Monday 27th January - This Never Happens #1
REDUXX: A trans-identified male has been accused of sexually assaulting a number of women while staying at a female-only shelter.
Mika Lin Katz, also known as Michael Collins, is a 37-year-old trans identified male from Edmonton in Alberta, Canada. He has several social media accounts on which he describes himself as a ‘woman trapped in a man’s body’ and claims to be taking cross-sex hormones. He has been charged with sexually abusing several different victims at an Edmonton women’s shelter.
Katz first came to the attention of the Edmonton Police Service in August 2024 when two women made allegations that he had sexually abused them. Following a police investigation, Katz was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault.
Two further victims then came forward and reported that they had been assaulted and harassed by Katz at the same women’s shelter. Last week, Katz was re-arrested by Edmonton police and he now faces two additional charges of criminal harassment and sexual assault.
The police believe that Katz may have abused more women and is asking for any other victims to contact them. (Anyone who feels they have been harmed by Mika Lin Katz / Michael Collins is asked to contact the Edmonton Police Service.)
Tuesday 28th January - This Never Happens #2
THE DAILY MAIL: A man convicted of voyeurism in a female toilet claimed to be gay and to ‘identify as a woman’, insisting he had a legal right to use women’s facilities.
In August 2022, 37-year-old Ivan Blidar was apprehended trying to spy on a young woman using a public toilet. The victim, who is in her 20s, was using the toilet in a McDonald’s restaurant in Liverpool city centre. She looked up and saw Blidar watching her from the adjacent cubicle over the dividing wall. The woman immediately left the toilet and alerted security staff who contacted the police. Blidar was later arrested.
When being questioned by police, Blidar told them that he ‘identifies as a woman’ and also claimed to be gay. He said he believed that people of a ‘non-traditional sexual orientation’ could choose which toilet to use. Speaking through an interpreter, Blidar said, “As far as I am aware there is no law in this country that would forbid women from using the male toilets and males using the female toilets. I identify as a woman. I am gay and I think I could choose which toilet I use. In London, in the pubs, it’s usual”.
Appearing at Sefton Magistrates Court this week, Blidar was convicted of observing a person doing a private act. The judge rejected his account of events. “His evidence on this issue was often vague and inconsistent. What the CCTV shows is that he is waiting for the female toilet to be clear so that he can go into the cubicles without anybody being aware of what he is doing. I am sure that was for sexual gratification.”
Blidar was bailed and will be sentenced in March.
Wednesday 29th January - This Unsporting Life
THE TELEGRAPH: Yet another teenage girl footballer has received a playing ban after questioning the sex of an opposition player.
In November 2024 we reported on the 17-year-old girl who was punished by the FA after she pointed out that the bearded opposition player she was expected to face on the football pitch is a man.
The teenager, who is currently on the assessment pathway for autism, plays for a local women’s football team. Playing a pre-season friendly last year, she was concerned about the presence of a trans-identified male, who is described as having a beard, on the opposition team. Worried for her own safety, the girl asked the player whether or not he’s a man and then raised her concerns with the match referee. The opposition team captain then confronted the girl and told her that she should not have an issue competing against a trans opponent.
The opposition team later lodged a complaint about the teenager though Kick It Out, an anti-discrimination sport watchdog. Both the trans-identified male player and the opposition squad captain accused the girl of ‘persistent transphobia’. (The referee of the game reported he had not witnessed any behaviour that could be construed as ‘transphobic’.) She was subsequently charged by her county FA and became the subject of an investigation. The referee of the game reported he had not witnessed any behaviour that could be construed as ‘transphobic’.
The teenager was subsequently found guilty of ‘discrimination’ by an FA National Serious Case Panel. It is reported that the girl was so traumatised by the experience, she cried throughout the entire hearing. She was banned from playing football for six games. For pointing out that a man is a man.
This week it was reported that a second teenager girl has been suspended from playing football in a case which parallels the one detailed above.
