The netball picture of Mouncey is so powerful. Those women are oppressed by their own religion/culture which mandates their wearing of headscarves, even when competing in sport. And by Western culture which doesn't protect them from competing against biological men.

Quite so. I read an article in which he was quoted, sneering at the women who'd refused to share a changing room with him. He had no empathy or respect whatsoever. His ego & sense of entitlement must be visible from space.

I also winced/felt slightly sick at how dangerous it looks for those women in both photos. Could end in serious injury . . . I'd feel like I were facing down a bull if that came charging at me!

A very good (and much younger) friend plays rugby union at quite a high level. Although she plays with other women, she frequently sustains cuts, grazes & bruises. And she's had a couple of broken bones. She's pretty tough but were she to compete in a contact sport against someone like Mouncey, she'd end up in Casualty. My blood runs cold at the thought of guys like him being allowed to literally trample all over women.

Very well, I'll assume merely that when playing sport, wearing a head scarf is not a choice made in order to help sporting performance.

It could.

Ugh. That Mouncey guy. I've read about him before--he seems like a real jerk. Maybe he and American 'Gabrielle' Ludwig can start their own sports team for giants and leave women alone.

I doubt they'd be interested. In the same way that the lesbians with penises never ever want to date any of the other lesbians with penises... At 31 Mouncey's professional AF career would be pretty much over anyway. And yet he's still determined to muscle his way in (pun intended) to a women's team.

I would like to post here on 19th January about my suspension from Twitter for 12 hours from 9.30 today. If you want to remove my comment that's OK. I just would like you to be notified about it.

I wrote a few days ago (I can no longer check!) "@NWYoungLab Length of your T thread is in inverse proportion to common sense in it. Transwomen are biological men who suffer from mental disorder GD (S25 GRA). You are falling prey to "gender grievances" of ultra-sensitive trans activists. Look at the money pushing these destructive beliefs"

Twitter asserts that I have infringed the following "hateful conduct": You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.

I have not infringed any of these.  Every sentence is true.  (1) This person posted dozens of linked Tweets of rambling nonsense (2) The GRA states in S25 that GD is a "disorder" - that is UK law (3) I am expressing my reasonable belief that he is under the influence of Trans activists who are extraordinarily sensitive. There was no harrassment, as this is the first and will be the only time that I express myself to him in particular (4) The money is immense: See Jennifer Bilek https://thefederalist.com/2018/02/20/rich-white-men-institutionalizing-transgender-ideology/   and James Kirkup: https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/the-document-that-reveals-the-remarkable-tactics-of-trans-lobbyists

Twitter limits the number of words AND bars certain words in the "box" to appeal. I wrote 29 words:

“The 4 sentences of my post:

- fair comment

- UK law correctly stated

- Reasonable view held by many in MSM and moderately stated

- Fair comment

Space?”

I needed more space to cover the issues.

I made a further appeal in another part of Twitter's website:

"My account @STranswidows was recently suspended for 12 hours, at the behest of @NWYoungLab. Twitter does not provide enough space to refute carefully the wrongful accusations. I submitted my appeal which Twitter limited to just 29 words. The moderator could not properly assess the grounds for my appeal and rejected it because he had no proper basis for assessment. In any event I hold that every part of my Tweet was moderate and within the boundaries of fair comment and reasonable belief of normal people. I know now that I addressed the youth wing of the Labour Party in the NW of the UK. I have just learned that they have passed a motion which would surprise the majority of the UK population to effectively "hunt down" any comments on Twitter with which they disagree. This is not conducive to fair discussion. Finally please note that in UK law "gender" and "gender identity" are not protected characteristics, and this matter has been raised before with Twitter moderators. When is Twitter going to address UK law in the UK? The UK protected characteristics in this area are (1) sex and (2) gender reassignment. Please forward my complaint to your UK legal team. Thank you.
