

I haven't hear from You since forever JL. Hope 2021 is treating You better. Lots of Love Sister ❤️

Thank you, Gauri! I'm keeping my eye on Scotland as the For Women Scotland hearing (the judicial review to prevent the govt from redefining the word 'woman') is tomorrow ie Thursday. Fingers crossed...

Wow , see that's why we need You, it skipped my mind completely. Perhaps a reminder to all our friends is due. Fingers crossed and praying this madness is not considered in courts. I am still in shock we are living a day to see our unique existence and identifier being erased.

I am just the same, Gauri. I feel like I've spent the past 30 years labouring up a mountain and, when I was finally starting to believe the summit might be in sight, someone has suddenly just kicked me back down to the foothills.

When You put it like that , I can only imagine what you must have fought for. 30 years is almost half the life, JL. Thanks for taking these efforts for us Sister. Hope we will be able to contribute to this movement in whatever ways we can. Holding strong is the only option . Alternatives are pretty bad aren't they.

Could see this further oppression of women and its encouragement by males and their captives in the political class to meet their boundary violating imperative and need to dominate and control women, by any means, happening years ago. Women will be excluded from power or controlled by any means men feel necessary. I’m quite pleased we have some trans allies as they certainly are male.... and some are intellectually fierce. The state and elite will come for us all and shut us all down eventually and once people “get” how women and children have been enslaved, suffering abuse and neglect both individually and structurally perpetrated under our current power structures then change can occur in the world. Nothing else will do it. Clearly the Greens won’t be the political vehicle for any necessary change but at best simply maintaining existing power structures and at worse dragging us all further backwards in fundamental ways in terms of women’s human and legal rights and denying an oppressed majority’s material reality.

I'm really concerned about the (very quietly) proposed anti-conversion 'therapy' legislation that's been announced for my neck of the woods, to be honest. There's been quite the campaign of misinformation broadcast about it on the national broadcaster here, and I've no idea if this was deliberate or just the result of some well-meaning clod having gotten their wires crossed...

One thing's for sure, the intention isn't to prevent poor gay or lesbian people from being forced to endure cruel and pointless electro-shocks - it's to criminalize pointing out that young women who claim a 'non-binary' or other gender identities shouldn't rush to have irreversible procedures/treatments like radical mastectomies before considering the underlying reasons WHY they feel tempted to behave in a manner which could so easily be construed as a form of self-harm! If I have to witness yet another such sudden & ill-conceived procedure being absurdly celebrated as if it is "brave", I'm not sure I'll be able to conceal my horror. Doubly so if it's literally illegal to try to warn someone against it. I would seriously rather go to prison than remain silent should someone I care about declare their intention to permanently alter their body in any such a way.

I've made an appointment to speak to my local member about it and I'm frankly concerned that I might sound unhinged simply because so few people around here have ever even heard about these issues...

Oh well done Spinny. Yes, this ill-conceived legislation is very worrying. Of course, gay and lesbian youngster should be protected but forcing them down a pathway of transition IS conversion therapy. Maybe you could try pointing out to your local member some of the heartbreaking de-transition stories eg Keira Bell? Best of luck!

Do you mean me or Spinny, Gauri? I'm afraid I'm too easily distracted. And, as Groucho Marx once said, I could never join a club that would have me as a member! 😉

I tweeted to Caroline Lucas about the head tilt (@stranswidows). How she stays focused and does a good job in a nutty party like the Greens is truly wondrous.

lol at the phrase "openly transgender" - is there such a thing as closeted transgender AGPs? I guess you have to be openly because there's no way in hell of passing as a female.

No, I don't believe there is!

It would seem to me to be a matter only of degree.

I worked for a brief 6 months at Harmondsworth Immigration Removal Centre, the detention centre for asylum seekers, near to Heathrow airport. I saw files about some of the detainees with photo evidence of sexual practices of homosexual Pakistani men which looked very "posed". Presumably this man had had photographers follow him around as he got beat up by the Salvadorian police, etc. to build his dossier for an eventual asylum application as he was stopped at Immigration Control. The UK is an asylum paradise: as long as you don't crack in detention at Harmondsworth or Colnbrook you get Home Office officials who bend over backwards to find evidence - real evidence - of persecution for "being different". No one can find an answer. There are thousands of asylum seekers paid to do nothing while waiting for an interview, not in detention. With this new ground for asylum the UK will have an even more "colourful" set of misfits.
