INSIDE EDITION: A trans-identified male is accused of attacking a female employee at a homeless shelter in South Carolina, inflicting life-threatening injuries.
34-year-old trans identified male, Michell Silva Perez, was a resident at the Miracle Hill Ministry Shepherd’s Gate women’s homeless shelter in Greenville, South Carolina. The facility is described as “A safe emergency shelter for women and mothers with young children”. It accommodates not only vulnerable and/or traumatised women - many of whom will have suffered male violence - but also their children.
Perez was disqualified from the programme for failing to adhere to its guidelines and he was evicted from the shelter on 18th July. However, he refused to leave, began causing a disturbance and then, it is alleged, he physically attacked one of the shelter’s female staff members. Perez is accused of ambushing the woman, throwing her to the ground and then stabbing her in the stomach with a sharp-edged weapon which was described in police documentation as ‘a sword’. The attack was so brutal that the woman’s internal organs were exposed.
The victim was rushed to hospital where she underwent ‘life saving surgery’. Perez was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder and the possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is being housed in the men’s section of the county jail because he is “Still transitioning to a woman”.
Of course, when the authorities and the media reported this incident, they either obfuscated or concealed altogether Perez’s sex and trans status. Posting a media release on Facebook, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office reported that ‘a woman’ is in custody and, using female pronouns throughout, omitted the one vital fact that the suspect is male.
AOL’s article described Perez as ‘a woman’ and used female pronouns with which to refer to him. Neither his true sex nor trans status were mentioned.
While making a very brief mention of Perez being ‘transgender’, The Post and Courier referred to him as a ‘woman’ in its headline and throughout the article itself and also afforded him female pronouns.
WSPA 7 News described Perez as a ‘person’ in its headline. The article avoided using any pronouns or making any reference to his sex, thus obscuring that Perez is a trans-identified male. WMBF News did exactly the same, concealing the sex of a violent man with a deft bit of word play.
A Miracle Hill spokesperson commented that the Shepherd’s Gate had not been aware of Perez’s true sex or trans status. However, they went on to comment, “That had no bearing on whether Miracle Hill would help, and did not contribute to the guest’s exit from the facility”. Such a policy - of admitting trans-identified males to a supposedly women only emergency shelter - is why Miracle Hill now finds itself in this tragic position, with a female staff member seriously injured in hospital after she was almost fatally stabbed by a man.

HERALD SUN: An Australian inquiry into female health is to include men who ‘identify as women’.
The Australian state of Victoria is undertaking a publicly-funded study into female health called The Inquiry into Women’s Pain. It will include issues caused by menstruation and menopause as well as chronic conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis.
The Victorian government is calling for submissions from people with experience of women’s pain and is including “Anyone who identifies as a woman, though they may have a different sex at birth”.
A spokesperson for the government said, “A range of demographic data is being collected… to ensure recommendations are robust and reflect the diversity of women’s experiences of pain”. A study into women’s pain is to includes males. What use will this data be?
Rachael Wong, Chief Executive of Women’s Forum Australia, told the paper that the inclusion of males, “Makes a mockery of women’s pain”. She added, “It’s absurd to have to state the obvious, but it is physiologically impossible for men to experience female health conditions or the pain that comes with them”.

NEWSLETTER: Police forces in Northern Ireland have received gender ideology training, the details of which they were extremely reluctant to disclose.
Cara Friend is an organisation based in Belfast which has been “Serving & empowering the LGBTQIA+ community in Northern Ireland since 1974 through service provision, advocacy, campaigning and volunteering”. It has 11 staff members and about 60% of its revenue - around £419,000 per year - is derived from public bodies.
In recent years Cara Friend has provided training on gender woo to the PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland). Newsletter investigated the details of this training via FoI requests but found that both Cara Friend and the PSNI were very reluctant to share the information. It took a nine-month long battle to finally force the PSNI to disclose the documents relating to the Cara Friend’s training.
The training materials are 39 pages long. (For some reason, they also bear the logo of the US investment bank CitiGroup.) The course begins by asking police officers to write down “How many sexual orientations and gender identities you know”. It goes on to claim that biological sex is not simply something people have, but rather something which is ‘assigned at birth’ by doctors.
The training materials describe the sex binary as a ‘historical view’ with the ‘modern view’ being that ‘gender is a social construct’. They list pronouns such as ‘xe/xem’ and ‘ve/vir’ and gender identities such as ‘agender’, ‘pangender’ and ‘bigender’ and maintain that children can be ‘transgender’ from just three years old. They also encourage officers to ‘challenge queerphobia’, ‘use inclusive / neutral language’, ask for, offer and use ‘preferred pronouns’, and to ‘be a vocal ally’.
The course ends with a list of LGBTQIA+-themed programmes for police officers to watch on Netflix.

