This is so depressing and also disgusting that I couldn’t read it all.. yuk, yuk, yuk! The evildoers have taken over! In the Miss Universe contest , the runner up is 1000 times more beautiful than the toothy winner! Yuk! The children’s book needs to be thrown in the manure pile! The criminal MEN being counted as women... OMG!

I went down to london the other day which i hardly ever do and i was on one of those massive streets and i looked down another massive street and it had all those pride flags with the strips and the angled bit and the circle which is new. Anyway, they were all lined up and there were rows and rows of them and it looked so authoritarian. Like i was in some 60’s dystopian film. F-ing scary. Didn’t look all loving and inclusive. It looked dominating and threatening to me.

Not related to the post, but the content is just too depressing to comment on. Thanks though JL.

I think you were probably on Regent Street, CB. Those flags are hanging over it all the way along. (And it isn't even Pride month anymore!) I was there the other day with some friends and we all agreed it honestly looks like an occupation.

Just look at the similarities between this:

And this:

yes thats the street JL. Thats another bit of the monopoly board ruined. It is scary, such complacency and support for a movement that no one has bothered to scrutinise or think about. I think society and especially policy makers for children’s services needs to listen to prof robert winston and richard dawkins and accept that changing one’s sex is impossible. Oh well. Some flags (subject to size restrictions) do not need planning permission such as national flags, flags of sports clubs AND the original (simple) rainbow pride flag.

All other flags including the so called progress pride flag do need planning permission. I wonder if those who have put the flags up on Regent Street have got planning permission? Anyone live in the area who could ask the local planning department?

I have no doubt at all that they got permission. Hence the repainted crossings and fiddling with lights. They were also magically permitted when they are outside of regulations and are purely political posturing, not to any engineering or safety standard. They serve no other purpose. Decades of safety knowledge in the bin. Something very odd seems to have taken over senior officials in London and the Boroughs. This magic word 'inclusion' seems to apply anywhere and to excuse anything. Whoever has control over the London Mayor's Twitter account was cheering and supporting the trans lobby that day when Alan 'Sarah Jane' Baker did his latest bout of threatening violence against women, so it's fairly obvious what their thinking is. Despite this clashing with their other reams of empty policy supposedly upholding women's and children's rights.

Gdańsk or Danzig was heavily bombed in WWII. It is a beautiful city going back to the 11hundreds . The architecture is mainly Dutch influenced. Danzig was a Hanseatic city, with many wealthy inhabitants. It was made a free city under Wilson’s 14 points after WWI ., called the Free City of Danzig.

Always contested between Prussia and Poland partly since Poland was a landlocked country.

An award for Helen Webberly! A prison sentence would be more appropriate. I think it's fair to say that Webberly's motivation is profit, like so many members of her profession. Surely, even the most naïve among us can read between the lines of the language she uses in her bit of shpeil. References to 'the trans community' who she's dedicated to helping to live their best lives. This in a meaningless term, or means that someone is going to get what they want, regardless of the impact it makes on others. Or, in this woman's case, the impact it will make on them in the near future. The 'community' she is referring to are vulnerable children, for fucks sake. Children, most of whom are experiencing emotional distress of some kind, or are on the autistic spectrum. Webberly is selling dangerous medication parents who give it to their children.

Yes, it is like satire, and you do wonder what the hell needs to happen before people start expressing their horror at this, and react. Obviously, we know that many do feel this way, but I'm referring to those who have had little or no engagement, the people who are likely to repeat the 'live and let live' mantra if they encounter any kind of gender related bollocks. What is it going to take for these people to say, 'No, fuck that, this is insane', and become enraged?

Rage, is an entirely appropriate reaction to what is happening. But instead it's getting waved through, and those who are part of it get gasps of amazement at how brave misogynists, abusers and their defenders are. They get smiles, congratulations, awards and gold medals, etc. This is a massive assault and for some, it is war. Those who are aware they are being viciously attacked and are resisting.

I had a conversation with someone about this recently, and was told what was happening in Ukraine was serious and I should be concerned about that, not "all this stuff". Well, I am concerned about the war in Ukraine and the suffering it's causing. But I'm capable of being concerned about more than one thing. It's a deflection tactic, of course, but the point is that 'all this stuff' is also causing suffering and sometimes death. And, as in all wars, some people who are not at any risk, become very rich from it.

I'm not going to get caught up with defending myself against accusations of 'transphobia' any more, it's not worth the effort. It's there to shut people up, but we can't afford to shut up. We have to talk and talk.

Expand full comment

This “trans community” is interesting as it comes from those who demand to be known as real women. They can’t see the contradiction. Willoughby on Twitter screeches about being female, and once again a 21st C suffragette yet complains that his “community” is under attack from those who wish to “eliminate” them. For decades very few bothered about them until their demands became untenable and the danger to vulnerable adolescents too much to ignore. Webberly et al is a big part of that.

I completely agree. There isn't a woman community. I hate the expression anyway when it's used to describe something other than the inhabitants of a village or small town. It's lazy, but worse, it's devisive. Also, the last thing it is, is inclusive. Thats supposed to be a huge premium for those who are part of the 'trans community', whatever that means now, it seems to include more and more 'communities' all the time'. A bit like the Pride flag.

