All of this melts my brain. How TAF did we get to this point and why are so many capitulating so quickly and without any pushback? As a friend of mine used to say “it kettles my swede!” It’s like all the lads who were unpopular through school and could never get a girl to look at them have embarked on some twisted revenge crusade. I would speak out and post on social media more about this but I’m in the tricky position of my niece coming out as trans a few years ago and she is not militant or an activist. I have to refer to her as my nephew when pushed and try to get around the pronouns issue by using her name instead. Thankfully she uses her nickname so that was a bullet I managed to dodge. Her Mum and Dad fell over like a cheap pack of cards but, having read Abigail Shrier’s “Irreversible Damage” I’m convinced it was an over reaction to a undiagnosed MH condition (the most likely condition being EUPD which, incidentally, I also have), being bullied at school by other girls for being different e.g. short hair, retro cutting-edge fashion etc, having a serious spinal malformation which required drastic surgery, and also possibly being a lesbian. But, of course, there are no lesbians now, unless they have a cock. Reading the intro to Shrier’s book was like a tick-box list for my niece. She went through the Tavistock, is on testosterone, recently had top surgery, and I’m just praying that that is as far as it will go. A big thank you to you Graham (if I may) for all you have done and endured to try and highlight what is actually going on.

Thanks JL. Barclays is run by big boys for big tits. In 2021 their sex pay gap widened. No surprise they think an advert where a male wants a loan for "big tits" is appropriate.

"BBC RADIO DERBY: A man who works for Derbyshire police has been charged with filming children in public changing rooms amongst numerous other sexual offences."

Well, that explains why the police were summoned to Posie's place to issue her the stern warning that she was being - check notes - "untoward pedophiles".

It was out of professional courtesy, apparently.

Stonewall list needs to go to Liz Truss- why on earth are public funded organisations still on it?

Does anyone know the best bank for *not* supporting gender identity/ queer theory please? I want to move my three accounts from Barclays. Didn’t know they were on that list, thanks JL

founding

I moved to Starling last year from Barclays as their adverts featuring Sionice telling me I didn’t need to understand issues, I just needed to be an ally, were the final straw. Starling was founded by a woman (Anne Boden) and while they’ve done one blog on supporting Pride which discussed the Progress flag (eye roll) that seems to be it - it generally doesn’t seem to be interested in ideology, just banking, which is sort of what you want from a bank.

I will watch replies with great interest. HMG should have zero to do with a literally paedophile inspired movement that calls itself 'genderqueer'.

Do you have access to credit unions? I would never keep what money I have in any bank, but I have a decent credit union who I cannot imagine promoting a man saving for big tits.

Expand full comment

We do and lots of people rave about them but they aren’t that great here as I understand it. Not like banking as such. I think just save and borrow. I could be wrong though…

I had to switch credit unions because the one I used started gobbling up other CUs (just like a bank) and didn't offer good service. I can't think of why I would want to do anything other than have a checking account, savings accounts, and retirement accounts. CUs in the U.S. call savings accounts share accounts and checking accounts draft accounts. And there should be annual membership meetings where you can put in your two cents.

Agree, Credit Unions are the peoples bank

Wouldn't that make a great commercial. Someone looking for somewhere to open an account. Asks the bank manager "Do you promote men saving for big tits?"

A simple "No" in response would be a great advert for Barclays and Halifax customers to know where to take their money.

Banks are there, or should be there to deal with their customers finances, arranging loans and mortgages, etc, and fucking them over sometimes, of course. They aren't there to give morality lessons or promote an ideology that has nothing whatsoever to do with their role or function.

Similarly, supermarkets are there to sell products to us, not an ideology, but it doesn't deter them from hanging multiple flags in Pride and trans colours in their isles. The same applies to all businesses and organisations that deal with people generally, not specific groups. Such as the police or transport system, for example, but they still do it, regardless that it's inappropriate, divisive and damaging.

Ultimately, all of this leads to people being demarcated as compliant, as allies or opponents. But with the expectation or hope that most won't notice, or will ignore it and maintain a neutrality because they've decided it has nothing to do with them, so they're unaffected. This isn't true, it's clear that virtually everyone is affected. Those responsible for this aren't interested in getting anyone's cooperation or agreement or even their opinion, unless it's approval.

It's wonderful that resistance against this is happening, and it needs to increase and keep happening until this ceases.

Funnily enough my local pharmacy used to have a transgender assistant with a big namebadge, 'Chloe' and on the counter a very prominent laminated A4 poster in huge letters 'Disrespect towards our staff will not be tolerated'. Of course, completely agree. I was there the other night (I go regularly to get my medication) and thinking I hadn't seen Chloe for a while. Noticed that the poster was gone. Seems that it is only disrespect towards certain categories of staff which won't be tolerated!! Now he's gone, so has the notice!!

I wonder if that account holder at Barclays knows that the "big tits" have to be replaced every 10 years? My ex-husband (Neddy, in my memoir) must be on breast implants number 3, if he's following the plastic surgeon's protocol. They appear to be a few inches larger every time.

