Monday 18th April - Don’t Mention The Womb
THE DAILY MAIL: Maternity staff at Sussex hospitals are being told to avoid using the correct anatomical vocabulary if it offends pregnant trans patients.
Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust has produced a ‘care guide’ for the midwives and obstetricians employed there. The guidance discourages the use of vocabulary which refers to female anatomy where it might offend pregnant women who do not identify as women.
Last February the trust changed the name of its maternity services department to the ‘perinatal services department’. Now Sussex health bosses have produced guidelines tailored around the sensibilities of trans and non-binary ‘birthing parents’.
It reads, “Some individuals may have preferred terminology for their anatomy. These should be used wherever possible. For example, some people may talk about ‘front hole’ or ‘genital opening’ rather than ‘vagina’”. Furthermore, patients are provided with a document called My Language Preferences on which they can indicate terms they want the staff to employ.
Kat Barber, founder of Sex Not Gender Nurses and Midwives, warned that there can be a risk in using ambiguous and slang terms that are not specific.
A midwife at the trust who asked to remain anonymous told the paper that a number of maternity staff are unhappy with these guidelines but afraid of expressing their views. “It's a policy that relates to very few people and they think in some ways it's ridiculous but because of the climate at the hospital they dare not say anything.”

FOX NEWS: Parents in Massachusetts are taking legal action against their children’s school, alleging that staff secretly encouraged kids to adopt a new ‘gender identity’.
Parents Stephen Foote and Marissa Silvestri claim that Ludlow Public School staff encouraged their child to adopt a new name and pronouns. Another couple, Jonathan Feliciano and Sandra Salmeron, claim that the school's policy to withhold information from parents about their own child’s ‘gender identity’ is in violation of their rights.
The law suit begins, “Defendants’ protocol and practice of concealing from parents information related to their children’s gender identity and efforts to affirm a discordant student gender identity at school violates parents’ fundamental rights.”

4W: An Australian trans charity is supplying breast-binders to underage girls without parental consent or medical supervision.
TransFolk of WA is a registered charity based in Western Australia. It advertises its ‘Pay-It-Forward Binder Program’ on its website and touts for donations.
The programme supplies binders to ‘folks’ (ie girls) who ‘otherwise could not afford one’. It promotes binders as ‘a source of gender euphoria’ and ‘an essential item’. The programme is ‘open to all ages’.
Breast-binding is a dangerous practice that can have serious consequences and cause permanent physical harm. It can cause compressed, fractured, and broken ribs, respiratory problems, damage to lungs, blood vessels and muscles, back problems, posture issues and chronic pain. It can render women unable to breastfeed in later life and can even bring on a heart attack due to decreased blood flow.
According to information on TransFolk of WA’s own website, most binder recipients are just 16 years old but they also supply to girls as young twelve and thirteen.
Applying for a free breast-binder simply requires completing an online 17-question form. This form does not ask if applicants have been diagnosed and/or treated by medical or mental health professionals, nor does it request information about any underlying physical conditions which could exacerbate the risks of breast-binding.
The applicant’s age is requested but the application form does not require a parent’s consent or contact information. Even for minors. Applicants can use a false name and opt to have the binder posted to an address other than their own home.
The writer of the 4W article applied to the programme, posing as a 14-year-old girl. She received her binder just five days later, no questions asked.
Wednesday 20th April - Rainbow-Washing Male Violence
BBC NEWS: ‘Non-binary’ actor, Ezra Miller, has been arrested after an incident which left a woman with an injured forehead.
Hollywood star, Ezra Miller, was arrested in Hawaii for second degree assault after he allegedly attacked a woman at a social gathering in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The 29-year-old is said to have become enraged after a woman asked him to leave her home, throwing a chair at her head and causing a substantial cut.
This is the second time that Miller has been arrested in recent weeks. At the end of March he was arrested at a bar in Hawaii and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment. Miller was reportedly hurling obscenities at and trying to grab the microphone from a young woman singing karaoke. According to Hawaii’s Assistant Chief of Police, Kenneth Quiocho, the woman’s choice of song had ‘aggravated’ him.
Two years ago a video surfaced allegedly showing Miller choking a woman at a bar in Reykjavik. In the video, Miller appeared to grab the woman by the throat and throw her to the ground. A source told Variety that Miller had lost his temper having been approached by a group of ‘eager fans’.
Miller identifies as ‘non-binary’ and uses they/them pronouns.
But we recognise male pattern violence when we see it.
Thursday 21st April - School’s ‘So Long’ To Safeguarding
NORTHAMPTONSHIRE TELEGRAPH: Parents and pupils at a Northants secondary school are angry and concerned over plans for mixed sex toilet facilities.
Ferrers School is a secondary school and sixth form in Northamptonshire. This week parents were informed by letter that its single sex toilet facilities are being converted into ‘gender neutral’ facilities with cubicles that open onto a shared washbasin area.
Parents and pupils voiced their concerns on social media with many worried about the students’ privacy. One parent commented, “I think it's a terrible idea. Whoever you are you deserve your privacy especially when you are in your early teens and your minds and bodies are going through massive changes. I'm sure you can remember feeling a bit awkward as a teen having her first periods... last thing you'd want is a boy in the toilet next door”.
In recent years there have been numerous reports of girls eschewing mixed-sex school toilets, putting their health at risk, because of harassment from male pupils, concerns about privacy and even the risk of sexual assault.
Angela Smith, Ferrers School principal, told the paper, “As an inclusive, forward-thinking school we want our pupils to feel safe in today's modern society”.
Also Today - ACAS Prefers Pronouns
ACAS, the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service, is promoting the use of pronouns in email signatures, claiming it creates an ‘open and inclusive workplace’.
ACAS is supposed to provide impartial information and advice to employees and employers about ‘workplace rights, rules and best practice’. Given they’re promoting a faith-based and divisive ideology, one wonders just how impartial that information and advice is going to be.