The girl, who has ADHD and learning difficulties, had only just turned 18 at the time of the incident in September. She was playing in a football match and had concerns that two of the opposition players were male. She approached the referee and said something along the lines of, “Ref, have you checked if all of their players are eligible to play? Look at their ‘keeper and for example their number 10 is obviously a man”. She was reportedly concerned over the players’ ‘extremely aggressive’ style of play. The referee threatened to send her off if she continued to question him on the matter.
After failing to gain any clarification from the referee, the girl then questioned some of the opposition players about their trans teammates. This resulted in a complaint being made about the teenager, triggering disciplinary proceedings against her. She was charged by her county Football Association and then had to face an FA National Serious Case Panel. The girl was banned for six matches and forced to undergo an ‘online education course’. Furthermore, her club received seven disciplinary points.
Speaking to Telegraph Sport on the condition of anonymity, the teenager spoke of her experience. “It kind of made me hate football”, she said. “If I say anything else, I get another six-game ban so I can’t even stand up for myself at this point.”
The FA’s trans inclusion policy for adult players allows biological males to play in women’s football if they satisfy certain ‘hormone-based requirements’. It considers applications on a case-by-case basis, assessing the ‘safety of the applicant and other players’ and ‘fair competition’.
Football is a contact sport; the safety of ‘other players’ will always be in jeopardy when women are forced to play with or against males. And as for ‘fair competition’, the FA’s policy is completely at odds with all the scientific evidence which demonstrates that, despite reducing testosterone levels and even after full ‘transition’, males retain numerous physical and physiological advantages over women and any loss of muscle mass and strength is negligible. The benefits of a male puberty cannot be undone.
Fiona McAnena, director of campaigns at Sex Matters, told The Telegraph, “It’s disgraceful that another teenage girl has been suspended for daring to challenge the presence of a male player in a women’s game. The FA has punished her for asking a question that matters for her own safety, and for fairness for all girls… How long can the FA continue to claim that there is no problem? How can the FA say it supports the women’s game when girls are being suspended for pointing out there is a man on the pitch?”
Thursday 30th January - IPSO Non-Facto
THE SPECTATOR: IPSO, the UK’s independent press regulator, has been captured by the trans lobby.
The Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) is the independent regulator for the UK print and digital news industry. “We uphold high editorial standards to protect the public and freedom of expression”, boasts the IPSO website. An article in The Spectator this week makes clear that is very far from the truth.
Six years ago, Conrad Roeber, was lead author of a report commissioned by IPSO which was intended to examine how the press reports on trans-related issues. He explains in this Spectator article that, as IPSO professes to prioritise accuracy, he proposed establishing the ‘truth’ around trans issues in order to gauge how accurately the press were treating on them. “At first Ipso was happy to agree with this approach”, says Roeber. “The pushback started when it became clear that our understanding of the baseline was disputed by the LGBT lobby.” Roeber produced numerous drafts of the report but IPSO continually responded with demands for it to be edited.
The case of Karen White is a clear example of IPSO’s adherence to gender ideology. White, formerly known as David Thompson, is a ‘predatory and highly manipulative’ rapist and paedophile who began ‘identifying as a woman’ after he was remanded into custody. White was housed in a women’s prison where, unsurprisingly, he sexually assaulted the female inmates. Some news reports referred to White with female pronouns and even used the absurd phrase ‘her penis’.
In his report, Roeber cited the Karen White case to question when the media has a responsibility to accurately report the sex of a perpetrator. IPSO insisted that he had to refer to Karen White, a dangerous sex offender, as ‘she’.
Roeber writes, “It became clear that IPSO wasn’t making these decisions in a vacuum and had been influenced by trans lobby groups, which were pushing to have ‘gender identity’ normalised in the media… I saw how close IPSO’s relationship with these advocacy groups had become, and in particular, the tight relationship Ipso had with Mermaids. My client contact at IPSO and Mermaids’ CEO, Susie Green, had a warm, almost cosy tone to their exchanges. It felt less like neutral arbitration and more like an ideological alignment.”
In December we reported on IPSO upholding a complaint that Juno Dawson, a man who claims to be a woman, was referred to as a man who claims to be a woman. Juno Dawson, for those who may not know, is a trans-identified male writer, journalist and former teacher who was known as James Dawson prior to his 2015 ‘transition’. He has made quite a career out of his gender identity, talking and writing on the subject ad infinitum over the last nine years. That Dawson is a man who claims to be a woman has always been self-evident.
