I just love these Good News editions! It sends my spirits soaring to know that more and more, people feel freer to say 2+2=4, and to refuse to say 2+2=5! Thank you, JL!!

Thanks JL. I needed this today after the horror of an email from the Chartered Management Institute pushing gender ideology on manager and leaders around the globe. The absolutley worst bit from their article was the following quote:

“Right now it’s an unkind world and it’s dangerous to be trans or non-binary in the UK,” says Rachel. “In the UK, when I see pronouns in a signature box or on their social media, I see possibly a trans or non-binary person, an ally, or a friend, I feel safe with that person.”

Dangerous to be trans or non-binary in the UK? Really? Where's the evidence? I'd say it's more dangerous to be a woman and GC at the moment with people like Reyes called for the murder of Terfs. I am so angry that they are implying that GC people are potentially not safe, that those who choose not to virtue signal their pronouns may not be an LGB ally, or be unsafe for them or trans people. I mean no harm to anyone. Go be who you want to be, just stop denying sex based reality and the integrity of womanhood!

The old message that pronouns in signatures were to protect people from being misgendered has pretty much gone out the window. This is employers asking employees to make a political statement, to show that you're an ally.

To make an analogy, there have been tribunal cases over workers prohibited from wearing religious symbols. Could you imagine an employer with strong religious beliefs asking all staff to wear a crucifix, so that Christians know they're dealing with an ally?

I don't think there are very many brains in dick - far too often, that's the problem; I blame women for leading their owners astray ... 😉

But to underline your point and ICYMI, you might "enjoy" Creasy's May 27th tweet in response to one by Jon Pike, a "senior lecturer in philosophy" at the UK's Open University:

https://twitter.com/stellacreasy/status/1530324404605014016

Pike's article at The Critic in response to Creasy's tweet, and a salient and cogent quote therefrom, although I think there are a few (fatal) flaws in Pike's "homeostatic property cluster" argument:

"But I think that what Creasy is doing — whether she realises it or not — is re-engineering the concept 'female'. And I think this is a mistake."

https://thecritic.co.uk/language-truth-and-logic/

Not resting satisfied with "re-engineering" the concept "woman", the transloonie nutcases, charlatans, grifters, and their ilk - their "useful", and useless idiots like Creasy - seem bound and determined to try doing likewise with "female". But as Pike argues or suggests, they've probably - one hopes - bitten off far more than they can chew since "female" is a term of solid biological provenance, authenticity and credibility if not veneration, the definition for which holds across literally millions of sexually-reproducing species.

As Helen Joyce once succintly and pointedly put it, even if she, in part, snatched defeat from the jaws of victory (classes are abstractions and can't do anything themselves):

“The problem is that ‘female’ is not something you can identify as. It’s a word with an objective definition that holds right across all of biology, and hardly any of the things it refers to are capable of identifying as anything. It means: ‘of or denoting the sex class that produces large gametes,’ ….”

Great reply, thank you. Although, to be honest, I was making a straight up silly joke at Stella Crazy's idea that women can have a penis and could only think that her own appendage must be located inside her head.

Thank you. A very complex issue that takes a great deal of time and effort to separate the wheat and chaff of. Not at all sure that I've really managed to do much if anything along the line of that, but it seems there are important principles that are essential to that process. Which I think more people should be aware of and who generally are not.

But jokes - silly or not - often provide something in the way of useful insights. But wasn't quite sure whether you meant something along the line of "dick all" which may have something in the way of different connotations from "dick":

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/dick_all

Kind of amusing that there are often significant differences between American and British connotations of the same words - "fanny" for example as this article gives some amusing evidence of:

https://sweetfa.substack.com/p/language-matters?s=r

Though a bit disconcerting that the author - Fraser Anderson - rather desperately insists that sex and gender refer to identical traits:

"Gender means sex and sex means gender. The semantics around trying to attribute other meaning is invariably clear obfuscation on behalf of adherents of post-modernist ontological metaphysics and the gender identity nonsense."

https://sweetfa.substack.com/p/language-matters/comment/6817605?s=r

Something that seems to characterize the whole transgender clusterfuck is that pretty much everyone and their cats, dogs, and gerbils has quite contradictory and inconsistent defintions for both sex and gender, the latter in particular. Given that, it is maybe not surprising that pretty much everyone is riding madly off in all directions. Not conducive to much in the way of progress - and it's mostly autistic and dysphoric children who suffer most thereby.

