Everyone’s dumbstruck that we’re still doing this after all these years.

Thanks JL. I’m sure it’s going to end one day and you can do a keep fit or wine making substack instead. I know which I’d go for. 😁

Why can't "Scout Pride" just mean that one takes pride in being a Scout?

It's time to take the word "pride" back. It was loaned out a few years ago, and its return to normal use is overdue.

Yes! What about the rest of us. Pride is a sin, isn't it? The most over-used term in the last 10 years. I'm PROUD to be a gender-critical womanly female.

While it’s never easy , that was a hard read this week , I don’t know how you do it JL

That was a heavy duty read reminiscent of the early days of the fightback - pretty depressing stuff.

Fortunately we also have positives these days to keep us motivated.

It's a relentless onslaught but we must double down in our opposition to it.

Thank you JL for all your efforts. 💜

There's no way to fix scouting. Now it's leaped out of the pedo frying pan into the trans fire.

Thanks as ever, JL.

Many, many moons ago I was a patrol leader in the Scouts. We used to play games like British Bulldog. If we had been asked to play Pronoun Pairs there would have been a mass rebellion.

My advice to parents: get your children out of the Scouts!!!

I appreciate that some local groups may not be 'infected' yet but when this is the national policy!!!???

To be fair to Scouts, they have managed to produce the only training I’ve seen that accurately states the equality act. This makes them less captured than most large employers. It’s largely possible to ignore the guff mentioned above if your district plays no part in it. I’ve also viewed them as better at this than Guiding, who seem to push it so much more heavily. I’d have to stop volunteering if the above came to our area.

My son was a cub scout. I was thrilled that he enjoyed it so much. My husband joked that, "you know what they say about scoutmasters, nudge nudge". Then, some years later, one of the troop leaders - my favourite - was up in Court for kiddie fiddling! OK, most of them are normal guys, I know, but I have never trusted the organisation since.

My boys were both scouts and I , many moons ago now had no concerns , now little petal is in the brownies and I do have concerns , unfounded as yet I’m thankful to say

Sources say Forest Harader died in a self-inflicted car crash (the "injury" that her family reported).

It used to be Boy Scouts didn’t it? What happened?

Oh that’s surprising to me. I was a kid in the early eighties and remember it being Boy Scouts. I had no idea girls were allowed in. I know it’s not something I would’ve wanted to do at that age. I suppose if you were a tomboy and all your friends were boys you might.

It must be terrifying to be GC in Germany at the moment. Much as I hate what’s happening here, at least I only get called names and sworn at when I state my views.

No doubt that "pride" coach will be late like the rest of the train. It would be a good idea for these operators to make their trains run on time, and not charge eye-watering fares for it. I'm not holding my breath, and certainly not "training it" this Xmas - I've had enough of this annual farce.

It’s exactly this. It’s giving predatory males the red light.

I have occasionally had a day of visibility for an animal. Why not?

Here is Red tailed Hawk Day of Visibility 😀 ( last piece)