THE DAILY MAIL: Three trans-identified male cyclists dominated at an elite women’s cycling competition in the US.
The Marymoor Grand Prix, an annual cycling event, was held last week at the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome in Redmond, Washington. Part of the event is the women’s prestigious Madison race, a high-speed, two-person relay.
All three of the Madison’s medal winning teams included a trans-identified male. This, of course, meant that there were three males on the winner’s podium and they stole bronze, silver and gold medals which should have gone to women.
28-year-old Eva (formerly Henry) Lin, who used to race for the San Jose State University’s men’s team, stole the bronze medal. In second place was 43-year-old Jenna (formerly James) Lingwood, who competed in men’s events until 2017 but is now the women’s masters 40+ national cyclocross champion. In first place and stealing the gold medal, was Jordan Lothrop, a Canadian cyclist who was racing in men’s events until just last year.

In July 2023, cycling’s world governing body, The Union Cycliste Internationale, barred trans-identified males from women’s competitions. It said “It has a duty to guarantee, above all, equal opportunities for all competitors in cycling competitions”, adding that “It is this imperative that led the UCI to conclude that, given the current state of scientific knowledge does not guarantee such equality of opportunity between transgender female athletes and cisgender female participants, it was not possible, as a precautionary measure, to authorise the former to race in the female categories.”
USA Cycling has chosen not to implement this policy to guarantee the fairness of women’s competitions.

THE TELEGRAPH: NHS ‘equality training’ is ideologically captured and promoting ‘grossly irresponsible’ myths about suicide to its staff.
NHS England is supplying staff with online ‘equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI)’ training. One module, seen by The Telegraph, teaches that using ‘the wrong pronoun’ for trans-identified patients can cause suicide, self-harm and mental illness.
This module, titled ‘LGBT plus identities’ tells NHS stall that it is ‘so important’ to use preferred pronouns. “It isn’t just about helping them to feel accepted and welcomed” but also reducing suicide risk”, it claims. “Trans and non-binary people report some of the highest rates of suicide, depression and self-harm. Ensuring that people are referred to using their correct name, gender and pronouns is critical to reducing these risks.”
This language is repeated on the NHS’s internal website in material produced by its equality and inclusion directors. For example, an NHS online ‘pronoun Q&A’ claims research shows that every context where a “Trans youth’s chosen name is used, their risk of suicidal behaviour is reduced by more than half” and that those who have their pronouns respected “Attempted suicide at half the rate of those who did not have their pronouns respected”. However, the only ‘research’ cited was a 2022 survey conducted by US LGBT+ charity, The Trevor Project.
Such rhetoric is, of course, contradicted not only by The Cass Review, but also by a governmental independent report, written by Professor Louis Appleby, the University of Manchester Department of Health and Social Care adviser on suicide prevention.
An NHS source said the “Poorly evidenced claims” around suicide were “Statistically unfounded and emotionally disgraceful”. They added, “This narrative is repeated everywhere. It is like a religion being forced upon staff.”

