Monday 30th May - ‘Both Sides’ #1
THE TELEGRAPH: The Education Secretary, Nadhim Zahawi, was ambushed by student trans activists while visiting the University of Warwick.
Zahawi was invited to speak to students by Warwick University’s Conservative Association. This invitation prompted an attempt to have him no-platformed by Warwick Pride, the student union’s LGBTQUIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Undefined, Asexual/Aromantic+) society. The group wrote an open letter and posted statements on social media claiming that Zahawi ‘plays a significant role in institutionalised transphobia’ and that his presence on campus ‘clearly violates SU by-laws on equality and diversity’.
These hyperbolic allegations were made in response to Zahawi stating that the word ‘woman’ is defined as ‘adult human female’ (a ‘common transphobic dog whistle’, according to Warwick Pride) and his support for feminist academic, Professor Kathleen Stock.
When their attempts to prevent his visit failed, the activists tried to ambush the members-only event at which Zahawi was speaking. About 30 students - some carrying placards and trans flags, some wearing masks - gathered outside the lecture hall chanting ‘Tory scum’ and ‘Zahawi is a transphobe’. An eyewitness reported that they were also banging on the doors and ‘blasting music’, as evidenced by video footage of the protest.
The Daily Mail reported that one of the student activists involved in the protest was Joe Cooper, the son Labour MP, Yvette Cooper, and former Labour MP, Ed Balls.
On leaving the event, Zahawi was rushed by protesters. According to an attendee, one of the activists physically assaulted a member of the Conservative Association during the melee. Writing about the experience in The Daily Mail, Zahawi confirmed this to be the case. “During my speech at Warwick, one young Conservative activist was hit on the head and many others were shouted at and abused”.
A Muslim MP, attacked by privileged white people, one of whom also happens to be the son of a political opponent. Another great moment for the Right Side of History!

THE TELEGRAPH: The criminal justice system has prioritised ‘gender identity’ over the reality of biological sex, according to the Policy Exchange.
A report for the Policy Exchange think tank has concluded that the criminal justice system is failing women. It found that the police, the Crown Prosecution Service and the courts are too readily prioritising ‘gender identity’ over biological sex and this is having a ‘detrimental effect’ on female victims, witnesses and prisoners.
The report was authored by Maureen O’Hara, a senior law lecturer at Coventry University. She wrote that self-declared gender identity had been adopted by the criminal justice system despite it not forming English and Welsh law. “The adoption by criminal justice institutions of this belief appears to have come about largely as the result of policy capture, as it is a widely contested belief and has been adopted without public scrutiny.”
Her report highlighted a number of issues with this policy, such as the police interviewing rape victims and describing their attackers as women.
It also raised concerns over the National Police Chiefs’ Council guidelines which state that trans-identified officers can ‘search persons of the same gender as their own lived gender’. “There is no consideration in this policy of the potentially traumatic effects on a female detainee of being intimately searched by a male officer. No mention is made of the rights to safety, privacy or dignity of an individual involved.”
Tuesday 31st May - Gaslighting At The BBC
THE TIMES: The BBC altered the use of pronouns in the first-hand report of a rape victim to respect the ‘gender identity’ of the man who attacked her.
Last October the BBC published an article reporting the experiences of lesbians who have been coerced into sexual relationships with trans-identified males.
The Times has revealed that the BBC altered the testimony of one of the women, a rape victim, featured in this article.
Of course, the woman in question referred to her rapist with male pronouns. However, sources inside the BBC told The Times that her testimony was altered to avoid ‘misgendering’ her attacker.
The woman’s original account to researchers read, “I was too young to argue and had been brainwashed by queer theory so he was a ‘woman’ even if every fibre of my being was screaming throughout, so I agreed to go home with him. He used physical force when I changed my mind upon seeing his penis and raped me”.
For publication, the BBC replaced all the male pronouns with ‘they’ or ‘them’.
The Times reports that BBC staff are increasingly concerned that “An internal diversity team is influencing what journalists can report, preventing them from covering gender identity issues accurately and impartially”. This diversity team seems to have influence over the BBC’s style guide which dictates that stories should use an individual’s preferred pronouns. Furthermore, an internal document seen by the paper goes even further by stating that the organisation should ‘normalise’ the use of pronouns, both ‘explicitly and implicitly’, through programming.