THE DAILY MAIL: Raquel Rosario Sanchez lost her negligence case against Bristol University.
Raquel Rosario Sánchez is a feminist writer, campaigner and researcher from the Dominican Republic. She is currently studying for a PhD at Bristol University.
In February 2018 she chaired a Woman’s Place UK meeting. Prior to the event an anonymous open letter calling for it to be cancelled was circulated to Bristol University staff and students. Over 200 people signed it and some added abusive comments. One student wrote, “It’s atrocious. Total TERF shit.”
Sánchez then suffered a barrage of abuse and intimidation, from one trans activist student in particular, to the extent that she feared for her physical safety. She made a formal complaint to Bristol University. The university, however, failed to take any action against the individual in question. Instead, Sánchez was made to feel like she was the guilty party. Eventually, the university ‘terminated’ the disciplinary procedure and then went on to also dismiss Sánchez’s wider complaint.
Sánchez felt she had no choice but to take legal action against Bristol University for its failure to properly protect her from bullying and harassment.
Her case was heard at the Bristol Civil and Family Justice Centre with the judgement being handed down on Thursday. Judge Alexander Ralton acknowledged that Sanchez had suffered ‘violent, threatening, intimidating behaviour or language’, but he dismissed her claims against the university believing that ‘no actionable breach of duty has been identified’.
Meanwhile, Bristol University is offering ‘guidance’ to its staff on gender identities and neopronouns.
Saturday 23rd April - On Your Bike
While trans-identified males are currently prevented from competing in elite women’s cycling competitions, at other levels, they are still being allowed to dominate.
Earlier this month, British Cycling suspended its ‘transgender policy’ pending a full review. Consequently, trans-identified males are not currently able to compete with or against women in elite competitions. However, amateur female cyclists are still expected to be ‘inclusive’ of males in their sport.
TweedLove hosts a series of cycling events in Scotland’s Tweed Valley. This weekend it held the ‘intro level’ Ridelines Enjoyro races.
The TweedLove Facebook page and website lists Maxine Yates as the fastest female in the eBike category.
Maxine Yates, however, is male.

THE DAILY MAIL: ‘Tucking’ underwear designed for little boys as young as four is being marketed online.
Carmen Liu is a trans-identified male who designs and sells “Underwear designed for the LGBTQIA+ community at heart”.
In addition to advertising ‘tucking underwear’ for adults, marketed with images of himself in sexualised poses, Liu’s website also sells similar products aimed specifically at children.
This underwear is available in seven sizes, the smallest of which fits children as young as four. The products are “Designed to flatten the side profile of the pelvic area”. The website declares, “Carmen Liu Kids is here for trans girls and non-binary children in their journey… Each product is here to provide children with the stepping stones to finding themselves, in a supportive, validating experience”.
Dr Shiban Ahmed, a consultant paediatric surgeon, told The Daily Mail that this ‘tucking’ underwear could be harmful to children and cause sterility in later life.
Conservative peer, Baroness Emma Nicholson, told the paper, “I am truly horrified. The makers, sellers and distributors of these items are breaking the Children’s Act and are heavily abusing the NHS health criteria for children”.
Stephanie Davies-Arai, communication skills expert, teacher trainer, parent coach and author of Communicating with Kids, commented, “The fact that a child is sexualised in this way and their sexual parts are treated according to adult ideas, is abuse of the child. It feels barbaric to actually interfere with a child’s genitals in that way”.
In addition to ‘tucking’ underwear, Carmen Liu’s website also offers ‘activity packs’ for children. According to the online description, the pack includes “Two personal letters from Carmen herself to the young person” and “Begins the emotional journey, whilst giving time to process each step feeling loved and validated”.
Teaching children to hate, hide and be ashamed of their bodies is neither loving nor validating. It is intolerably cruel and very dangerous.
See you next week.
The ideological victory in the birth world must be the most prized by the activists. If they can get midwives, nurses, doctors etc. to bend the knee, they have proven they can capture any one. This is the patriarchal ring-kissing that hurts the most. And the pregnant women who think they are men, and the women who think they are men while actually giving birth — these testosterone-addled women are the most captured of all. Refusing to accept biological reality in the face of overwhelming female biological events. I hope the medical community will do long term studies on the unfortunate babies whose endocrine systems were flooded with so much testosterone. Not too impressed with the mothers either — putting their bonkers need for validation ahead of their babies’ health. An ongoing, illogical creepy nightmare. Only horror, nothing good, can flow from the Big Lie — the lie that humans can change sex. I’m with Graham on this — “Gender Ideology” is a mass psychosis produced by the internet. Guess the fix will have to come from the internet too.

This ideology is so sick and depraved!