In May last year, Gareth Roberts, author, journalist and gender critical gay man, wrote an article in The Spectator about Nicola Sturgeon. In referencing one of Sturgeon’s press interviews, Roberts stated that she “Was interviewed by writer Juno Dawson, a man who claims to be a woman”.
Dawson then complained to IPSO that the phrase ‘a man who claims to be a woman’ was a breach of section 1 of the Editor’s Code, which governs inaccuracy; a breach of section 3, which covers harassment; and a breach of section 12.1, which holds that “The press must avoid prejudicial or pejorative reference to an individual’s race, colour, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or to any physical or mental illness or disability”. He said he believed that the words were discriminatory as he legally ‘changed gender’ in 2018 and that he considered he was deliberately mis-gendered with the intention of causing offence.
IPSO found there was no breach of section 1 or 3; the phrase was neither inaccurate nor harassment. Shockingly, however, IPSO did conclude that the phrase was a breach of section 12.1. The committee decided that the article had included a reference to the complainant’s gender identity that it considered to be both pejorative and prejudicial.
Apparently, referring to a man who claims to be a woman as a man who claims to be a woman is “personally belittling and demeaning toward the complainant, in a way that was both pejorative and prejudicial to her [sic] gender identity, and was not justified by the columnist’s right to express their views on the broader issues of sex and gender identity.
You may remember that last year a trans-identified male was convicted of making violent threats against Helen Joyce and Kellie-Jay Keen (aka Posie Parker).
44-year-old Layla Le Fey, formerly known as Adam Hodgson and Marcus Smith, commented to Helen Joyce on X/Twitter, “God how I would love to just rip your eyes out, chop your hands off, and carve your face up really badly”.
He also threatened Kellie-Jay Keen with extreme violence.
One post said that he would be happy to “Brutally and horrifically kill” her.
Another post expressed a desire to set fire to Kellie-Jay’s house with her inside.
When Le Fey was arrested over these social media threats, Sussex Police described him as a woman and used female pronouns with which to refer to him. The Argus, the area’s local paper, reported this story also describing Le Fey as a woman and referring to him with female pronouns.
Helen Joyce made a complaint to IPSO about the article’s inaccuracy, telling the regulator, “I am not a ‘third party’ in this complaint. It closely relates to me – to my life and to my knowledge of what happened to me; I dared to speak about women’s rights and a man who doesn’t care for women speaking about their rights threatened me in an attempt to intimidate me into silence. This misreporting of a crime has had a significant impact on my life. It is revictimisation.”
IPSO dismissed Helen Joyce’s complaint as a ‘third party issue’, stating that determining Le Fey’s gender – critical to assessing the complaint of inaccuracy – would require an investigation that “Could represent a significant intrusion into their privacy”. Surely no investigation is needed after Le Fey himself tweeted “im [sic] a trans woman”? His ‘gender’, to borrow a phrase, is bleedin’ obvious.
Conrad Roeber writes, “By the end of my time working for IPSO, it was hard to ignore the fact that it had clearly adopted the core principles of trans identity ideology. It could not claim to be a neutral arbitrator. I was surprised it took so long for that apparent bias to show up”.
Also Today - This Never Happens #3
WSAU: The would-be assassin who planned to kill the new US Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, is a trans-identified male.
Scott Bessent is a Wall Street hedge fund investor who lives in South Carolina with his husband and family. Last week he was appointed as the 79th United States secretary of the treasury. Fifth in the presidential line of succession, Bessent is the highest-ranking openly gay official in US history.
Within hours of his appointment, Bessent was subject to an assassination attempt. On 28th January, Ryan Michael English gave himself up to police at the US Capitol. He was in possession of a knife and two Molotov cocktails (ie bottles of vodka stuffed with alcohol-soaked rags). According to police documentation, English had travelled from Massachusetts to Washington originally intending to kill Defence Secretary, Pete Hegseth, and House Speaker, Mike Johnson. However, he then decided to target Scott Bessent on learning of his nomination as Treasury Secretary.