Angela Wild, co-founder of Get The L Out, criticised the BBC’s actions. “It’s really unethical and disrespectful to the victim. It’s a form of gaslighting for a woman who has already been through sexual violence.”

REDUXX: Testimony has emerged alleging that a trans-identified male raped a female inmate at a women’s prison earlier this month.
We have reported previously on the huge numbers of male prisoners claiming a trans identity in order transfer to the female estate in California.
Now an inmate at the Central California Facility for Women attests that a fellow female prisoner has been sexually assaulted by a trans-identified male incarcerated there. Mimi Le has given a sworn declaration to lawyers for the Women’s Liberation Front (WoLF) for use in its legal case against the State of California.
Her testimony concerns a ‘barely conscious’ female inmate who was carried out of her cell on a stretcher and taken to a medical-administrative building. Le says that a number of prisoners told her that woman had been sexually assaulted by Jonathan Roberston, a male inmate who ‘identifies as a woman’ and is known as Siyaah Skylit.
Le’s statement goes on to say that she witnessed Robertson being escorted in handcuffs. She learned that he had launched into a violent tirade against the female inmates and spat at them. Multiple witnesses confirmed that he shouted at the incarcerated women, “Fuck all you bitches. I’ll rape you. I’ll rape your mama. I’ll fuck all you bitches up… There is nothing you bitches can do”.
Robertson obtained a transfer from men’s facility, Kern Valley State Prison (KSVP), to the Central California Facility for Women thanks to a campaign which was championed by Pink News.
Wednesday 1st June - Men Make The Best Women #1
THE DAILY MAIL: Lia Thomas has reiterated his determination to compete in women’s swimming and is even hoping for a place at the Olympics.
Thomas appeared on Good Morning America claiming not to have any physical advantage over ‘cisgender females’ (can he really be unaware of all the research which proves otherwise?) and discussing his intention to continue stealing medals, records and opportunities from women. “I don't need anybody's permission to be myself”, he said. “I intend to keep swimming. It's been a goal of mine to swim at Olympic trials for a very long time, and I would love to see that through.”
He went on claim that anyone stating he shouldn’t be allowed to compete as a female is transphobic.
Thomas later doubled down on these statements when appearing on ESPN. He claimed that ‘transwomen’ do not pose a threat to female sport because they’re small in number and, again, he claimed not to have any physical advantage over women.
Thomas’ ubiquitous media-courting this week coincided with his University of Pennsylvania teammates speaking out over attempts to silence and intimidate them.
One of the female swimmers appears in a new documentary called What is a Woman? made by conservative podcast host, Matt Walsh. For obvious reasons, she had to appear anonymously, her face and voice disguised.
She told Walsh that the University of Pennsylvania warned the members of its female swimming team that there would be serious repercussions for them if they dared to challenge Thomas’ inclusion.
“Penn actually brought in people high up in the athletic department to talk to us, like brought in someone from the LGBTQ centre, they brought in someone from psychological services. The message was ‘Lia’s swimming is a non-negotiable’. They’ve made it pretty clear, if you speak up about it, your life will be over in some way, you’ll be blasted all over the internet as a ‘transphobe’, you’ll never be able to get a job.”

REDUXX: A video has emerged of a male trans activist calling for ‘transphobes’ to be murdered at an LGBTQ event earlier this year.
Jova Bagioli Reyes is a poet and musician who describes himself as ‘unapologetically latine, queer and political’ and is a ‘radical LGBT+ rights activist’. He produces music as Jova & the Wave and last year was awarded a bursary for ‘disabled artists of colour’. He is one of the Manchester City of Literature’s team of Multilingual City Poets and appears on various platforms.
Earlier this year Reyes appeared at an event organised by the LGBT Foundation called Queer Joy and Radical Acts: Greater Manchester LGBTQ+ Arts and Culture Network Conference 2022. It was financed in part by the Arts Council England. According to the LGBT Foundation website, it seems that Reyes received a fee of around £2,250 for his appearance.