REDUXX: A trans-identified male accused of the brutal murder of his own husband is being held on remand in a female prison.
We have reported previously on 70-year-old trans-identified male, Joanna (formerly John) Rowland-Stuart. He is accused of murdering his husband, 70-year-old Andrew Roland-Stuart, at their home in Kemptown, Brighton.
On the evening of Monday 27th May 2024, emergency services responded to an incident at the couple’s flat. Andrew Rowland-Stuart was pronounced dead at the scene and was found to have sustained a number of stab wounds. Joanna Rowland-Stuart appeared before magistrates in Crawley on Friday 31st May 2024 and was remanded in custody.
The victim, Andrew Roland-Stuart, also used to identify as trans and called himself Angie or Angela. This male couple were reported as having had “Britain's first civil transgender lesbian wedding” following their civil partnership ceremony in 2006. They were both heavily involved in Brighton’s BDSM scene for years prior to this marriage.
Former truck driver, Andrew Rowland-Stuart, clearly detransitioned at some point prior to his murder and was ‘identifying as male’ at the time of his violent death.
Retired council worker, Joanna Rowland-Stuart, was a vocal trans activist and a transgender rep for the Civil Service’s LGBT group, Proud. As early as 2006, Stuart was giving presentations on transgender ideology through PCS Proud, the LGBT section of the union which serves public sector staff.
One of Joanna Rowland Stuart’s listings on the Companies House website shows that, at one time, he was a director of the Institute of Equality and Diversity Professionals.
Another of his Companies House entries shows that he was also a director of the Brighton-based LGBT Community Safety Forum, an organisation which worked directly with those who make and enforce the law.
He also had input into a report on domestic violence and abuse.
Of course, the press and the police concealed Rowland-Stuart’s true sex in reporting the violent crime of which he is accused.
In its press release on Rowland-Stuart’s arrest, Sussex Police erroneously stated that “A woman has been charged with the murder of her husband at their flat in Brighton”. They urged the public ‘not to speculate’ but to come forward with any information which may be able to assist their investigation. Perhaps telling the truth about the sex of the suspect would be a more effective way of gathering evidence?
When BBC News reported the story, it described Joanna Rowland-Stuart as a woman and referred to him with female pronouns throughout. There is no indication of his true sex or trans identity anywhere in the BBC article. This is our publicly funded national broadcaster, lying to its readership.
BBC Sussex reported the story in exactly the same way and also described Joanna Roland-Stuart as a ‘woman’ on its social media account.
Similarly, The Brighton Argus reported that Roland-Stuart is a woman and referred to him with female pronouns. An oblique reference is made to him being ‘a transgender rep with the civil service’ but otherwise no mention is made of his sex or trans status.
The Argus was careful to turn off the replies when posting its article on social media.
Joanna Rowland-Stuart was originally being held in Lewes Prison, a male facility. However, it now appears that has been quietly transferred to the female estate.
Brighton & Hove News reported on Rowland-Stuart’s hearing at Lewes Crown Court this week. (The article, you will notice, describes him as a woman and uses female pronouns throughout.) The paper said that he was appearing by video link from Downview Prison in Surrey.
Downview Prison and Young Offender Institution is specifically a women’s facility. How on earth did he obtain a transfer?
In February 2023 a new ‘transgender prison policy’ came into force. It is supposed to ensure that, “Unless explicitly approved at the highest level”, trans-identified male offenders who have committed sexual or violent crimes or retain male genitalia cannot be held in a women’s prison.
Joanna Rowland-Stuart is accused of a brutal murder. Who ‘at the highest level’ approved his move to a female prison? And why?

THE TELEGRAPH: The Education Secretary has delayed and will almost certainly repeal new legislation which would have protected free speech in universities.
The Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act 2023 - “An Act to make provision in relation to freedom of speech and academic freedom in higher education institutions and in students’ unions; and for connected purposes” - was due to take effect on 1st August.
The bill amassed cross-party support and was given royal assent in May last year. It deemed that universities have a duty to ensure and promote freedom of speech and academic expression. It would have allowed for fines or sanctions to be imposed on higher education institutions and student unions in England failing to uphold freedom of speech. It would also have offered a complaints scheme to students, staff and visiting speakers who believed their freedom of speech was being curtailed.
This proposed legislation was introduced in part as a response to the cancel culture rife on university campuses, particularly the attempts to no-platform and silence gender critical academics, students and guest speakers.
This week the Secretary of State for Education, Gillian Phillipson, announced to Parliament that Labour is going ‘to stop further commencement’ and may even repeal this bill.
In written remarks she stated, “I have written to colleagues separately about my decision to stop further commencement of the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act 2023, in order to consider options, including its repeal. I am aware of concerns that the Act would be burdensome on providers and on the Office for Students and I will confirm my long-term plans as soon as possible.”
Commenting on social media, barrister and EHRC commissioner, Akua Reindorf KC, said, “I’m surprised & shocked that Bridget Phillipson has announced that the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act 2023 won’t come into force on 1 August & may be repealed. The Act was not perfect, but it’s quite evident that free speech and academic freedom are in peril in universities.”
Writing in The Telegraph, Baroness Claire Fox commented that, “The government has opted to continue confining young minds to a diet of closed, simplistic, one-dimensional worldviews, with dissent demonised or silenced” and she said that Bridget Phillipson “Has declared war on the culture of free speech on campus”.