Expand full comment

Well said. as far as i’m concerned we got 1. people with a serious mental illness/dysphoria who deserve all the love and support and 2. a group of people who think selecting their sex is an extension of their consumer rights- and they can all f off.

Expand full comment

Absolutely agree with you! The trans cult is based on lies, and when people realize that and criticize them, they fight back with made up words that mean nothing!

I had the treat this morning of seeing Jonathan Winters on an old Carol Burnett show playing the head of a hospital. They had to let one promising doctor go because he had a disability: he couldn't stand the sight of money. And this had to be in the 1970s! back when everyone did not kiss the asses of the medical establishment and comedy was satirical.

Men identifying as women (as we know) will play the imposter in any and every situation to gratify their arrogant belief that woman don’t have any rights they can’t appropriate. Getting transferred to a woman’s prison is especially pleasurable for many obvious reasons.

"London-based publishing company, Pan Macmillan, has just released the cover of a forthcoming book which will peddle gender identity ideology to minors."

A book for any child who "feels like they don't belong" - in other words, probably ever child in history at some stage, however fleeting. That's what thousands of kid's books have been about; the difference being that these other books told kids not to worry about it - or even to embrace it - they didn't encourage them to irreparably-damage their endocrine system or destroy their future sexual function or follow creepy adults on social media.

As if that wasn't insane enough, you look at the other stories about psychos, rapists, porn addicts etc - and that's the ideology they want to sell to kids? Where exactly is the "trans joy" future for any poor kid that gets hustled into this cult? That book is going to age very, very badly.

Though I had friends in school, I clearly didn't belong. My parents were leftists, we ate whole foods, we went to museums and parks, we were the only people with Jewish and African-American friends.

That said, a child raised in a genuinely loving, attentive household can survive "not belonging." It helped me to notice how fragile other kids were, especially the "popular" or those who looked down on their classmates.

Encountered Jade Anderson, from Bradford a couple of months ago at a bus stop accompanied by his deafening speaker. We all avoided eye contact, as he was obviously itching for a fight or at the very least an aggressive confrontation.

I was somewhat dismayed when he boarded the bus, I was sat on. However, he was swiftly removed by 2 police officers, (huge collective sigh of relief) ....as it appeared his aggressive use of offensive language in front of a young child needed to be addressed..(He was obviously known to the 2 police officers). I remember remarking to a friend at the time that his behaviour was perhaps not the best PR for the trans community.

It's awful, and it's frustrating, and most of the media are fully in the tank with the trans activists. The insistence from these creeps that everyone in the entire world must participate in their weird sex cult is the most shocking part. I never had any problem with people who have different beliefs from mine, as long as they didn't insist I shared them. Believe you're born again in the blood of Christ? If that works for you, carry on. Believe you're really a woman when you're a man? If that works for you, carry on. But when you try to make me bend the knee - try to make me swear to your god, or try to make me repeat your dogma, than we have a problem. I've lived in religiously intolerant places, but none has been so intolerant as the trans rights activists. None of the holy rollers I've met has tried to force all schoolchildren to be catechized in their faith, or insist that anybody who does not repeat their belief back to them must be fired or shunned. When you see a disgrace like the NYT publishing a screed by a man (Emily St James), who insists he's a woman, saying that he feels unwelcome in libraries because they don't uniformly push his beliefs... a man who himself supports banning books and banning speech that doesn't conform to his beliefs from public spaces... nobody tell me, on any day, that the most oppressed victims in the world are transwomen, because from where I sit they look like the most powerful. No Christian can make a nurse in a public hospital say to him "Jesus is Lord" before each interaction, but every transwoman can force a nurse to call him a "woman" when he's not. No public school is presenting a religious interpretation of the world as if it's fact - cut out the little gods that are fake, and then cut out the one true god? That would get people fired and sued. But here they are making kids repeat that all people have gender identities, and leave this part blank - cis, straight - so you can post a colorful flag there, and if you object to kids being catechized in this fashion, then you're the problem. Creeps. It's creeps all the way down. Not all of them are pedophiles, but all of them are trying to force everybody else to participate publicly in their sex cult. Nope.

More bad news, this time from Canada.

According to the Canadian women's sex-based rights group Gender Dissent, "Canadians need to know how society is being altered through policies based on scientifically invalid theories that ignore basic biological and evolutionary reality. And Canadians deserve to know who profits."

Apparently some powerful interests disagree.

From https://www.genderdissent.com/post/finding-each-other-through-the-movement-on-women-coming-together-to-resist-the-genderists :

"Just three months following [a March 2023] presentation [on Women's International Declaration's Feminist Question Time], having now published nearly 100 investigations, analyses and stories, Gender Dissent was informed by PayPal that it had identified a “potential risk” with our site. It is holding our collected funds and has permanently banned us from the PayPal platform. This, atop the anti-free-speech controls that the Liberal government continues to introduce with legislation such as the new, overreaching Online Streaming Act, give us is a foreboding sense that our online days in Canada may soon be limited."

Update June 2023

"Unfortunately, PayPal has decided to permanently limit our account as they found a 'potential risk' associated with it and they will no longer do business with us. We are working to find another provider as we cannot send or receive money and they will hold our current funds for 180 days.

We are women, standing up for women's rights in Canada. The fact that that is associated with a 'potential risk' tells our readers and subscribers everything they need to know. "
