Great and as per depressing round up JL! re Rosie - she made the classic mistake of apologising which of course was never going to be the end of it - I wish women stopped apologising and just prepared to fight the pathetic wankers as it always ends up the same way..

Thank you, Janey. (I know it's depressing but there is a bumper GNS on the way!)

It's reality..can't wait for GNS!

Apologising after you opened your home to the self-indulged shits is especially jarring.

its just futile - they are so self absorbed and self righteous you may as well just say I stand by what i said - and wtf is nun bernery?? i would have asked them to explain their delusions till they exploded cos it was always gonna end badly.

So New Zealand went for Self-ID, huh? Can't imagine what could possibly go wrong with this, except everything.

Remind me NEVER to go to New Zealand, not that I can even afford to go to Exeter....but YEESH!

And when the shit inevitably hits the fan, they'll move heaven and earth to suppress it.

Yes. Despite receiving 6,609 submissions of which 73% were opposed.

Discussion on the Bill was non-existent in our major media outlets. However, feel good stories about individual transgender people are routine.

So sorry - must be gutting for NZ feminists.

These horrific laws that have allowed male predators to basically do whatever they like to women are in theory actually shrinking the world for women - for places we can go, travel to, to feel safe in. It's reminding me of history when there were no public toilets for women, so it made it very difficult for women to go out.. but now we have them and it's not even safe to use them. I'm so angry and scared.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Riot Grrl. But please try and stay positive. Every day more and more people are waking up to this bullshit and 'peaking'. We're gaining ground and the pendulum will swing back. We have to keep fighting. Solidarity, sister. Stay strong xx

Thanks JL, sincerely. It really triggered me. I had a big cry. Now trying to soothe myself away from it with good music as always. xx

Ah nothing better than some good music. I hope you're feeling better. Rest assured there is a bumper Good News Supplement on the way! Take good care. We ARE winning xx

I'm still a bit shook, but on my way to better. Thanks again, sincerely. I feel so alone in this in my real life. It feels like I'm watching an avalanche, screaming for favourite people to get out of the way but none of them are listening. I bet that's how many of us have felt at times in this. Bring on the good news. Waah! xx

So, as I’m really, really trying to understand this, my thinking goes, an MP from any country, votes for self ID. Their sister, wife, mother or daughter happens to be in the wrong place, and something dreadful happens to that loved one, I’m wondering what they think might happen ?

Have they really thought this through ?

My other worry, is why did they want this ? Who put pressure on them, to even consider such a ludicrous action ?

Who gains from an open invitation for the perverts and the child rapists, to have a given access, with no question, to women and children ?

Expand full comment

If you listen to Jennifer Bilek's interview on The Green Flame (Deep Green Resistance), it makes everything clear, to me at least. Politicians don't think anything through! They just do what they're told and if they're lucky some nice perks come with their voting as they're told. Look around the planet: Do you see any politicians or the people who really run things thinking anything through?

Expand full comment

Sadly, only when it’s something that suits them, either politically or financially!

Expand full comment

But they're not thinking things through, they are doing what is expedient for them in the moment. We are a very shortsighted species and we are paying for our myopia.

I agree with you 💯

Like many others, I have to try and stay away from this, for my own personal mental health. None of this makes sense, yet on the ‘no one really takes notice of Twitter, yet everyone takes notice of Twitter’… the Transmaidens and Transtwerps, accuse anyone questioning anything as murderers and annihilation demanders… the plot has been truly lost !

I don't know if it's safe to oppose the elite who really run things. I've been reading a series on Covert Action Magazine about all the men who have likely been murdered by the U.S. government, including an American ambassador, a bio-warfare researcher, etc.

That’s majorly sinister !

Rosie Kay has every right to speak about her ordeal. The two dancers who wrote the "open letter" about how they think they were treated need to "get a life". She employed them. She invited them into her home. They decided they needed to make a "song and dance" about a couple of her comments and it costs her her company and her job. I am not a violent person, but some people need a "good kicking behind the bike shed" to bring them into the real world. To tell them that the whole world does not revolve about them and their feelings. It sickens me that the cottonwool crowd seem to have so much power over the people who should be sensible adults. It is OK TO SAY NO...

Police Scotland need to say NO too. If someone says they are a cat, will they record that? No, they won't. Therefore just because someone self IDs as make or female but has no GRC, then they should not be taking that as fact. Because the other side would be women do not have penises, therefore a man who self IDs can be taken as not having a penis and the crime is not rape. Rape figures drop even further... Women will be even less willing to report rape if it is not seen as rape but only as sexual assault. The torture of women under the HR Act 1998 increases, but will not be reported anywhere as civil society seems to always be on the side of trans folks. The Periodic Review of the UN Convention of Human Rights should include this breach but doesn't. Is there a group of academics/solicitors who can make sure it is included as Government is not listening to the rest of us.

This is for you, JL, a quote from Joseph Brodsky:

You Americans [fill in country of choice] are so naive. You think evil is going to come into your house wearing big black boots. It doesn't happen like that. Look at the language. It begins in the language.

Kenny MacAskill left the SNP (now known as the Scottish Nonce Party) and joined Alba. They do not support Self ID and are very strong on supporting Women's rights, which is why he has called Police Scotlands stance is 'Absurd'.

The SNP and Greens are determined to force through Self ID by the middle of next year - I can never vote for them again.

Not so long ago I spoke to the chap who owns, amongst other papers, The Sidmouth Herald, (I used to live in Sidmouth) about a similar story, where the male crackpot had committed a sex crime, and was referred to as 'she' throughout. I went a little doolallytat, to put it mildly...and when I'd finally finished erupting, he said, very calmly, that I wasn't to worry, as 'come the day' he'd be amongst the first to speak out about this, on the front page/s too, but for now, many papers are struggling, and any legal action against them by The Compo-Seeking Ones could shut them down entirely. He was as angry as me, perhaps even angrier, because he's forced to go along with this utter tripe, when he's raging at these men for what they're doing to women, to girls...and the insanity that has allowed them to become so dictatorial. When the press are finally given the go ahead to speak truth again, and it WILL happen, I'm sure...this will be a volcanic explosion, apart from The Guardian, of course, who will continue to trot out the views of seahorses and bitter little owens..

That's interesting. It would explain why it's the local papers that are the ones who include a photograph of these men to at least make it clear that we're being misled. It's so pathetic that they are forced to do this.