During Reyes’ performance, he called for ‘transphobes’ to be killed. At the outset he gave the audience a trigger warning saying his material was about ‘murder and stuff’. He described the fictional character Rosa, “A poor transwoman in South America who is a bad bitch”. Rosa and her lover are murdered “But the kicker is she comes back as a ghost to kill her murderers”.
Reyes shouted at the audience, “Because that’s what we’re about! Kill transphobes 2022!”
Thursday 2nd June - This Never Happens
SHIELDS GAZETTE: A trans-identified male was found guilty of possessing over 125,000 images of child sexual abuse but has escaped a jail sentence.
68-year-old Peter Selby compiled a ‘vile online catalogue’ of child sexual abuse images over a 10 year period. Police conducting a house search seized three separate devices on which were stored indecent images, both pictures and videos, featuring children as young as three. 2,413 of the images were deemed Category A, the most serious.
At Newcastle Crown Court Selby admitted three charges of making indecent images of children and one of possessing extreme pornography.
Selby was sentenced to 14 months imprisonment, suspended for two years, with rehabilitation requirements.
In handing down the suspended prison sentence, the judge told Selby, “You are someone who identifies as transgender and the impact of custody would be significant for you in the circumstances”.
Friday 3rd June - ‘Both Sides’ #3
A London restauranteur has suffered online abuse, spiteful reviews and vandalism to his property after hosting a fund-raising event which was organised by JK Rowling and Suzanne Moore.
James Chiavarini owns Il Portico, the oldest family-run restaurant in London. Last week he hosted a fundraising event at Il Portico’s sister eatery and wine bar, Pino, for Lumos, the charity founded by Baroness Emma Nicholson and JK Rowling. The evening raised £18,500 for the Lumos Ukraine appeal.
Chiavarini immediately became a target for the gender stasi, receiving online abuse and harassment.
His restaurants suddenly started receiving bad reviews and accusations of transphobia.
And now his restaurant’s window has been smashed. A coincidence or another example of how things are done on the right side of history?
Also Today - Nursing Fear at the NHS
THE TELEGRAPH: Nurses no longer feel safe discussing gender issues and are quitting the Royal College of Nursing.
In February The Telegraph reported that the NHS’s self-ID gender policy ‘profoundly disadvantages women’ and inhibits staff from expressing their views.
Now nurses are boycotting their own organisation after its chief executive, Pat Cullen, created a ‘hostile environment’ around the gender debate.
Cullen made clear her ‘commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion’ in a blog post this week. Referencing issues around gender identity, she stated, “The ability to self-identify cannot be underestimated by those who have never faced these personal challenges. It is a fundamental principle of the nursing and midwifery code that people are treated as individuals and their dignity upheld, including avoiding making assumptions and the recognition of diversity and individual choice.”
Her comments been regarded as an attack on those within the profession who believe biological sex should be prioritised over gender identity and many feel they will inhibit debate at the RCN conference.
Nurses have told The Telegraph that they fear speaking out on important issues such as the effect of puberty blockers on children. One long-standing RCN member said, “I am quite terrified that because of Pat Cullen’s statement, I will be a target because I want to protect children, existing sex-based rights for women and ensure nurses feel able to raise concerns and discuss evidence. This RCN statement means those reasonable discussion points are not safe to assert and may be considered hate speech.”
Another nurse told the paper, “Following the statement made, I’ve cancelled my membership. Enough of my time has been given to an organisation rife with misogyny. The statement released by the chief executive has essentially endorsed the accusations of bigotry levelled at women like myself, who speak up on the sex and gender debate at great risk… It seems unreal that discussing evidence now in nursing doesn’t feel safe”.

A pair of trans-identified males have stolen the two top spots in a (supposedly) women’s cycling race.
Emily Bridges and Lilly Chant took first and second place, respectively, in the ThunderCrit race at the Herne Hill Velodrome in London on Friday.
ThunderCrit is the UK’s largest and longest-running fixed gear cycling competition. It used to have race categories divided by sex. Last year, however, organisers dispensed with fairness and scientific reality, prioritising ‘gender expression’ over biology.