The gender identity lobby disingenuously proposes a law against misogyny in the UK that conflates sex with gender (and, therefore gender identity), thereby privileging female-identifying males. This law would also, most likely, paradoxically criminalize women speaking out in favor of female sex-based rights.

And, so, a law that on face value appears to diminish misogyny, actually causes it to grow.

We've seen the gender identity lobby use this same tactic again and again...force team trans-identifying people (and, especially trans-identifying males) with vulnerable constituencies, throw a lot of money and support at the force teamed project (making it hard for members of that constituency to question the project), and then go forward trampling over the needs, agency, and voice of that consituency..

The gender identity lobby? How about the "bait and switch" lobby? Or, the Trojan Horse" lobby? Or, even the "Cuckoo's Nest" lobby?

The cuckoo IS the bird that lays its eggs in other birds' nests? Its eggs hatch, and the Cuckoo chicks eventually push the other bird's chicks out of the nest to die, while taking sustenance from their parents.

The other "birds" has the gender identity Cuckoo force teamed with and negatively impacted?

▪️Classic transsexuals with actual gender dysphoria

▪️Intersex people

▪️Black people

▪️Indigenous people

▪️Homosexual people

▪️And, last but certainly not least...girls and women.

I loathe this lobby more and more every day.

Yes, that's how they're doing it in Canada. Under the cloak of protecting women against misogynist abuse, they're sneaking in trans as 'women' to be protected from GC women's attack. There's always a way to twist the law to your advantage if you're a privileged bloke.

"How transgender inclusion leads to female exclusion" fairplayforwomen.com

Today, I happened upon the above mentioned article from the wonderful FairPlayforWomen web site. National governing bodies are not taking account of how many thousands of males are claiming a female 'gender identity' and participation within women's teams.

This article points out that this is not being reported as only those who are there know, and these individuals present have to keep quiet for feat of the usual repercussions of being called a 'transphobe'. The impact on female community sports is very damaging and the article lists incidents occurring in; Cycling (Breeze Rides), Hockey, Cricket, Walking Football, Football, Junior Football, Rugby Judo, and Netball. The presence of just one biological male within these COMMUNITY TEAM BASED SPORTS is sufficient to undermine the whole game, and the potential for causing serious harm and damage to any of the females participating in these sports is off the scale. A truly horrific scandal

Thank you for posting this. Sports did wonders for my strength, confidence and social skills. It's a strange kind of grief I feel that so many of these highly selfish men are demanding access to our spaces like this. It will put women and girls off for life. It's not mixed teams they are joining and the whole culture around this is continually threatening us to stay silent about it. Losing Uni places, jobs or risking being chucked out of groups. The details of the physical harm done to women and girls is shocking. Stopping older women from exercising is so damn short sighted. If any of those have local authority or national funding they need to have it withdrawn. We need severe penalties for this clowning about.

The Judo really struck me and how you can have the physical difference stated, and that being the reason for 'ladies' sessions, training or courses yet then stoking the active cognitive dissonance to ignore that. 'Nobody mentioned the 6ft, 16st transwoman on the course, who went on to immediately break the finger of one woman, dislocate the shoulder of another and throw my daughter around the mat like a terrier with a rat in its mouth. My daughter gave up Judo that day.'

All Government sports funding usually has some element of what it will do to promote the sport to, and help the local community. It's far more important than 'just' elite sport and is cradle to grave.

All the recent coverage of 'Emily' Bridges' 'fears' and the articles written about her supposed fragility and risks faced is utterly ludicrous. Their feelings trump our reality every single day. Our physical health is genuinely at risk, and what the hell do they think this does to our mental health?

I suspect that Lia is going to wait for an opportune moment to declare that he's had a good think about things, and decided he's fine with being a bloke after all.

I understand he has no desire to go in for any affirming surgery...so keeping the cock-and-balls for starters - reports indicate he likes waving these around.

He must be struggling to find supporters; the TRA's know that he is 'peaking the world' and he's managing to peak at a rate only Riley Dennis has got close to.

So perhaps, and certainly before the mid-term elections in November, I wouldn't be surprised if Lia does the 'reverse ferret' thing. Indeed he might even come over to the GC side and claim the entire adventure was an effort to expose the absurdity of the trans movement. A follow-up book and speaking tours would be pretty lucrative.
