A few of this week’s stories to gladden the heart…
#IStoodUpForWomenToday
All over the world feminist ninjas took action. We stood up for our sex-based rights using those well-known weapons of mass-agitation; stickers and ribbons.
From Leeds to Ottawa…
From Oslo to Boston…
Women demonstrated that we will not stand for males in our spaces, our prisons, our sports or our sex-class.
For many more glorious examples of this feminist activism, check out @StellaDoves’ wonderful thread.
Wonder Women In The House
The Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Bill was debated in parliament this week and included three blistering contributions from warrior women MPs not afraid to speak up for female rights.
Tonia Antoniazzi, Welsh Labour MP for Gower, spoke of the evidence showing that female academics cannot discuss their legal rights.

The Reviews Are In
Helen Joyce’s book, Trans: When Ideology Meets Reality, came out this week it is and already shooting up the best-seller lists.
Furthermore it has garnered some excellent reviews.

Writing in The Evening Standard, psychotherapist, Stella O’Malley, says, “Joyce’s book truly is a tour de force. With a fine eye for detail, she brings all the elements of gender ideology together with clarity and precision.”

David Aaronovitch, came ‘off the fence’ in The Times; "One benefit of Joyce’s book is its intellectual clarity and its refusal to compromise. So she takes apart this ideology of gender with a cold rigour. What, after all, is the woman or man you want to become, if there’s no such thing as a woman or man?"

Susan Dalgety even used her column in The Scotsman to try and persuade Nicola Sturgeon to Helen Joyce’s book.
The Turner Prize
Janice Turner, who has been writing brilliantly and honestly about the gender debate for years, has just been announced as the Broadsheet Columnist of the Year.

In a recent poll on the Scottish Government’s intranet, civil servants were asked if they include personal pronouns in their email signature. A total of 3,278 people responded, with 17% ticking yes, 25% choosing ‘no, but might in future’ and 58% selecting ‘no and probably wouldn’t’. Ah, that’s braw.
Stonewall Still Losing Members
People Management, the UK's leading human resources publication, wrote about the employers leaving Stonewall’s diversity scheme.
“Many of the reasons employers are giving is that the scheme is no longer good value for money… However, the charity has also been on the receiving end of backlash for its position on trans rights, concern over which was reportedly the reason for several companies parting ways with the scheme… Stonewall has also been accused of giving advice that misinterprets the Equality Act 2010, claiming it includes protection for ‘gender identity’, and using its Diversity Champions scheme to push employers to adopt pro-trans policies that some are concerned would negatively impact other groups”.
According to Harry Phibbs in Conservative Home, leading Tory councils, as well as some Labour authorities, are also withdrawing from Stonewall’s membership scheme. Phibbs has investigated Stonewall funding from local authorities via FOI requests.
“The great majority of councils have not given money to Stonewall in recent years. Of those that have, many indicated that they would not be doing so again.”

And it looks like we can add Westminster Council to that ever-burgeoning list.

Sian Berry has resigned as Green Party leader citing ‘an inconsistency between the sincere promise to fight for trans rights and inclusion’ as the reason and adding that the party no longer speaks unequivocally on trans issues.
There is dissent within the party over its dogged adherence to the gender identity ideology and the cracks are starting to appear!
As Debbie Hayton asks in The Spectator, “There is a glimmer of hope: could Berry's departure allow the party to focus on the environment, rather than trans rights, for once?”
And Finally…
Ah, much as I find all your posts interesting, I really, really look forward to the 'good news' communication. Some good stuff here, thanks!
Brava, JL, and thank you for these morale-boosting Good News posts 👌👍🙏👏👊💪🤪