English told police that his plan was to throw the Molotov cocktails at Bessent’s feet, but, were he able to get close enough, he intended to stab Bessent with a knife. He said he had also intended to burn down the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, and was prepared to murder police officers to carry out his plans. He has been charged with unlawful receipt, possession or transfer of a firearm, and carrying a firearm, explosive or incendiary device on Capitol grounds.
A few days after his arrest, it was revealed that English identifies as transgender and calls himself ‘Riley Jane’. During his arrest, Capitol Police discovered a handwritten confession in his pocket during which contains the line, “This is terrible, but I can’t do nothing while Nazis kill my sisters”.
Friday 31st January - “Stunning & Brave”
NEWSWEEK: A convicted rapist and murderer who now identifies as trans is being constantly indulged by the US prison service.
Steven Joseph Hayes was a convicted criminal by the age of 16 and spent of much of his early life in prison. He is now serving six life sentences for the kidnap, rape, and murders of a mother and her two young daughters.
Late one night in July 2007, Steven Hayes and his his accomplice, Joshua Komisarjevsky, broke into a family home in Cheshire, New Haven, Connecticut. Dr William Petit was asleep on a couch on the ground floor of the house while his wife, Jennifer Hawke-Petit, and their two daughters, 11-year-old Michaela and 17-year-old Hayley, were asleep upstairs.
Komisarjevsky beat William Petit with a baseball bat and then Hayes bound his hands and feet with cable ties, leaving him in the basement. The pair then restrained Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her two young daughters in their respective bedrooms, tying them by their wrists and ankles to their bedposts and putting pillowcases over their faces. They then ransacked the house, hunting for cash. Dissatisfied with their spoils, Hayes kidnapped Jennifer Hawke-Petit and forced her to withdraw $15,000 from her local bank.
After returning to the house, Hayes raped Jennifer Hawke-Petit and then strangled her to death. Komisarjevsky raped 11-year-old Michaela. Hayes then doused both of the girls, who were still tied to their beds, with gasoline before setting the house on fire. The young sisters were left to burn to death. Only Dr William Petit survived that horrific night, managing to escape and crawl to a neighbour’s garden.
In October 2010 Steven Hayes was found guilty of 16 different offences including murder, rape, and kidnap. He was originally sentenced to death by lethal injection but his sentence was commuted to life imprisonment after Connecticut abolished the death penalty in 2012.
Around 2018, Hayes began ‘identifying as a woman’. In 2019 he appeared on the 15 Minutes With podcast, and told host, Joe Tomaso, that he is transgender and receiving cross-sex hormone treatment in prison. He claimed to have been diagnosed with ‘sexual identity disorder’ in 1980 when he was aged 16.
This week Newsweek published a very sympathetic puff piece about Steven Hayes who is now 61 years old and calling himself Linda Mai Lee. The article, written by Joshua Rhett Miller, refers to Hayes with female pronouns throughout. It downplays Hayes’ horrific crimes and blames them squarely on his ‘gender confusion’ at the time. “Had Lee accepted herself [sic] earlier”, it opines, “Hawke-Petit and her daughters may still be alive”. How incredibly insulting to the family of Hayes’ victims.
The article also makes clear the shocking extent to which the US prison service has been pandering to Haye’s ‘gender identity’ in recent years.
While incarcerated at SCI Greene, Hayes was “Allowed to dress as a woman with a tailored uniform, bows on her shirt or scarves worn around her waist”. He was then transferred to SCI Benner Township, a prison in Pennsylvania. There he was also permitted to ‘present as a female’ and used art supplies as make-up. However, prison staff drew the line at his request for eye make-up, a ‘cup style’ bra instead of a sports bra and depilatory remedies for his body hair. The refusal of prison authorities to indulge his demands for lingerie and cosmetic treatments led to Hayes filing a law suit against them.
Hayes is now incarcerated at Oregon State Penitentiary where authorities clearly bend over backwards to coddle his ‘gender identity’. “Lee said she [sic] is able to wear makeup, eye shadow, foundation, eyeliner and even lipstick on occasion. She [sic] also cherishes her [sic] jewellery, including rings and necklaces, as well as bras, panties and what she [sic] called a ‘slightly feminized’ uniform… She's [sic] now seeking breast augmentation and hair replacement therapy.” (One wonders how such demands from a female prisoner would be regarded.)
