Hello lovely readers. Here are a few of this week’s good news stories from the trenches of the gender war.
They Did It!
A copy of Helen Joyce’s book, Trans: When Ideology Meets Reality, has been sent to every MP in Westminster, every MSP in Holyrood, every MS in Cardiff and 200 other ‘significant people’. Bravo, Sex Matters!
LGB Alliance In Conference
The LGB Alliance had a stand at the Conservative Party conference in Manchester this week.
They were welcomed very warmly and found support in some likely and some not-so likely quarters.
LGB Alliance founder, Bev Jackson, appeared on GB News from the conference to talk about the charity and its work.
“We represent a very large body of opinion among LGB people and a lot of trans people as well… same sex orientation is about sex, it’s not about how someone identifies.”
Courageous Keira
Keira Bell is seeking permission to appeal to the Supreme Court.

Vindication For Abigail Shrier
Two leading clinicians in the field of transgender medicine have spoken out about the prescribing of puberty blockers and the treatment of gender dysphoric children.
Dr. Marci Bowers is a world-renowned gender surgeon who famously performed Jazz Jennings’ vaginoplasty and Erica Anderson is a clinical psychologist at the University of California San Francisco’s Child and Adolescent Gender Clinic.
In interviews with Abigail Shrier both have condemned the ‘affirmative’ model, the ‘sloppy healthcare’ and the suppression of dissenting voices within their field.
This really is big news, as Abigail Shrier points out:
“For the first time in the US top gender medical providers collectively acknowledged four facts: early puberty blockade can lead to significant surgical complication and also permanent sexual dysfunction; peer and social media influence do seem to play a role in encouraging the current, unprecedented spike in transgender identification by teen girls; and the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) – of which both Bowers and Anderson are board members – has been excluding doctors who question current medical protocols to its detriment.”
Wheels Also Coming Off Down Under
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists has changed its position on gender dysphoria.
Its new position statement stresses the importance of a mental health evaluation for people with gender dysphoria — in particular for children and adolescents — before any firm decisions are made on treatment.
"There is a paucity of quality evidence on the outcomes of those presenting with gender dysphoria. In particular, there is a need for better evidence in relation to outcomes for children and young people.”
Charity Says “No Thank You” To Trans Bullies
A pregnancy charity has rejected the efforts of trans activists to prevent it from using the word ‘woman’.
The British Pregnancy Advice Service (BPAS) has publicly stated that it will not remove sex-based language from its service and materials, despite pressure from trans lobby groups such as Stonewall. “We will continue to use the word ‘women’ over ‘people’ so we can continue to campaign effectively for reproductive rights.”
Is Auntie Beeb Leaving The Sinking Ship?
According to reports, the BBC is leaving Stonewall’s diversity champions scheme over fears it could damage impartiality.
Fingers crossed!
Support For Docstock
After the horrendous attack on Professor Kathleen Stock this week, the subsequent outpouring of support for her has been extremely heartening.
The University of Sussex has decried attempts to hound her out of her job there.
Vice Chancellor, Adam Tickell, told BBC News "It's absolutely clear that all of our staff have an untrammelled right to say and believe what they think, so we take it very seriously if people try to prevent that right from being exercised."
Equalities Minister, Kemi Badenoch, praised the university for supporting Professor Stock, stating, “Robust academic debate is a hallmark of a civilised society”.
Baroness Faulkner, head of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, described the attacks on Professor Stock as ‘disgraceful’.
“University is not a place where people bully and harass professionals and berate institutions because they disagree with someone’s entirely lawful, expert views. Other institutions faced with the same problems should follow Sussex University’s lead.”
Women and Equality Minister, Liz Truss, echoed Baroness Faulkner’s support, commenting, “No one should be targeted and harassed simply for holding an opinion”.
Hear Me Roar
Dinosaurs were seen on the streets of central London this week, with protests at The Lancet and Labour Party HQs to let those within know that women won’t wheesht.
Stonewall wanting to ban conversion therapy is the biggest sleight of hand yet; you instantly think GAY conversion therapy and who wouldn't be opposed to banning that?
That will hoodwink all of the uninitiated, as it did myself before I became familiar with their con.
Doc Stock comes across as so calm, kind and tolerant. She bends over backwards to be inclusive and even uses preferred pronouns, yet she’s being portrayed as some kind of Nazi. It’s appalling what’s happening to her.