Also important to point out, the woman who defended lesbians in Munster was likely vulnerable to the death blows of her male attacker because she is a woman. Whether she thought so or not. Have the hormones pushers given thought to the facts about how testosterone, in the female system, influences risk taking behavior? Bless her and her family, and I hope the attacker is put away for life.

I don't remember that one!

I worked with an assistant teacher who had 3 successive breast implant operations, (3 summers in a row), the last made her look like Barbie/Dolly. Didn't fit on her frame. She was always cold, trying to get the custodian's attention to turn up the furnace. We older teachers wanted to lock her out when she went on one of her "not allowed" smoking breaks.

I did. She had a fit and pounded on the door like a 3 year old. Later, I reported her for the child abuse I witnessed. It's all of a piece, as my mother used to say.

A serial pedophile. Sexually assaulting babies. But the ‘trans’ card magically waves away the sins of the world. What does this tell us? Not only that ‘trans’ provides refuge for perversion, but that ‘trans’ ideologues hate children deeply. So deeply. Not only do they target them relentlessly in school, and even in library story hours, but they regularly give free rein to pedophiles to continue their hunt for child flesh. How much more obvious does it have to be that ‘transgenderism’ is a woman-hating, child-hating cult. Its only ‘winners’ are unethical disturbed men. Thieves, all of them thieves. Stealing children’s bodily integrity, stealing prizes and awards, stealing social stability, stealing teenage psyches, stealing family stability, stealing definitions, stealing safeguarding of the vulnerable, stealing science, stealing trust on a grand scale. All of this institutionally sanctioned identity theft is leaving multiple thousands -- if not millions -- of victims in its insane trail. It will take decades to clean up the mess, and even then, there will still remain its traumatized victims. And all of this in the name of 'love' and 'acceptance' and 'inclusion' and 'diversity'. We need a Great Reckoning for the spread of the Big Lie that a man can be a woman.

What I have realized about all too many men is that they have no feeling for others. I realized my husband had no feeling for me, our animals, plants. It takes feeling for other life forms to want to treat them tenderly, with love and care. Oh, yes, men will say I love you, but that's not what I mean. I think about my dependents even when I can't see them. Plants respond differently to those who have feeling for them rather those who don't. Way too many boys are not raised with this ability to feel for anyone outside themselves.

Before the details about the killer became known, though, queer and trans rights activists were trying to put the blame on "TERFs" because those allegedly contribute to a climate of anti-trans hate.

The Swansea story at the end underlined why 'war' is used. I regard feminism as toxic and batty, but denial of feminists' democratic right to associate is a threat to democracy everywhere. 'Evil only triumphs if good people do nothing' is the biggest load of codswallop I've ever heard. 'Good people' don't do nothing in the face of such evil, hellbound moral pygmies do.

Expand full comment

While you are entitled to your opinion, I disagree that feminism is "toxic and batty". Without feminism, so many of the things that young women take for granted like work, a social life, access to healthcare and access to democracy would not be there especially in the UK. Feminism is a genuine desire to level the playing field for women so we can contribute to the societies we live in. Nothing about my feminism is toxic or "batty". Maybe you should e-think how you write as it is bordering on misogynistic and racist.

Expand full comment

Mandy, you were doing so well, and then you proved my point with your last sentence. On both fronts! 'Trans' is a gender ideology like feminism (most feminists support it) and uses the same thought police hate tactics. If you try to thought crime people you reveal the moral bankruptcy of your thinking. I shall refrain from responding if you want to come back because this could easily get unweildly and counter-productive when what we agree on is children shouldn't be mutilated and women's spaces should be for women not cocks in frocks.

Expand full comment

This surely depends on which chapter (wave) of feminism we're speaking of. The third wave seems to have gone "batty" turned in on itself and is quite capable of trashing women's rights, but the first two were absolutely necessary and appropriate vehicles of social reform. Second wave feminism most certainly is not a "gender ideology" one of it's principal goals was to rid the world of harmful gender stereotypes. Conversely the appeal of transgenderism is utterly dependent on retaining and developing gender stereotypes. Otherwise yes, we can agree that this wave of feminism has been captured and lost it's way. The wonderful Kelly Jay Kean has started to call herself a femalist.

To your fellow feminists I say, 'this is what sanity looks like'.

There's plenty of anti-male stereotyping in feminism, and KJK comes out with it, but when one is dealing with such a force of nature against against TRA evil, how easily is the rough with the smooth taken.

At the end of the day, a united front is the best way to take LGBTQ down, and no to child grooming and yes to women's safe spaces is something the vast majority can get behind.

Much the same with Matt Walsh. There's plenty of bigoted conservative anti feminist stereotyping in the man's brain but when it comes to to the trans issue he's spot on. I'll filter out the rough as much as possible but definitely take the smooth.

Feminism is what biological women make it. Like any other movement, there will be a mix of views but I don't believe that feminism itself is toxic. There maybe women in the movement who have toxic views but we cannot throw out a whole movement on the basis that some women let biological men who present as women think they can be feminists too.