Although Haye’s gender dysphoria necessitates breast implants and women’s lingerie, it does not seem to require any alteration to his male genitals; “Lee said she's [sic] not currently considering surgical options”. Of course ‘she’ isn’t.
The only surviving victim of Hayes’ brutal crimes, Dr William Petit, is afforded one brief mention in Joshua Rhett Miller’s article; “He declined to comment on Lee's transition through a spokesperson when reached by Newsweek”.
Saturday 1st February - I Can’t Believe It’s Not Satire
THE TIMES: A French gynaecologist has been punished by his medical governing body after refusing to treat a trans-identified male patient.
In September 2023 we reported on French gynaecologist, Dr Victor Acharian, whose practice is in the Pau region of France. A 26-year-old trans-identified male sought treatment at Dr Acharian’s practice, visiting the clinic with his male partner. According to The Times, the would-be patient had not undergone any ‘gender reassignment’ surgery.
Dr Acharian told the would-be patient that he has no expertise in trans healthcare as he is a gynaecologist and, therefore, only treats women. He did, however, offer to refer the patient to a trans specialist. At the time, Dr Acharian told Euronews, “I told her [sic] that I’m not competent, but I can guide you. I can refer you to services that can take better care of you. But after I said that, things went south”.
The trans-identified male ‘became hyper-violent’, yelling at Dr Acharian and repeatedly calling him ‘transphobic’. He also insulted the doctor’s secretary before storming out of the surgery.
The trans-identified male’s partner then left a spiteful review of the clinic online. Dr Acharian responded by commenting, “I am a gynaecologist, and I take care of real women. I have no skills to take care of men, even if they have shaved their beards and come to tell my secretary that they [have] become women. My gynaecological examination table is not suitable for examining men. You have specialized and very competent services to take care of men like you. Thank you for informing TRANS people to never come for consultation with me.” He was later forced to apologise ‘to the trans community’ for his ‘clumsy’ words.
Of course, trans lobby groups across Europe condemned Dr Acharian, with some even lodging complaints with the police and medical authorities. SOS Homophobie denounced Dr Acharian’s so-called ‘discriminatory remarks’ and condemned his adherence to biological reality as ‘transphobia’. Transgender health group, Espace Santé Trans, issued a statement saying, “Gynaecologists should treat trans women even if they have not had genital reassignment surgery or hormonal treatment.”
On 16th December 2024, Dr Acharian appeared before the Conseil National de l’Ordre des Médecins, the French Medical Council. This week it was reported that he has been suspended for one month with an additional five months’ probation. If, during that time, Dr Acharian engages in so-called ‘transphobia’ or refuses to treat another trans-identified male patient, he will face further sanctions.
As French feminist campaigner, Marguerite Stern, wrote on X/Twitter, “This is all pure ideology. And then we are told that there is no trans lobby, no trans ideology, or whatever. We live in a world of lunatics. The times are just WOW. What a show!”
Sunday 2nd February - This Never Happens #4
REDUXX: In Argentina, a trans-identified male has been arrested on charges of sexually exploiting women and girls.
Last October, Argentina’s National Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DDI) began an investigation into a clandestine unlicensed private bar being operated in Buenos Aires. It soon became clear that the premises were being used to prostitute women so undercover detectives infiltrated the club posing as customers.
It is alleged that a trans-identified male known as Carolina Juárez owned and operated the bar. The undercover detectives visited the premises periodically to record evidence of illegal activities with hidden cameras. During the investigation, police discovered that Juárez was also prostituting an underage girl to paedophile clients, using private WhatsApp groups to communicate with them.
On 26th January, the DDI raided the premises, arresting Juárez and a number of his male clients. The young girl being abused was rescued and provided with medical and psychological assistance.
Juárez has been charged with the promotion and facilitation of prostitution of children under 18, and his devices have been seized for further forensic examination.
But this never happens, of course.