REDUXX: Two athletes who appear to be male are competing at the Paris Olympics in the women’s boxing events.
Imane Khelif of Algeria and Lin Yu-Ting of Taiwan are due to compete in the women’s boxing at the Olympic Games this week in the welterweight and bantamweight categories respectively. Last year, both competitors were disqualified from an international women’s boxing championship due to questions surrounding their biological sex.
The Women’s World Boxing Championships took place in India in March 2023. At the time of the event, the president of the International Boxing Association (IBA), Umar Kremlev, announced the disqualification of a number of competitors. He said that concerns had been raised over the sex of some participants and that after “A series of DNA tests” the IBA had discovered some athletes were masquerading as female but had XY Chromosomes. Two of the competitors barred from this competition after failing ‘gender tests’ were Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-Ting.
Following Khelif’s disqualification, female boxer, Mexico’s Brianda Tamara, described encountering him in the ring. “When I fought with her [sic] I felt very out of my depth. Her [sic] blows hurt me a lot, I don’t think I had ever felt like that in my 13 years as a boxer, nor in my sparring with men. Thank God that day I got out of the ring safely”.
Imane Khelif has competed in - and been extremely successful at - women’s boxing events, for several years, representing Algeria at that 2020 Olympics.

Prior to his disqualification for failing the ‘gender test’ last year, Lin Yu-Ting had previously won five gold medals in women’s boxing tournaments.

He also took $100,000 in prize money at a competition in 2022.
Despite the legitimate concerns surrounding their true sex, Lin Yu-Ting and Imane Khelif are being allowed to compete in this year’s Olympic Games in the women’s boxing events. Female competitors will have to face them in the ring this week.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) chose to end sex-verification screening in 2000. It now seems that individual national boxing federations are responsible for setting and enforcing their own eligibility criteria, allowing some countries to exploit the system and place males in female boxing categories.
And the IOC’s new media guidelines, which prohibit the reporting of an athlete’s true biological sex and/or trans status, will help to conceal it when they do.
Sunday 28th June - First Do No Harm
THE DAILY MAIL: A distraught father wrote to the surgeon who was due to perform his mentally ill daughter’s double mastectomy.
In May, a heart-broken father wrote a letter to a leading cosmetic surgeon at the private Cadogan gender clinic in Chelsea, West London. Mohsen El Gammal, the surgeon in question, was about to perform an elective double mastectomy on the man’s young and clearly extremely vulnerable daughter.
Suffering with depression, in her teens, this 20-year-old girl went through a lengthy period of extreme self-harming and now has extensive scarring on her arms and legs. She then went through a phase of starving herself before, as her father put it, ‘she started participating in the trans cult’ and became convinced that she’s a man.
After just two GP two appointments, the young woman was able to get a private prescription for testosterone and she later arranged an elective double mastectomy at the Cadogan Clinic.

Of his daughter’s extreme youth and her inability to fully understand the implications of the surgery, the man wrote, “Which of us knew at 20 what we would know or think at 30? Which of us understood ourselves in the way we do at 60? Which of us did not do things we almost immediately regretted, never mind things which we look on in disbelief but a few years later? How can you possibly believe that she is truly able to give informed consent to what you are going to do to her? She cannot see round the corner, never mind beyond the horizon”.
He told the surgeon, “You will, in one day – a day you will quickly forget – ruin her life for ever. You will take from her the opportunity to breastfeed her child; you will take from her the opportunity to have a normal wide-ranging pool of people from whom to choose her partner in life; you will irreparably harm her”.
He never received a reply to his letter. His daughter underwent the surgery and Mohsen El Gammal removed her healthy breasts.
See you next week.
I wonder what the NHS would do if women started claiming to feel suicidal when having to share a room with a TIM
Has anyone reported the Joanna Roland-Stuart situation to the Peers on our side? He needs to be gotten out of the female estate immediately. And Labour's sneaky antics need to be exposed.
