The way in which the Port Townsend mayor is taking the side of the brownshirts makes my blood run cold. "Trans and cis-allies alike spoke love & support."
The people of Port Townsend -- I believe the newspaper's report was actually accurate -- need to recall this idiot. He's the poster boy for the do-nothing cops who also need to be shown the door. And this is why I say women need to go to these demonstrations armed with pepper spray.

We need more GC people in posiitons of authority.
Also, Elaine Millar is a queen in the true sense and people who shun her or try to cancel her are not wortha fraction of what she is. She is trying to make the lot of women better and her field is a prime example of why sex does matter.

But do things have to get worse before they get better? "Trans Rights" seem to have become a horrible excuse for violent misogyny, especially towards older women.
Take heart, Artemisia! There is a Good News Supplement on the way. Yes, it's a terrible and very distressing state of affairs. But it makes my heart soar to see women organising, fighting back, rolling up our sleeves up... And remember there are some fine men who've stepped up to be our allies. Take heart & stay positive! x

I was surprised at how long ago the rules changed in the LPGA. At the time there so little scientific information available about the reduction of testosterone etc. But now there is no denying that males retain a huge advantage, even after transition. The LPGA gave no excuse for admitting males any more.
When will people wake up to the fact that the T can be shysters like anyone else in the world? In fact, because there’s a higher number of narcissists amongst those who profess a T identity, there’s likely to be even more shysters amongst them.
In the light of that grim situation in Australia, it's worth mentioning that Liz Truss first set out the plan to ban gender "conversion therapy," although (in line with everything else she used to support) she might or might not still be in favour of it.
Despite her woeful "Eeh I'm from Yorkshire me and I call a man a man" shtick, she can't necessarily be trusted to stand up to pressure from the various groups who have managed to brand safeguarding as "conversion therapy." Theresa May was and still is committed to banning safeguarding for gender dysphoria cases. Truss will, if it's electorally advantageous to her, do the same.
The Conservatives (especially Braverman, Badenoch and Cates) have been better than Labour on the gender issue but that's not saying much as Labour have been utterly useless. A tremendous amount of damage has been allowed to go ahead on the Conservative Government's watch.
There's absolutely no guarantee that the disastrous law in Australia won't come into force here. Liz Truss, for all her dismal posturing, won't necessarily be any less useless than Theresa May.
A nine year sentence would mean Crocker is on the sex offenders register for life. It seems astonishing to me that TikTok are fine with that, but then I already know the safeguarding standards of social media companies are next to zero.
I'll also stake real money that the terrible Online Safety Bill doesn't even address this issue.

Bring this up in divorce court at your own peril. In the UK, it seems the marriage is annulled at the time of "identification," a great protection of women. In the States, we have no such protection.
I advise to focus on the health risks, the strokes, dementia, liver failure and joint damage. Get the doctors to do their jobs. Drag, cross-dressing, songs, chants and back-at-yous will, in the end, have little value in protecting children, mothers and society. I've gone back to mind-body prayer, a focus on the collateral beauty in the natural world. Good on you, Graham Linehan, for crawling out onto my limb a few years ago.

Nothing short of an avalanche of successful lawsuits is going to turn the tide on this shit. We'll all die of old age waiting for people to wake up. I've heard the medical scandal here being described as the "new Thalidomide" but it's not, doctors prescribed that drug in good faith. That's not what is happening here, this is Frankenstein's monster for the 21st century. Doctors must know deep down that "gender affirmation" surgery is a ruinous, life-destroying, totally unnecessary waste. Big Pharma has no morals whatsoever, so unless they're getting sued to kingdom come, nothing is going to change.
