Just a handful of the good news stories from the gender beat this week. Enjoy! Another Domino Tumbles As reported by BBC NI’s Nolan Live programme, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), has left Stonewall’s ‘diversity champions’ scheme. Despite being awarded ‘employer of the year’ very recently, the PSNI has pulled out of the Stonewall scheme, the latest public sector organisation to do so.
I just love to see Shona ‘rabbit in headlights’ Robison get a kicking. That she champions trans-identified male rapists and pedophiles over women is a disgrace.
Thanks JL. Very encouraging to see 44 Oxford academics backing Kathleen Stock. The gender cult is pretty cowardly and likes to pick on lone figures. They can't go after 44 people in the same way.
De Santis seems to be the leader we all need right now. His polling isn't great but it'll be very interesting to see how he cuts through between now and 2024. You'd hope that preventing creeps and weirdos from mutilating kids would be a bit of a no-brainer at the ballot box.
Talking of politicians committing hara-kiri over the gender debate,; when asked whether women can have a penis, Lib Dem leader Ed Davey this morning answered "quite clearly!"
Great articles in the Scotsman and the Scottish Times. The silence from Scottish politicians of all persuasions is deafening, but they can't stay quiet for ever. Incidentally, is Youssaf still going ahead with his appeal against the Westmnster Government to get the SNP's self-id up and running?
Thank you, as always for the good news supplement. There's a good article on the new vice-chancellor who, touch wood, is strongly pro freedom of speech
Thanks JL, love the up beat posts. Great to see stonewall lose another client. Always love hearing positive news about the wonderful and brilliant Kathleen Stock.
Alex Massie, in his article, says "it is true that for most people, most of the time, these clashes of rights will not arise". This is untrue. Once you allow men in women's spaces it effects every woman all the time, even if they never actually come across a man in their spaces. I'm from New Zealand and I will no longer allow my daughter to get changed in the women's just in case there is a man in there (which is happening over here). A one in a thousand chance of such an encounter is enough for her rights to be compromised.
Great to find some sensible students ( and dons) and at Oxford - great letter.
Alex Massie is right - often called the logic trap , famously fallen into by Ms Sturgeon...and also Mr Varadkar (Barbie Kardashian). Looks like they are to be joined by Ms Robison!!
I can’t even begin to articulate how much I admire and am grateful for Graham Linehan for speaking out and campaigning for women’s and children’s rights and safety. He is a true hero in my eyes. I love him to bits. If only I could shake his hand.
I actually can't cope. Almost in tears here listening to Graham. He's a national treasure- how can his friends and his industry allow this to happen to him?
The police may have left Stonewall but they still have their training embedded in their minds. It'll take a while for that to shift. Without the SW targets to meet though we should see a definite improvement.
thanks JL i got a bit involved and ranty again in my recent post so i’ll leave the cat thing today. Just had the most wonderful morning running whilst my little girl cycled- followed by a bit of splish splash at the swimming pool! Just shared a bag of spicy coated in that crispy fat stuff peanuts. Good times. enjoy the sun.

Gotta tell you Eddie. I've never been that drunk!

Ever grateful for Graham keeping up my spirits. And for the amusing comments.
Sorry, some bad news on the way with Baroness Falkner being harassed by some bully within the EHRC. It's reported in The Times but you can also read it on Unherd https://unherd.com/thepost/baroness-falkner-is-right-to-stand-up-to-gender-ideology/
Also, worth repeating (and repealing) https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/628382
if you've not done so, this is the petition to repeal the GRA 2004