“We aim to create an inclusive racing environment for all, and welcome all gender expressions to our races… It shouldn’t be up to racers who do not identify with the traditional categories to face pressure to fit into them or else be excluded or face intrusive questioning, or for a third category to be created which further ‘others’ them in the sport. It’s time for the categories themselves to change and become more inclusive. Therefore, we say goodbye to gendered race categories. The men’s race and women’s race are no more.”
ThunderCrit now divides its categories into ‘Thunder’ and ‘Lightning’:
‘Cis’ people, you will notice, do not get to choose their racing category but those with a special ‘gender identity’ are free to do so - no proof of medical treatment is required and they’ll be trusted to ‘select the category most appropriate for their performance’.
This, obviously, leaves the women’s category open to pretty much anyone. So, unsurprisingly, on Friday the first and second places in the women’s division were taken by males.
Saturday 4th June - Uncivil Servants
THE TIMES: Training provided to the civil service promotes gender ideology, denigrates feminism and claims that definition of the word ‘woman’ is ‘bigoted’.
Janice Turner of The Times has seen a video of official training provided by A:Gender, an organisation which trains thousands of civil servants. “Having endured 90 minutes of anti-scientific, legally fallacious twaddle, I can see why it avoids scrutiny. Concerned women civil servants secretly taped and sent it to me, as they believe this ‘training’ violates central principles of the civil service code: integrity, honesty, objectivity and impartiality”.
In the video, the course leader states that being a woman/female cannot be defined and insists that describing someone as an ‘adult human female’ is ‘bigoted’. She says, “We don’t actually need to be able to define what makes somebody male or female to accept when someone is a man or a woman”.
Other outrageous claims made by the presenter include sex being randomly ‘assigned at birth’, there being a ‘biological component to gender identity’ which makes it innate and gender identity being a scale of ‘woman-ness’ and ‘man-ness’.
She also tells her audience that ‘transphobia is increasingly presented as feminism’ and claims that there is ‘no conflict’ between women’s rights and trans rights.
One course attendee who wished to be anonymous commented, “I thought it was propaganda. It’s the promotion of one view — how to think about gender and gender identity — which is not supported by legislation or common sense… It’s the corruption of what should be an impartial body”.
In her column, Janice Turner writes about the female civil servants who are too frightened to speak out, fearing professional repercussions and bullying if they do. Their union, the FDA, has passed a conference motion stating there should be ‘boundaries’ on gender-critical speech and banned ‘trans-exclusionary language’ so cannot be relied upon to defend them.
“This might just be tiresome gender woo-woo if it wasn’t being taught as fact to people who write and implement the small print of public equality guidance… So much government policy reveals civil servants have absorbed the A:gender view that ‘gender identity’ always trumps sex, regardless of the impact on women.”
Sunday 5th June - Leave Them Kids Alone
REDUXX: Scantily clad ‘drag queens’ have performed for children in an adult venue, prompting serious safeguarding concerns.
We have written previously on the travesty that is drag performances for kids. Drag is an adult entertainment form based on highly sexualised and offensive parodies of womanhood. It is not appropriate for children.
On 4th June the Mr Misster Bar & Lounge in Dallas held an event called ‘Drag the Kids to Pride’ which was billed as a ‘family friendly drag show’ on Eventbrite.
Footage from the event is now circulating on social media. It shows ‘drag queens’ in lingerie and revealing costumes dancing provocatively for and accepting cash ‘tips’ (redolent of behaviour in strip clubs etc) from small children in the audience.
In one clip recorded by an audience member, a ‘drag queen’ in a red latex basque and thigh-high boots can be seen dancing and performing the splits for the audience of children before approaching a young girl to accept banknote ‘tips’ from her.
Another drag performer in a similarly revealing outfit gyrated on the floor in front of the young audience before lying down flat and spreading his legs wide in the air.
Children were also invited to participate in the show and joined the ‘drag queens’ on the stage.
And the whole show was played out in front of a large pink neon sign which read “It’s not gonna lick itself!”
See you next week.
To liar thomas: we're not 'cis' women you bloody bollock-tucking cheating fraud
As always many thanks for a darn good read JL.
Must admit reading about Nadhim Zahawi I had to check that this wasn't your Good News Edition. At this rate it's going to be over by Christmas. Please keep it up gender identity extremists!
