Liz Truss has really been kicking against the pricks at Stonewall. I'm a socialist but, what can I say, this woman will go down in history as one of our most prominent defenders. However, this is not to diminish anybody else's efforts. I was indifferent to the fight until about a year ago and now thanks to many lesser-known writers as well as the Glinner and the LGB Alliance, I'm glad to find myself on this side of the fence. Great to see Suzanne Moore at the Telegraph too.
The Crown Prosecution Service potentially opting out would be a massive win for sanity and common-sense. We would see the end of male rapists and paedophiles referred to as she in court documents. This would hopefully have a trickle-down effect and the media would do likewise.
Wonderful, heartening article,JL. It does look as though Truss is our most powerful ally. Labour women have peaked in their thousands and until Labour acknowledge why their female voters have abandoned them, the Tories are going nowhere. I can’t wait to see which organisation jettisons Stonewall next.
Truss has long been touted as *the* next-gen Tory. A claim which I personally resisted for a long time.
But after the international trade deals she's busily securing and the fact she's the lone voice of sanity pushing back against the all-pervasive gender scourge, I may have to reevaluate my previous stance 😜
Wow this is amazing news. Whoever this Liz Truss is has ovaries of steel and I sincerely hope she has really good security. If the transvestite predators who have subsumed the LGBT rights movement realize they have lost all legitimacy they may actually lose their cotton picking minds. Even more than they already have, I mean.
